AI can't say enough good about Jon and his crew. This is a big move. We had estmates from a huge national mover and a local but large mover. Both estimates were reasonable but more than we wanted to spend. Also, they were estimates, with room to cost substantially more. There were also arcane limitations on their liability that a laweer would have dificulty understanding. John quoted a flat rate that was way below the others, and supplied us with an insurance certificate. I checked with the insurer and confirmed that, yes, if they damage something it was covered. Jon came to estimate and gave us great advice on packing for the move. He supplied us with 2000 square feet of bubble wrap at a ridiculously low price. When the day of the move came a six man crew arrived and went to work. The were incredibly nice, competent, and easy to work with. They clearly had worked together for a long time and they ran like a well oiled machine. The job ran long and they came back the next day to complete it. Along the way they helped arrange the storage in a way that we are able to use one less space than anticipated, saving us about $200 a month. They also broke up a bunch of furniture that is headed for the dump an loaded it into my trailer, saving me a lot of grief. I'm afraid that all of this may sound like a phony plug. CThings that I VERY carefully packed in boxes were fine. Anything not in a box (such as a standing lamp) was battered. Anything not packed in LOTS of cushioning was broken. Their claims department was ridiculously slow in processing my claim for a sofa bed that was smeared in hinge grease at a doorway.- Rachel B.

AWe have moved many times during our work lives - Ohio, Wyoming, Virginia, Connecticut - and Eric and his crew were by far the best we have had - easily outperforming all the large commercial movers we have used. They arrived on time, worked non-stop and worked quickly. They took very good care of our items, carefully wrapping furniture and other easily damaged items. We had three storage bins to empty and move to our new home. This required two trips on a Friday and a third on Saturday morning using the crew's 24-foot truck (our new home was about 20 miles from the storage facility). At our new home, Eric's crew placed the furniture and boxes where we requested without complaint - going up and down two stories, into the basement and in the garage. They worked closely with us to place items where they belonged, saving us loads of work. What was most enjoyable is that Eric and his crew are a group of intelligent and polite young men - we haven't heard so many "Yes, sirs" and "Thank you's" since leaving the South. A very tedious task, made quite enjoyable by this crew. Finally, I would note that we were warned by friends not to hire a crew that works by the hour. Those friends were wrong. This crew worked fast, efficiently and non-stop. And in the end, the cost was far less than any quotes I had received from others who wanted to lock in a pre-determined price. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

AThey were excellent and were on time. Everything was wrapped perfectly. There was no damage done at all. We estimated 3 hours of work and they were done in 2 hours and 15 minutes. It worked out very good for us. They did a great job and the price was phenomenal.- Elaine M.

BThey were very good and timely. They worked quickly and efficiently and they saved me $200 because it was an hourly job and they came in two hours under work that was estimated. There was an incident when they were moving a mirror from the bed on my daughter's house, they broke a wall lamp. Everything was excellent except for that issue. That was unfortunate but things can happen. They were a little bit lower than the other company that gave bids.- Judith H.

AIt went fantastic, they were in and out with no damage to our furniture or house and they were very courteous. Last time I moved myself and spent close to the same amount and it was more stressful and painful.
I would not consider moving myself again I would contact Collegian again.

AExcellent. The office was very good about setting everything up. The movers and packers were punctual, friendly, efficient, and helpful. We had no damage to anything. Only thing lacking was some instruction on how we should prepare and pack those items we were doing ourselves.- Richard K.
