    Feldman, Dr. Hal D.
My family and I have treated with many physicians in the Township of Huntington. Dr. Feldman is "exceptionally knowledgeable and talented" while maintaining a caring bedside manner. His outstanding reputation proceeds him. I have and will continue to refer friends, family and coworkers knowing I am providing them the opportunity to have exceptional care. Thank you Dr Feldman! Hospital for Special Surgery
Nursing staff and PA's were beyond excellent. Everyone was nice. The aids varied. Some aids were superior in work ethic and quality of care and some just ok - but none were bad. PT was good with exercises, walking and stairs, but I wasn't really ready to go home to get in and out of bed - PT didn't focus on that at all really and has been really problematical at home. The Education Seminar really didn't prepare enough for challenges of going home after surgery - so that the home could be prepared. As for after surgery it focused on exercises, socks, commodes, and reaching yes. Unfortunately Sleeping needs sitting and laying down needs not focused on enough, other than the purchase of a cushion and toilet seat. The idea of having the education seminar was great, just could help more with the 24 our issues of sleeping or sitting. Hospital was absolutely immaculate. One person was nicer than the next. Not a mean person among the hospital staff I encountered bed side. They did a great job with pain management, with the exception when nurses had to line up to get medicine disbursed, and when a nurse from another floor who was working my floor had to get permission from a superior who was not immediately available, to get meds - the meds were unnecessarily delayed and pain increased. Thee were many exceptional nurses, I'd like to give a shout out to Colleen and to Whitney who were beyond exceptional.

    Wayne Altman MD
If you go on Yelp, there are negative reviews, and it is not true, I have gone to this guy for years. I think people go in and whine a lot. It is not fair. There is nothing that I don't like about him. He took care of my kid when he was in football and broken in bits and pieces, and I needed to have a knee replacement. He doesn't have a good bedside manner, but he is a great doctor. Whenever I have wanted to see him, I have been able to see him within a week, or immediately for an emergency. The wait time is just 10 minutes of your appointed time.

ACTIVE ORTHOPAEDICS & SPORTS MEDICINE PA
It went very well. The doctor is very well versed in sports injuries and was able to identify my problem on the first visit with a just few movements. The great news was that I didn't need surgery (it was a sprained MCL), nor did I have to go to expensive PT. All it required was light exercise and wearing a brace until my knee regained it's strength.

    Steven Robbins MD,FACS
I've been seeing him for about five years. He is very honest and to the point. I am a nurse and that matters. I have seen his care of patients but I don't work with him. He and his staff are wonderful. The girls at the desk are a little crabby. They are punctual but I have waited for an emergency, which I understand. His bedside manner is excellent. He did an injection in my knee, which helps with my knee and the arthritis. I don't want to have knee surgery because it only lasts for ten years. There are 4 or 5 doctors that work in the group and they are a good group.

    Weissberg, Dr. David J
I have no complaints and everything was handled very well. His office is very good. He is busy and I did have to wait in the waiting room for quite awhile, but that is only a minor issue.

    Putterman, Dr Eric
Dr Putterman seemed very knowledgeable in what he was saying and proved to be right on target with his diagnosis and treatment plan. Saw him a second time for a follow up. In addition to providing an accurate diagnosis of the problem and appropriate treatment plan Dr. Putterman was found to be very pleasant in is bedside manner and genuinely caring. A really good physician in my opinion. He is definitely a keeper for my families orthopedic needs.

    ROBERT WEINSHCHENK
Dr. Weinshchenk took the time to examine and x-ray and diagnose my ankle. He really took the time listen and understands. He provided a great explanation of the injury and discussed treatment options. I went to a physician prior to this visit that wrote me a script and sent me on my way. As a side note; he did knee surgery on my about 8 years ago. It was a simple clean effective surgery. One more note: My wife was in a car accident about 15 years ago. He put her ankle back together. She was not suppose to walk, she now runs!!!!

    Unis, Dr. George L
He put both bones in my left calf together which had not only been broken diagonally but were also dislocated. He had to do surgery to take the screws out. I broke my wrist and he set the wrist right as well. He was very nice to me, and I think he is an excellent surgeon.
