    NORWICH VETERINARY HOSPITAL
Great! As usual, the quality of their care is unsurpassed! Doc Jo (JoAnne Giel) is the best veterinarian we've ever had. She is thorough, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to her work. She and her staff demonstrate a genuine love for the animals in their care, and are always careful to take the time to explain what they're doing, why they're doing it, and what the options for care are. While veterinary care can be expensive, Doc Jo is aware of the need to contain costs whenever possible and frequently offers a range of services to address the issues without ever compromising the quality of care for the animal. They are very conscientious about routine check-ups and vaccinations and notify us in advance of the need and the due dates. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Giel and her staff. I wouldn't dream of taking my pets anywhere else!

Waiting room is a bit stressful for the cats with dogs also roaming around but that has more to do with owners who think it is acceptable for their dog to walk right up and sniff anything they want. Exam room was great for the cats. They felt comfortable coming out of their boxes on their own. Staff was very friendly and made the cats feel comfortable.

    NORWICH VETERINARY HOSPITAL
I have been bringing my pets to Norwich Veterinary Hospital for the past fourteen years, as my parents did before me, and I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed in the care that we have received there. I don't think that it is possible for a veterinarian to be more caring, or more invested in the well-being of their patients, than Dr. Giel is. She is an outstanding doctor, and a pleasure to work with in caring for our pets. She is always careful to discuss the various options available - with an understanding and respect for a family's financial constraints - making alternative recommendations whenever possible. Dr. Giel and her staff demonstrate a deep concern for the care and condition of our animals, and seem to take great pleasure in their work. I've always found everyone in the office to be very warm, friendly, and welcoming when we arrive. They rarely leave us waiting for very long when we come in for our appointments, and promptly escort us to a clean and well-equipped examination room at the earliest opportunity.
We have had a particularly difficult season with fleas this year, and our pets are highly allergic to their bite. Dr. Giel and her staff have been very helpful in providing the immediate care necessary to alleviate their discomfort, and to work closely with us to develop an on-going plan to address the problem at home. She and her staff are very gentle and caring in the handling of our pets, putting them at ease despite the stress of the circumstances.
I have also been very happy with the general on-going care provided at Norwich Veterinary Hospital. They notify us of any necessary vaccinations or check-ups that are due for each pet, and keep us apprised of any special offers that might pertain to us.
If I were to and quot;complainand quot; about anything, it would be the costs associated with their care. In fairness, I haven't done a comparison to know how they stack up against other providers, but I find that it is almost impossible to get out of there without spending in excess of a hundred dollars (at least) at every visit. This makes it extremely difficult to provide the level of care I would ideally like to give my animals. While they do offer information on various interest-charging credit programs and/or veterinary insurance companies, their policy of full payment at the time of service can be very h****** a family - with the unfortunate result of having to delay care in some circumstances, and sometimes worse - having to deny it altogether. This being said, I would reiterate the fact that they do everything that they can to provide the best possible care and to offer practical suggestions to help us care for our animals in a loving and responsible manner.
I would recommend Dr. Giel and Norwich Veterinary Hospital without reservation to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, highly skilled, and deeply committed veterinarian. I wouldn't want to take my pets anywhere else.

    ALL FRIENDS ANIMAL HOSPITAL
We've seen a variety of vets at All Friends over the past year and have not been disappointed in any of them. Each has understood the issue or appointment need, and explained what they were doing clearly as well as answer any questions we might have. While I don't rate an A for price, I'm very satisfied that they charge a fair price and provide good service for the price. In the past I did go to a vet for some time where it became very apparent that billable services were a thought when they formulated suggestions or a treatment plan. All Friends does not seem to operate like that. Instead they are very open about treatment options of all costs from over the counter to more expensive treatments they would provide.

They're staff is highly responsive, returning calls promptly and seeming happy to help. And as mentioned above, I have great confidence in any of the vets there. I'm very pleased with All Friends Animal Hospital.

    ALL FRIENDS ANIMAL HOSPITAL
It is convenient for me as it is right across the street. I like the way they treat my dog and their responsiveness. They follow up and call me if I have any problem and make sure that I make to my appointments. They have website and they email me my appointments and when I should bring my dog in. I like that. They are pretty good at what they do.

They were professional and compassionate and really cared about the dog. What I thought they did well was just how much they cared about the animal.
