Repairs were done quickly (broken belt) and professionally. Larry explained why belt broke (overloading dryer) to prevent reoccurrence. Larry made sure to call when there were any delays in his arrival.

    Sears Appliance Repair
Dear Michelle, The repairman came on time and spend approximately 25 minutes "observing" the washing machine go through a "quick wash" cycle. That is all he did--"observe." The machine worked while he was there. He said he didn't know why it wasn't working for me, it seems fine. He then charged me over $200 for the visit which I paid by check. As soon as he left, I tried to use the washing machine and it still doesn't spin. So, I just paid $174.41 (with 20% off coupon) for nothing. I am in the exact same situation as I was before I called for the repair. I contacted Sears to see if I could obtain a refund at least for the $74.41. I understood that I would probably have to pay for $99 Trip Fee as he did come out to my house. I was given what I call the "run around" on 4 separate calls to Sears to explain my circumstance. I just received an email message telling me that I will not be receiving any refund at all. Waste of my time and money. Never again.

serviceman arrived about two hours after calling. Diagnosed problem in 15 min. He told me how to put in the required part and explained if I finished the job I would be charged for the service call ($ 129.00) and the cost of the part($50).If he finished the job, witch required defrosting some of the freezer installing part, it be a hour labor. The whole job was about $180,plus tax.

Tech arrived at 8:30.  I tried to talk with the tech when he arrived to review with him the symptoms and what I had done.  He did not want to hear it.  He took some amperage readings with the compressor running, and only made the comment to me that the current draw looked low.   He told me that he could replace the compressor for $700 or $800.  I reluctantly gave him the go ahead since the fridge cost $2300 and was less than 7 years old.  Long story short, after attempting to install a new compressor, he told me he could not repair the fridge because there was a blockage in the cooling system that was caused by a leak in the sealed system.  So after spending $60 for the new relay and $90 for his service call, I was left with a dead refrigerator.
I do not consider myself an expert on refrigeration but I had serious nagging doubts about his work and his conclusions.  If the line were blocked the amperage draw would have been too high.  If the sealed system had a leak, how did the fridge cool as well as it did with the original compressor?  Why did the "new" compressor not look new, and why did it look so different from the part shown in the parts catalog.    It left me with the feeling that the steps he took and the work he did took what was a sick but possibly repairable refrigerator and turned it into an un-repairable piece of junk.  And he would not discuss it any further or answer any of my questions.  I called Jennair to discuss what happened, and it turns out, that by contract, Jennair certified techs, before they declare anything un-repairable,are required to call Jennair and consult with their senior techs.  He did not.
Beyond that, this guy had a bad attitude from the moment he walked in the door.  He seemed irritated and was dismissive, rude.
I would never, ever use them again, and strongly urge others to look elsewhere for appliance repair.  BAD, BAD and expensive experience.

The water dispenser on the freezer door wasn’t working; the water would freeze up due to infrequent use and there would be pressure on the water filter.  The cure ended up being to replace the door with one that had better insulation and could take the water pressure.  The man that came out wasn’t the greatest worker and he wasn’t terribly considerate with the equipment that he was working on.  He would pull big things apart by yanking without really knowing how they were put together.  It was $127 per service call and it took two service calls to repair it.
