Beginning to end excellent. Assessed our Problem, made recommendations on materials and options. Competitive price, repaired our old deck bringing it up to modern day building code. New decking, railings and stairs. Leo and crew exceeded my expectations. Very professional, courteous, a pleasure to work with. Beautifully done. Will hire again for more projects.

Leo and his crew did an outstanding job building us a 400+ sq.ft. deck, replacing 11 windows and an exterior door. Leos knowledge of construction, design, and building code is impressive. With his help, we have a deck that we are very proud of, window and door installation with minimal impact to our interior, and a sunroom that has been structurally re-supported. His crew were always prompt, courteous, and clean. Communication from start to finish really helped keep us from guessing. Were hoping to use him for continued work!

Matthew is very easy to work with. He listens carefully and is willing to discuss different solutions that might work. Matthew is very adaptable and gave his wealth of experience to steer our many projects. Our old house is a "fixer-upper" and needs a wide range of repair. Matthew's expertise in carpentry was a huge help in working out these complex problems with us. Matthew arrives on time and fully equipped with the right tool for just about anything. He is neat and always cleans up at the end of each day. There are no hidden surprises in his invoice at the end of the job. He quotes jobs accurately and sends the invoice promptly. Extra costs are always discussed ahead of time. Matthew is a cheery enthusiastic skillful fellow and a joy to work with. We will happily be using him again. And it is always Matthew and not somebody else who comes to work!.

    All-Around Handyman Service
david arrived most days by 10 am, we thought that was a late start. one gutter is leaking and one is falling off and the tilt is wrong. when he did the back deck bannisters, he designed the steps poorly, too high, so we asked him to redo 1 set of stairs. when we got to the front porch steps, the steps he put in are different heights, he did not finish the top of the pillars so water can get in, I understand wood has imperfections like holes or cutouts but David did not choose to put the less perfect wood on the backside or less conspicuous spots i.e there are 2 entryway wood bannisters, one has a huge gash in could have been turned around or put elsewhere. 3 of the 8 brand new steps had crack lines in them. we asked David to return to fix the gutters and top of the pillars about 4 months ago, he just keeps saying, he'll stop by.

All details were attended to and quality work preformed. Very impressive that they were on top of things from start to finish including all the minor details and follow up work. Workers showed up to work on time and worked diligently until the project was completed.

Pete Fox talked a great story when he first came to the house in July of 2012.  He could do everything I wanted and more.  The first job was having his friend do the roof and the gutters.  He did a fine job - he was very professional and the roof came out great.  In fact, I couldn't figure out why my smoke detector on the second floor was leaking water - and he came to figure it out - went all over the roof and into my attic  - and saw that my air conditioning condensation tray was directly over the smoke detector so it leaked into it.  He said it would probably never happen again.  I will look for the name of the roofer and post a stellar review - just couldn't find it to post it for this loser.
The basement was done OK with the exception of the carpeting.  The installer he used banged up the paint job during his job.
When I vacuumed the stairs for the first time, ( I'm not proud - but it was not until May since I do not use the basement at this time) a loose fiber got sucked into the vacuum and 2 inches of the padding became exposed because the installation was faulty.  The carpet just unravelled!!!  I requested the name of the installer so I could contact him directly but Peter Fox refused.
I did all of the spackling and repairs to the interior walls to save on expense.  I was charged over 3000.00 for painting one coat for three rooms along with a cathedral ceiling.. which would have been OK except the ceiling was never painted.  I had to call Peter out on it to get them to paint the ceiling.  Also - one coat was not enough - and if I did not insist on a 2nd - Peter Fox would have left it looking like crap.
Being ripped off for the electrical work that his electrician was supposed to do is what pushed me over the edge.  His electrician spent about two hours at my property and subcontracted other work out to his friend - whom I don't know - however I was billed two thousand dollars for the installation of 3 basic ceiling fixtures and two bathroom fans.
Pete used substandard wood for the deck, causing many boards to warp and separate from the floor and the railings.  He used wood putty extensively which made the railings have unsightly bumps, dark spots and light spots.  Every post used next to a gate developed gaping splits down the middle of each one.  It was unbelievable.  I forwarded Peter photos of the poor workmanship that I had paid top dollar for - but he was not interested.  I paid a carpenter almost 500.00 for repairs last summer just so I could stain the rest of the deck.
