    Our move to our new home in a new state went smoothly with MHO movers. The moving team arrived on time for our moving date and handled all of our items with attentive care. They managed to move our large sectional sofa in and out of two challenging apartment locations without a single scratch on the furniture or residence walls! MHO also arrived at the out-of-state destination with all of our belongings in a timely fashion. Friendly team and great service! Moving is stressful, but we felt we were in good hands with MHO. Thank you very much MHO!

    Scheduling the move and getting a certificate of insurance (which they charge $20 for) was unnecessarily cumbersome and took longer than necessary. But it eventually got done. Movers were punctual and finished on time. Fragile items were not damaged except for one corner bookcase that somehow got cracked. Overall, very good service and value. I just wish for more punctuality and more seamless administration from the Stamford franchise.

    We used MHO to for our move. MHO and team wrapped and packed all our our boxes and furniture into pods. They were professional, punctual and took great care with everything. Would highly recommend and would use them again.

    Excellent--three men showed up a few minutes early and started immediately. They took no breaks, worked efficiently and were diligent. Once the truck was filled, they followed me to my new location, a 15 minute drive away. They unloaded, were very careful and it was a very smooth move. There is nothing I can say  that is negative.  They made it painless. I would highly recommend them. Another friend used this com a year or so ago and had given me their name and the same comments.

    We simply wouldn't consider hiring anyone else. The team showed up on time, finished on time, on budget and handled our belongings as if they were their own. I recommend them unreservedly to anyone looking for moving services.

    Got estimates from many movers, some over the phone, some onsite. Got low $1,300 phone estimate from All My Sons, and then asked them to do an onsite estimate--it came out to be one Truck, 5 men, 9 hours, $190 per hour, travel hour, fuel surcharge--$2,094 estimate, total to be based upon actual hours expended. The estimator, Kurt seemed friendly and professional, so I chose them. Gave them the $500 deposit they required. I asked to see the inventory list but they said they could not provide, I let it go. >>><<<< Three days prior to the Wednesday move, got a call from a person named Sam, to confirm, addresses, etc. He said they would not unload my stuff from the truck unless I preauthorize a total estimated charge to my credit card before unloading. I said this was not explained by the estimator--he said it should have been. I said I did not agree, and he said it was not negotiable, a company requirement, and that it was industry practice. I said that's equivalent to holding the customer's stuff hostage. Since it is based upon actual hours, why not just unload and charge actual hours expended. He said that's how they did it, if I did not like it, then I can cancel. I said they were playing hardball--3 days before the move, how can I cancel. I asked to speak to the estimator who had come to the house. <<<>>>> This Kurt then called me and regurgitate what Sam said. I argued that it did not make sense, and not treating customer right. He turned nasty, no longer the nice professional he had been, and said, it is weekend, he would rather play with his daughter than to have argument with me and going over the same things. He said, flippantly, if I did not like it, then I can cancel. This was the second time they had threatened to cancel me, figuring they had me over the barrel since I had to move in three days--this was Sunday, the move was scheduled for Wednesday--how to find another mover?. But I did not like to be threatened and to be held hostage, so I told him to cancel me. I asked for my $500 deposit back, and I also immediately called American Express to put the transaction into dispute. <<<>>> When people are arrogant and nasty even before the move, why bother hire them--what if there was a real problem to be handled? (I ended up hiring another mover the same day, only $50 as a deposit, but since they only took cash, I was not comfortable with that, and the next day I hired Mac/s Moving--no deposit, just a travel fee, not an hourly travel fee, no fuel surcharge, not extra charge for materials--just an hourly charge, or they could do fixed price. They sent 7 men, subsequently reduced to 5 for the offload, and charged me for 6 men, they were flexible as I moved my move date backwards, again and again, as I was not ready with the packing I was doing, and they eventually even helped move part of my things into emergency rented public storage--too much stuff to fit--really pleasant and accommodating--and charged me $2,100--no surprices, no contents held hostage on truck, no deposit required, pay by credit card after move is done.) <<<>>> Bottomline? Stay away; they say they have done thousands of moves--must have been lucrative given their mo, There are plenty of movers out there--a very competitive business--don't fall for these guys--kick them to the curb, let them hold themselves hostage on their truck, with their deposit in hand. Caveat Emptor. .

    This was the most painless, and pleasant moving experience I have ever had!  I seriously cannot say enough about the entire Roadway team!  From start to finish, every person we dealt with was courteous, professional and friendly.  I called to get a quote for the move and worked with a very thorough but efficient gentleman who walked me through the entire process.  Booked our move for Saturday, March 26th.  Movers arrived early and Joel and his team immediately went to work.  We had a couple items that needed to be packed (a large TV, dining chairs, etc.)  They packed everything meticulously - I could literally throw that TV off a bridge and it wouldn't be scratched!  They were in & out within hours and on their way.  The following day I received an email with an itemized inventory including photos of any furniture that had existing marks/scratches (we have a 2-year old :)  I received periodic calls from our driver, Elad, along the way.  As promised, he called 48 hours ahead of his arrival in FL, then 24 hours and then an hour before his actual arrival on April 4th.  Items were unloaded and packed into our storage unit quickly and efficiently.  
    With all the additional packing they had to do, and the fact that our move took 8 days I was expecting to receive some additional charges.  I did not pay a penny more than the quote they originally gave me.  Everything was straightforward and explained thoroughly.  We cannot be more satisfied and have already recommended Roadway to friends!

    It went really well. They were very nice and handled our items and furniture with care. They took care of all our packing which was a big relief for us! We didn't have to lift a finger. Once they finished packing our items. They loaded all our boxes and furniture on the truck. They did a good job packing the truck tightly so nothing was moving. When they arrived at our new house nothing was damaged or broken. They unpacked the truck and placed the items and furniture exactly where we wanted them. I will definitely use them in the future!

    They arrived within the time specified and removed an assortment of junk (old mattress, bags of clothes, garbage, old small appliances etc) quickly and efficiently. The Team was polite and professional, I would definitely hire them again. If I could give them a Triple A +++ I would!
