    I explained to them on the phone the oven was working fine but was getting an error message on self clean cycle and wouldn't run through the cycle. Explained I called GE and was told it was a problem with the electronic door lock verification sensor that needed replacing. The technician showed up and told me it was an error code for the fan. I told them that wasn't true and that I had spoken with GE, I then showed him online it was an error with the door lock. He said the lock must be broken. I showed him that the oven locked just fine and that I had run through trouble-shooting with GE already. He refused to believe me and made him show him that the fan worked fun on a normal convection cycle. He then said ok that he would look into the parts and call me with a quote. Never heard from him again.

    Diagnosing was not simple, but instead of charging me to stay here for an entire wash cycle, Rob suggested that I text him with the codes if the wash cycle did not complete, which I did, and based on that he could order parts. And he texted me after the second visit and repair to check in. Much appreciated.

    Technician came and took a look. Said it would be a new motor and I would be better off buying a new one than getting it repaired. In the meantime it still works and he adjusted it for now so it wouldn't be as noisy. He only charged me the service charge. I appreciate the honest assessment and the handling of the fees.

    not well at all. We paid to have the part overnighted it was Thursday, the part would arrive on Monday. Monday morning I call Best Appliance and he said the part was in and his "man" would be at my house after 4PM. "Man" never showed up. Called Best appliance several times no response. Called Tuesday Am no response. At 11 Am Tues. Best Appliance called and asked if the "guy" ever showed up. I said no. He would call me right back. Called at 3 PM said I was abusing him by calling him and he was not coming to repair refrigerator. I told him to keep the part.

    Fine. First service person said he didn't work on these types of ranges but he did it anyway with help from the office. Second visit a new board was installed. I still don't think the oven temp is right. Estimate was in the first 600s cost in the 400s so that was good.

    Larry returned my call about a broken dishwasher and was very polite. He suggested a few diagnostics to try before he came out and had to charge me. I really appreciated Larry making suggestions with no charge which actually fixed my dish washer. I will definitely use Best Appliance Repair for any appliance repairs I need.

    We moved to Norwalk 8 years ago. Not knowing who to call to repair my 8 yr old refridgerator, I went online to check reviews. Rick was well reviewed plus he's bonded and insured. We're SO glad we called him! He actually talked us through an apparently common repair and didn't charge since it was over the phone. Rick's Appliance Service is now our local "go-to" for service.

    Phenomenal service.
    When I scheduled the service call with Best appliance, Larry instructed me to prepare for the service call by defrosting the refrigerator, which I did.  I had no idea what the problem was, but Larry developed some possibilities during the call and informed me that his associate, Rich, would be handling the service call.
    Rich, arrived on time and was clearly professionally equipped to address just about any issue he might find with the unit.  He was an absolute pleasure to talk to and got right to work on the issue. 
    After finding and replacing the defective part, he showed it to me and explained what the part did, what to expect from the replacement, and how to make sure the problem didn't occur again.  None of this additional expert "assistance", discussion and explanation, was added to the cost of the service which I found to be beyond reasonable - particularly since this was a weekend service call.
    I was so impressed with Rich's' ability to quickly fix, and clearly describe the issue, cause and preventative measures, I felt compelled to write this review after following up with Larry to express my absolute satisfaction two weeks after the service.

    Horrible experience. Was able to replace many parts of my appliance but was not able to fix or diagnose the issue. I am being vague about the appliance because I'm uncomfortable with this getting traced back to me since he was so rude and threatening.

    well! Technician James was very courteous and respectful-called just before he arrived,which I appreciated,also conscientious not to bring snow into the house. Cleaned as he worked and even did extra-wiping out interior of my stove. Everything well explained also
