DFrom the initial phone call to when I called off the deal, every time my husband or I spoke with the director, she treated us like she was doing us a huge favor rather than as valued clients or customers. Anytime I had a question, she seemed insulted and put-upon that she had to answer it. She was extremely unpleasant, so I was glad to be able to take my business elsewhere. It is a really basic thing--especially when dealing with people who've just lost a loved one and are managing an estate--to be kind. That's all she needed to do to keep my business. I left her voice mail to call off the deal and asked her to email or call back to acknowledge the message. She couldn't be bothered. I assume she didn't want or need my business, but she was definitely lacking even in the basic compassion and politeness departments.- Johanna B.
