Water Heater Repair And Installation reviews in Norwalk

    Controlled Temperatures, Inc
They were extremely professional & respectful of the property & had the job done in approx. 2 & 1/2 hours. They also installed a leak guard so that if there is another leak and water hits the pan on the bottom of the heater, it will automatically shut off. The entire price was $2,250 which included everything; installation, the heater, the leak guard, the removal of the old unit. It took me about 2-3 wks to get an itemized bill for my insurance purposes..

    AKT Installations

This was done as a sub-contractor to Home Depot (who then subbed the job out to 1-800-Heaters, who hired these clowns.)

Dumb & Dumberer arrived at my house more than hour late.

The water heater had a small dent in it and they arranged to give me a $50 credit for that.

They chipped my deck stair bringing the new water heater in.

They dripped rusty water on my carpet taking the old one out ("nah, we don't need a drop-cloth!")

They put rubber marks on the carpet from the under-inflated tires of the dolly ("nah, we don't need a drop-cloth!")

I was able to scrub both out with carpet cleaner (they offered, but by then I did not trust them)

They disconnected my washing machine discharge hose from the drain pipe so that they could pump out the old water heater, and forgot to put it back in when they left, so that we got 1 1/2 inches of water in our basement the next time we did laundry!

I called Home Depot for some consideration, but they put me off to 1-800-Heaters, who said I had to call the installer. (NOTE: The whole idea of using Home Depot was to NOT get this kind of run-around!.)  I eventually got to someone at the installer after a few phone calls with no callback.  They did offer to have somebody come and clean up the basement, but I had already done it by then.  They did refund most of the installation charge.

Louis the owner and the installers Mark and his help did a wonderful job. We were replacing a 25 year  old electric water heater and Lou's Installers ended up coming on the next day. They did  a clean install took out the old heater and cleared up everything after work.

    CLIMATE PARTNERS
The crew was hired as part of a contract with the company that sold the complete solar setup, CT Solar Services.
The installation was done quickly and professionally, with several tips and maintenance guidelines being pointed out while the installation was ongoing.
The two man crew was able to completely install a 90 gallon solar storage tank and all the required pipes and connections as well as install the solar pump and new circulators on the furnace in addition to cleaning and tuning the furnace in about 3.5 hours.
The work was almost done when the company rep for CT Solar Services asked how the pre-heat cycle was going to work.  The Climate Partners guys were unaware of that modification and had to call their office for clarification.  The communication error added about 30 to 45 minutes to the work, but they remained in good spirits throughout.
I would be pleased to work with this company again!

Ralph D Russo Plumbing & Heating
Called 4 plumbers for estimates.  Two never bothered to call me back.  One called the following day with a price that was $300 more than Russo so I went with Russo.  Was very happy with them.  There is always someone in the office to answer the phone so I didn't have to wait around for days wondering if I would get a return call. They came at the appointed date and time.  The 2 plumbers that came were very pleasant and cleaned up afterwords.  Will definitely use them again for any future plumbing issues and would not hesitate to refer them to others.

Ralph D Russo Plumbing & Heating
My water heater shutdown because I had a clog in the fuel line. Russo scheduled a visit, arrived on time and fixed the situation. Even went as far as to explain how to resolve the issue in the future myself. Also discussed and gave me ideas about other issues we were having with plumbing. Pleasant, clean and on time. Price was very reasonable.

    SILK PLUMBING & HEATING INC
Silk was extremely professional and responsive when I called. They came to replace the hot water heater the day after I called. Their technicians arrived exactly on time, completed the work in the time frame they indicated it would take, and other than the new hot water heater, I would never have known they were here. I have used them multiple times over the last several years and have always been extremely pleased.
