    Cawiamca
The Cawiamca management and crews were outstanding in every respect, from the initial consultation through the recommendations and planning to the final execution of the project. Once materials were onsite the various crews worked tirelessly and in a timely manner, all the while maintaining a professional and courteous manner that matched their respective levels of skill. Whether it was carpentry, tiling, flooring, or siding, the work was done fully to our satisfaction and exceeded our expectations. The end result was a lovely full remodel of a 60 year old house that now, for all intents and purposes, is a new house. We especially love our sunroom and the exterior siding that completely transformed our house. The quality of the work was excellent and the investment was well worth the fair cost of the project. We highly recommend Home Source by Cawiamca. Patrick & Scott

Ron and his team were extremely reliable, responsive and committed to do a very good job with my home renovations. As a designer, they were able to execute my ideas and designs as well as problem solve with unexpected issues that arose from owning an antique home. Everyone on Rons team is friendly and approachable and take pride in their work!

    D Rich Stone & Chimney
Excellent job of chimney repair. It looks terrific. Damon was very professional, showed up when he said he would, the price seemed reasonable, and he cleaned up the area afterward. He installed scaffolding around the chimney and protected the shingle roof. I would definitely hire him again.

    D.H. Radomski, Inc.
OUTSTANDING WORK! Excellent job with terrific attention to detail. The BEST pricing out of 6 different Builders/Contractors/Home Service Comp that I contacted....they came in under HALF of 2 of the builders contacted. Exemplary workmanship & punctual with respect for the property. Would recommend D. H. Radomski for any type of siding job you have.....you will not be sorry.

I'm not someone given to writing reviews unless there's problems because good work is expected. In this case, I'm making an exception. Everything was outstanding - I couldn't be more pleased. The project started a bit late due to the town permit process but then moved more quickly than projected. We had some minor issues with window and screen supplier components but they handled it all without my involvement. The job is lovely.

    Father and Son Masonry
Went great. Thought the price was a little high comparatively, but they got good ratings on Angie's List, so we went with them. After completion, there was a problem with drainage due to an outdoor shower. Called Drini and he actually came out the next day. He devised a way to correct the issue and did all the work with no added cost to us. He is really a man who stands by his work and takes pride in his work. Would highly recommend him.

Overall the work was good but it was not done well the first time. The was a problem with the roof products they used too - color of shingles was different on some boxes so there is variation.

They were good at the beginning. Unfortunately, towards the end of the project, they became more concerned about getting paid than their quality of work. Money appeared to be more important than service. There were noticeable issues with the work, gaps in the siding, and pallet that was left behind. A screen was damaged during the work process and they never repaired it. They also did not put the house numbers on our home. I made numerous attempts to contact them. It took 3 weeks to even respond to an email. Finally after threatening legal action in May, they responded to and completed the unfinished tasks, except the house numbers. I live an hour an a half away from this property, so I am unable to constantly check on the progress. The job was done in December 2012, and I have received no callbacks, follow-up or feedback to know if the house numbers have yet to be put on our home. Communication seems to be a large problem for this company.

    Denison, G A & Sons
This is a family business run by George Denison. I contacted him two years ago upon the recommendation of a friend for roof repair.  He came out, did the job beautifully, and left me feeling as though I truly got my money's worth.  I contacted Mr. Denison again last year after my home sustained significant damage during Tropical Storm Irene.  He came right out to my house, wrote up a proposal, and went right to work for me. As I found myself deliberating with my insurance company, Mr. Denison stepped right in. I needed my entire house stripped down and repaired. One could imagine the nightmare that I envisioned. However, Mr. Denison spoke with my insurance adjuster, and he performed the necessary (and arduous) legwork to prove the damage and the needed repairs to my house, thereby getting me a much larger compensation from my insurance company. With only minor delays in starting the work (due to the weather), once the coast was clear Mr. Denison and his crew showed up to my house exactly when expected. His step-son was on the job each day, making sure everything was done to my specifications. The men worked professionally and efficiently. There was never any foul language, no loud music, and each day they left my house in impeccable condition. All debris was removed on a daily basis, and any equipment was covered and stored neatly.
The work on my house took a little over 3 weeks. I never once felt as though I was being "taken for a ride." Rather, I felt I was being taken care of.  I would recommend Mr. Denison to ANYONE who would like to have work done on their home.

    345 Stone Masonry
The contract was to build 125? of stone wall in two sections of 108? + 17? with owner supplied wall stone for $7,800 + $200 for a gravel base.  Both John and Ryan as the principals of 345 Stone inspected the owner supplied stone and accepted it as suitable for the stone wall more than 4 months before the start of the project.

However, after signing the contract, but before the start of construction, we agreed to reduce the overall length by 10' from 125' to 115', as 98' + 17'.  At that time Ryan of 345 Stone said there would definitely be enough stone for the project based on the 10' reduction and we would net-out the reduced cost in the final payment.  I was Ok with this arrangement.  But after about ten days into the project Ryan said the it would be short of stone and it needed another 30 yards of stone.  He brought three samples for my approval and I reluctantly agreed to the additional 30 yds of stone.  Thereafter, I paid $603 for 30 yards of stone that was not needed, which is the same amount of excess stone sitting in my yard ? see photo.

I can understand that errors of calculation can occur.   But in this instance I was told by 345 Stone that I had enough stone, both at the start of the project and after the total length was reduced by 10? from 125? to 115?.  Then I was told I needed 30 yards more stone.  So, I want to be reimbursed for the $603 I paid 345 Stone for stone I did not need.  On payment of the $603 345 Stone may have the 30 yds of stone in my yard.   Also, with the reduction of 10' in total wall length I overpaid 345 Stone by $624 for the 10' of wall it did not build.  We discussed this item when the length of the project was changed and I mistakenly overpaid 345 Stone for work it did not perform.    So, I am looking for a total of $1,227 in reimbursement, i.e. $603 + $624, plus related court costs.

Lastly, in the completed job there are voids at the base of the wall where 345 Stone did not place stone, but should have done so.  I have been filing the voids left by 345 Stone.  I am so fed-up with them I will not allow them back on the property.
