The owner explained everything they planned to do in detail and provided the quote (that included adding a ridge vent and taking care of an issue with my siding). Once the work started the owner was onsite working with his team and ensured that the job was completed perfectly with no issues and on time. ATimberWolf Contracting LLC.Timber did a great job on our house. We had the initial obstacle of the first contractor we hired being unable to complete the job. This is how we came across Timber. He picked up where the other company left off, repairing unsatisfactory work done by the first contractor. His workmanship showed when he had to come up with some creative solutions using the materials available to him. He was a great communicator and completed the job to our satisfaction, within the timeframe we agreed upon, and for a very fair price.- Pam c.

AJS and R LLCOutstanding! I interviewed 5 other siding/roofing companies. I decided that J.S. & R. Roofing/Siding was the one because I felt confident about his explanations and suggestions. Jared came to my home and explained-in detail what he could do -with good suggestions. He and his crew worked most professionally & efficiently. The work was done on time-with the extras thrown in at no extra cost. Hi price was fair and most competitive. In the future when I will need a new roof--I will definitely call Jared--no need to call the others. I would absolutely recommend J.S. & R. LLC for siding/roofing.- Peter C.

AEricsen ContractingI was extremely happy with my new roof and skylight replacements installed by Ericsen Contracting (Eric Petersen and his associate). I had received a number of estimates leading up to this project which varied greatly in price. His estimate was priced competitively and I was initially nervous he would "find more problems" and the final invoice would ratchet up. Instead I found him to trustworthy, reliable, punctual, efficient and there were no surprises in the end. The final invoice was exactly the same as the estimate which was refreshing. The quality of the roof and the work done was high. The house was in order at the end of each day and at the end of the project and our routine throughout was largely uninterrupted. AExteriors of CT LLCI recently hired Exteriors of CT to replace the windows and gutters and install vinyl siding on my house. They did an excellent job. Their rep spent as much time with us as we needed to plan the jobs appropriately. Their pricing was more detailed, and ultimately lower, than others we had quoted making us comfortable we were getting the best value with them. In executing the jobs we were pleased with some of the extra details they included that were not explicitly listed in the contract. Unfortunately for us, there was lots of hidden rot that was uncovered during the process which lead to considerable extra work. This extra work did, of course, result in additional cost but they were reasonable in negotiating these costs. We felt they were quite fair about keeping the additional costs under control. We are very pleased with the final result. I have recommended them to one person considering similar work on their house, and will do so for others.- Thomas H.

ASTRESS FREE SOLUTIONS HOME IMPROVEMENTSHad crew for 5 separate jobs. 1st was replace kitchen ceiling, replace range hood, replace garage side doorway and garage window. 2nd was roof replacement. 3rd was electrical service replacement. 4th was repair of leak into house due to improper installation by previous siding contractor, 5th was sill repairs from termite damage. Mike is a great communicator and I knew exactly where things stood during the entire process. Mike’s crews were all excellent. They are knowledgeable and very safe. I felt that the jobs would be completed as expected, can’t get any better than that. Mike clearly doesn’t want to revisit jobs again, he used good materials and was very well planned. For the exterior work, caulking that previous contractors didn’t use (and eventually caused problems) was applied. Ice and water roof paper was used to cover and protect walls which could potentially have leaking issues. Electrical repair was electrical service change and breaker box replacement.Very professional work and coordination with city inspectors and coordination with utility crews. Roofing was well done including job site cleanliness. Besides to the actual roofing they repaired damaged wood, installed a ridge attic vent, and installed a roof vent for bathroom exhaust. Sill plate was damaged, wall boards had some preliminary damage for about 2 rows. Sill was replaced, lolly column was installed for additional support of carrier beam. Removed vinyl siding was reinstalled correctly and misaligned siding from initial installation was repaired/corrected. Finally his crews of Clive, Kevin, Kyle, Dino, Billy (and more I can’t remember) were great. Professional, safety conscious, friendly and polite. One of the best contractors experiences I’ve had.- Dan B.

Walked us through the status of the job at the end of each day. Kept the job site (our yard) as clean as possible. Finished the work in a timely manner. Overcame any obstacles along the way. AJeff and his team did an outstanding job on our roof. They use high quality materials, warranty their work and are cost competitive. The team tore off our old roof (2 layers) and replaced it with new architectural shingles the next day. They cleaned up each day and were vigilant in chasing down any roofing nails that may have landed in the yard using a magnetic sweeper. They worked with us to get the 2 hot water solar panels decommissioned and removed them from the roof as part of the job. The house looks better than ever and we couldn't be happier with the work. We would use them again and will wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone doing general contracting or roof replacement.

ADaniel replaced a dozen wood casement windows for us with new vinyl clad ones. The windows he replaced were 20 year old ones from when the home addition was constructed. The other windows in the house were replaced about 15 years ago and Daniel was able to almost exactly match those. He provided the best price and his team was quick and efficient. They did a great job and the new windows are perfect.

AArrived on time, crew was fabulous. Did exactly what they said they would do in the time frame promised. Yard was left as clean as they found it. Roof looks fabulous. New gutters with leaf guards were installed by a true master on 4/7/2020. Looking forward to never having to hire someone to clean gutters again. If a house gutter can be considered "beautiful", these meet that criteria.

They had the team work overtime and on weekends in order to accomplish what needed to be done. I was in a real jam before I hired them.
