Robin in Manchester store is very patient and knowledgeable. She took time to make sure our questions are fully answered and she returned every email and voicemail messages. Installation was done efficiently and professionally.

Excellent! Price was reasonable and these people arrived when they said that they would. They worked quickly and efficiently and were finished ahead of schedule. Work was excellently done- they took great pains to make the floor as attractive as possible. They even cleaned up when finished and removed boxes/packaging. I can't praise them enough. In fact, I asked for referral information so that I could refer them to friends.

Communication was a challenge throughout the process up to and including the day that the work was supposed to be done. The week that the work was supposed to be done we emailed Rob asking him for approximate start times so we could make arrangements to have someone open up and lock up the house. He gave us an hour window of time for work to start (between 10 and 11 AM) and end (5 and 6 PM) on the first day, times for the second day and indicated the work may go into a 3rd day (first time we heard about a possible third day). We have a 20 month old and I am 7 months pregnant so knowing how long to be out of the house to avoid dust and fumes was kind of important. Anyway, we asked if it would be possible to have someone call when the workers were on their way to the house so I could leave work and open up the house for them. Our request, which was sent via email, went unacknowledged/unanswered.
As we approached 11 AM on the day work was supposed to start I called Mr. Hardwood's main number because I had not heard from the crew yet, no answer. Not knowing what was going on I left work and headed home since we never actually received confirmation that anyone would call us. Between 10:45ish and noon I made several calls to two different phone numbers that I could find for Mr. Hardwood. All no answer. Finally at noon I reached Rob and he said someone would be over in 20 to 30 minutes. I asked him how the delayed start would impact the ending time (we were heading out of town as soon as work was done for the day so wanted to adjust our plans if we needed to). He said the workers would be done between 4 and 5 PM, so they were starting 2.5 hours late and ending early .... I was skeptical of any time estimates he gave me at this point but I said ok. I closed the call by saying, someone will be here to start by 12:30, right? His answer was yes.
At 12:40 nobody had shown up, so I called Mr. Hardwood's numbers again, no answer. I left a message indicating that I would be leaving the house because I was due back at work.  I get back to work and receive a call from Rob at 1:10 saying workers were at my house. I was shocked because I clearly indicated we need to reschedule in my message. Ultimately Rob and I agreed that it was best not to proceed with any work and he promptly refunded the 50% deposit.
This was a huge inconvenience as we (really my husband) had to move all of our furniture (couches, tables, china cabinet, etc), we arranged to stay at friend's house in New Hampshire for the weekend and had made arrangements for people to open and close the house while we were away for the crew so they could do their work.
Bottom line, I am sure Mr. Hardwood does good work but I would not attempt to use them again or recommend them due to the trouble we had with communication and scheduling.

I was quoted with in a few days of my initial call.  He was very personable and professional.  The price very realistic for the amount of labor required.  The team was always on-time and worked efficiently to get the job done.  The floors were installed in three rooms, a stairwell, and a catwalk hallway.  The dinning room was sanded and refinished.  While the dinning room was different wood, both in type and design, they did a great job of making it go very well with the newly installed hardwood.  Whenever we had concerns or questions they were immediately addressed and in such a manner above and beyond our own requests.  The floors look outstanding!  We already have plans to work with them in the future.
