He was the worst liar thief and incompetent person I ever met. Did not return calls stole from our home and got our home condemned by the building inspector. The propane leaked several times. We were escorted out of the home until the propane ,heat and water was shut off. Mean while he went to Disney world and the casino with his family after owing us for work he never even started after taking huge deposits. We lost over 25,000 with this crook and its cost us the same to get it repaired. He also baits and switches products with junk that comes with any name you want in sticker packs. We repeatedly called and threatened him and finally got a lawyer and sued him. We won our case but hes a bum that filed bankruptcy. We soon found he has done this many times for many years. So much so he was arrested for falsely forging the Groton Building Inspector signature to rip off a customer. Found guilty ! I will gladly testify if you ever have a problem with this dirtbag. Be warned. He is a thief who already had a cocaine induced heart attack t 35! He was also fired from a propane company for stealing. I have all the documents.

They did a great job and were reasonably priced. They were able to schedule someone the next day so that I wasn't without my kitchen for more than 24 hours. The young men were efficient and friendly and cleaned up after themselves.

This was a great experience. Jeremy and Demetri were punctual, knowledgable, honest, and professional. They explained to me how everything works, what they were doing and why. If I had a question, they seemed very happy to answer it in detail. Very courteous, and left the area nice and clean. This company was also very attentive to my scheduling needs and made it very easy for me. I highly recommend them!

No complaints at all.  He was willing and able to work around the business schedule of my home office.  He kept me informed of his schedule.  He alerted me when choices I made exceeded the agreed upon budget and was able to accommodate adjustments made in mid-stream.

We were extremely pleased with the end result.  The job was finished on time and on budget.  Ed's a good guy that aims to please.  He went to great lengths to ensure the new roof line, windows, siding, and trim matched the original, exactly.  Looking at the house from the outside, you would never know that there had been a room addition.  The sub-contractors were conscientious, pleasant and unobtrusive.  And, they cleaned up after themselves every day.  Yes, there were a few glitches along the way, but Ed was there to smooth them out.  He's easy to talk with, so straightening out any misunderstanding is just a matter of having a rational discussion with him.

water heater stop working and Griswold responded immediately (within an hour!). they removed the old heater and replaced it within 2 hours. Jeremy, the plumber, was exceedingly courteous and professional. He made sure the area was protected and left clean and dry. Can't recommend them enough!

Fred and Cory were punctual and professional. It was apparent right away that they are installers and know their business. The $208 was the cost of lowering and shielding our flue pipes and materials. They only charged me one hour for the labor but I'm pretty sure they spent more than an hour on that project. The routine annual cleaning was under an annual maintenance plan that was in addition to the $208 for moving the flue.
We couldn't be happier with these two guys. We wanted a service contract that was not tied in with the usual oil contract and we got it. I hope they are around for a long time to come.

The service was excellent.  Griswold Plumbing came to our rental property in Norwich even though it is out of the area of their typical service.  I really appreciated Tim Griswold’s coming to Norwich because I trust his work, he has done lots of work at our home in Lyme, and would not have wanted anyone else to do the work.  Tim and his assistant showed up right on time.  They diagnosed the problem which turned out to be a broken drain - the part of the sink drain that moves up and down when you pull the lever.  The necessary parts were on the truck so the work was completed right then.  It took about 45 minutes from beginning to end.  After the drain was fixed Tim explained, to me, what was broken, how it was repaired and showed me that the new lever was functioning properly by pulling on it and filling the sink with water.  The bathroom and sink were left nice and clean.

Greg and his crew bend over backwards to accommodate your plumbing needs and you couldn't ask for a more pleasant group of people to deal with. We recently moved an upstairs bathroom to make room for a new bedroom. The workers (not Greg's) that tore out the old bathroom broke a drain pipe that went unnoticed until Greg and his main man Chris tested the new bath's bathtub drain and discovered water pouring out of the chandelier in our dining room. This happened around the normal quitting time and we fully expected them to call it a day (they had been working since early morning) and come back in the morning to find and fix the leak. Well, that's just not in their nature. Within minutes, they had figured out where the break was (nowhere near the chandelier), cut a hole in the ceiling to drain the water into buckets (rather than letting it continue to run across the dining room ceiling and ruin it), dried up the mess, and began the task of replacing the broken section of pipe. Never once did they complain or try to place the blame for the leak on the culprits that actually broke the pipe. They just had a job to do and they did it, wrapping up at about 10:00 pm! This is the kind of dedication and professionalism that you want, but don't always find, in a service provider. It is just one example, but is typical of all the jobs that Greg has done for us. I could go on, but you get the idea.
