AI have been going to Fetzer Tire for several years and have never been disappointed. I always feel they do outstanding work at a reasonable price and are very professional and courteous in every way - including their mechanics.
I recently had a flat fixed and 4-wheel alignment. As I'm paying the bill I casually mentioned my automatic door lock was busted. I was hoping they could refer me to someone who could repair it? They took the door apart and spent a good 20 minutes on it then told me it required parts they didn't have. They suggested that I bring it to the dealer because there could be another way to resolve it. Time is money, so I offered to pay for the diagnosis. Howie refused to charge me anything. They're easy to work with and easy to come back to for more services when needed.

AThey were prompt, polite, perfect! I never expected to be so happy with a transport service. The driver kept me informed. He even gave me an option of dropping the car off where I work so I didn't have to miss any work. Excellent, wonderful! The driver was a doll!

AIf you are tired of going to the dealer and feel like a number and that you are getting ripped off, then you should definitely try Southport Automotive Service. The company has a real mom and pop feel about it. The service writer at the front desk is both knowledgeable and friendly. He makes an effort to get to know the customers. He is very quick to diagnose a problem with your car, saving you a lot of time scheduling appointments with other establishments, such as a dealer. The mechanics are some of the best in the business, yet they dont charge you an arm and a leg for their service like some repair shops. The owner is out in the garage working as a mechanic, so he is very hands on. He often will come up to the front office and walk you through some of the service your car needs, or will debrief you on the service performed after the work is completed. This hands on approach is unheard of at a dealership. If you want a personal approach to servicing your car, I strongly recommend Southport Automotive Service. My wife and I have brought our cars to them for almost 20 years. They can work on all models, but their real strength is domestic cars such as GM, Chevy, Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, and they work on a lot of Honda's, too.
