    Picked up right on time.....delivery across the country one day over estimated date of arrival. Kept me up dated as to the slight delay. Car arrived with no damage. The driver was courteous and helpful.

    Splash Car Wash - Stamford
    I will only trust Splash to clean my car.  This provider is well organized from start to finish. I like to get the wheel express because it adds that extra shine to my tires.  The guys start out by thoroughly vacuuming my vehicle, including all the mats. Before going through the wash, the guys hose down the car really well and gently scrub certain areas. There are many workers cleaning inside, no automated bristles. After it's done being washed, that's where these guys really 'shine', no pun intended! They use air hoses to get all the trapped water out from the the potential drop areas. They dry the vehicle off, inside door jams and trunks. Wash all the windows and clean the tires and then add the 'shine' to them. It always looks amazing when it's done!

    I bought a Subaru Out Back wagon from them and almost from day 1 I had a problem with the transmission but I did purchase the extended warranty, I after several times back and forth  with the Transmission getting stuck in gear then last summer they replaced the Transmission Valve Body ("only serviceable part in the transmission"), with in a week the car got stuck in gear and I could not get it out, took it in and they said it needs a new Transmission, but since they "miss diagnosed the problem the Warranty company would not pay for it" after waiting a week for an answer they finally replaced the transmission (they did not get paid for this from the warranty company so they "had to eat it", well with in 2 weeks I brought it back still with shift problems and getting stuck in gear, I took till late fall and after several trips back I have to take the car for a drive and use my cell phone to "Take a video of the car stuck in gear", all of a sudden they saw it and I took a Tech for a ride and he too felt it. they said they "contacted Subaru and they said it was normal for a Transmission to get stuck in gear" I have told them when stuck in gear it "lunges" and is not safe to drive and they said they can't replace the transmission cause they would not get paid for the new one either and as long as the car is driving it is fine.
    Gota tell you I do not think I will ever buy another Subaru and if I do will never use Stamford Subaru Service as they do not do what they are responsible for and I am stuck with a 2003 Subaru with less that 106,000 miles on its 2nd transmission and it is still not right or safe. they will  not give me copts of my service records showing the 15+ trips in for this issues or honor the Lemon law to buy back the car, if you use their service get a copy of the work done on every trip in even if they don't do work or charge you for it.

    In order to keep my 2/24 warranty on my used Subaru I had to change the Timing belt, the dealership price was a bit much, I heard good things about Fairfield Motoworks so I called and spoke to Chris and he made the appointment and got me in the next day, we met in Greenwich, CT and he towed my car up and had it ready in the 3 days (as promised) he called me and kept me informed (never had a mechanic up date me about my car during service before, very nice), picked up the car, no issues, no surprises, and I am very happy, so much so when my Step Daughter's car needed a head gasket and timing belt done, I called Chris at Fairfield Motoworks, once again no issues, the staff was very polite, informative and friendly (even the guys that didn't work on my car), my 1st time there they made me feel right at home

    When I bought my used, 2012 Impreza in February 2013, I also bought the Maintenance Program (on any sales desk and the service counter) that give you a discount on the maintenance required, at service intervals and at the 30,000 mile service it shows a list of what is required and what will be done (Take a look), I took my car in for that 30,000 service as required and got back a Partial list of what was listed to be done on the bill not he full list of what was listed on the Program I had bought and paid for? So I asked service and they said they had to do it that way in order to make the bill come out to the amount I was to pay (less 40% ish), I asked how will I (or any one) would know what was really done with out proper documentation", they said "we have it in the computer", I asked "if the Spark plugs and Coolant where changed" they said "NO", I showed them the Brochure (that was right there on the counter and they verified I had that Maintenance Program and it was covered) and they said I had to speak to Marc the service manager, I called, spoke to Marc and sent several E-mails and he fought me on what was and was not covered in the Maintenance Program I bought and paid for (never the same answer twice?), I sent him a copy of the Maintenance Program and he still said "we do not change plugs or coolant at the 30,000 mile service...." (I mean how can a service manager not know what is covered under a service plan they sell in their brochure and told about repeatedly? I asked him to get the plan and read it to me over the phone and he did, I asked why the plugs and coolant where not changed and he said "you don't have to do them at this milage" I said I paid to have that done and with out it being done or documentation I would void my Life Time Warranty" he said sorry they did not need to be changed and they had the documentation" (how am I to show anyone down the road, whether it be a future buyer or Dan Perkins if I need to have any warranty work) so I contacted Subaru Corporate and after several more E-mails they finally saw I was right and they owed me the Spark Plugs and Coolant change and was told it would be done at the next service, I made my appointment for the last service under my Program, told the service people that Marc knew what had to be done and booked the oil change, spark plugs and coolant change, well I show up at 8am bright and early and no one knows any thing about the plugs or coolant change "just the oil change"? talk about a BIG LET DOWN, so if you buy a car from Dan Perkins and pay for a service plans you will not get what you paid for or documentation of the work they did do...I wonder why...a Warranty claim should be even more fun...boy I can't wait. I

    I have been dealing with Cheech and his great staff for almost 4 years now, I bought my 1st Porsche from Cheech (he sold it for the previous owner) and was impressed from day one, Cheech is a great guy and know a great deal as does his staff, every time I walk in to the shop I am greeted with hello's from every one, and "hows your car" I always answer the same way "I love my car!" or "check out that Porsche we just did a Super Charger on it", or  "You changed the brakes?", they saw I changed to cross drilled rotors, it shows they not only know my car but take an interest in it, this is one of the cleanest shops I have ever seen, every morning the shop starts with mopping the floor's even behind cabinets and lifts and then 2 men do shop cleaning and restock all day long. Their tool boxes are spotless (If this is how they take care of their stuff it shows how they will take care of yours). This 944 is my first Porsche and knew nothing about them or the industry, just having the Rennwerke license plate bracket on my car has been the start of so many conversations, "hey you deal with Rennwerke's?", this is more than a shop it is part of the Porsche community and has one of the best reputations I've ever seen, I have never felt like a customer there but more like family, I gave Cheech the metal cut out of the 944 on the front door, one last thing and one of the best, there are at any one time 50+ Porsche's of all kinds in the lot (they even had a Porsche tractor there one day)
    I found not only a great shop for my pride and joy but a home for life with Rennwerke

    SPANKING CLEAN AUTO SOUND & SECURITY
    I bought a new (old) Porsche and it needed an audio and telephone transplant. Kevin was very knowledgeable about the different options and gave me sound advice. He and his team did a first class job of installing the system and put back all the pieces back carefully and correctly. The system works great and I have integrated Bluetooth and Pandora working in a car that was built when this technology did not exist. I would recommend Kevin and his team with no hesitation.
