    SIGEL BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION LLC
John is honest and very knowledgable in many domains of construction. Even more, he tells you when he does not know something. He allowed us to order vinyl planks from a wholesaler rather than forcing us to use his product thereby saving us money. He was very busy when we first called, but we were willing to wait. We are so glad we did because as a small business owner, he works hard to please customers. When you have his attention, you have his full attention until the job is perfect. We have already asked him back for other projects. Would definitely recommend.

We recently bought a house with a "finished" basement. The basement was probably finished in the 80s and had dark paneling and carpeting glued to the floor. The space felt like a cave. We wanted a space that could be a hang out area for the kids and a space where we would like to be too. We got quotes from several contractors including BBB. BBB was the most expensive but what impressed us was that everything was going to be done to code and they wanted to make the end result feel like any other room in our house. That was exactly what we were going for. They scheduled a start date and ended up starting a week earlier than that. We initially said we were going to demo the existing basement ourselves to save some money. However, once we got started we realized it was too big of a job for us. BBB gave us a credit for the work that we did and then did the rest of the demo for us. Every person that came into our house was knowledgable, courteous, answered all of our questions, and did a great job. They showed up every day and worked long hours to get the work done. They even installed some pot lights in our upstairs living room for us. The electrician was texting back and forth with me on Christmas Eve so that we could get that work scheduled as soon as possible to coincide with painters that were there. As with any renovation there were a couple of bumps in the road but manageable and quickly resolved. They finish basements and they have a formula for doing things that they know works. If you want to deviate from that it takes a bit of pushing. They told us an end date and finished 2 weeks earlier than planned. My husband and I could not be happier with the results. I'm sure if we went with another contractor that was cheaper we would not have achieved such great results. The whole family will enjoy this space for many years to come.

The workers did a great job.  When we moved in to the house there was a old mildewy carpet that made my allergies go crazy. They were able to remove it without triggering my sensitive allergies.   The job took about 1 1/2 days and the installers were very nice and considerate.  All in all a painless install.

Ultimately, Kleen Floors did not do the work on my floor but I felt compelled to write a review as the experience was educational and Andy refunded my money, in full, despite having put in a fair amount of time and effort.
Andy and Kleen Floors came in after another flooring company had installed a floating hardwood floor without doing the proper leveling. This other flooring company was kicked out and I sought out a new flooring company to pull up the existing flooring, level the subfloor and reinstall the same engineered hardwood.
Upon pulling up the flooring, Andy recognized immediately that the leveling required would be extensive and brought in a specialist that he had worked with. That specialist also said thate the leveling was too extensive and suggested bringing in a mason. The mason came in and did a preliminary pass at leveling. At that point, Andy came back and was uncomfortable using the existing flooring to do the job and still felt that the leveling was not sufficient to get us the quality floor we were looking for.
While we parted ways with Andy at that point, his guidance and expertise were ultimately accurate. We eventually worked with our general contractor to purchase new flooring material and do additional leveling (all done by one vendor). While Andy was not that vendor (as he and his team were not interested in taking on the extensive leveling), I appreciated his responsiveness and forthrightness throughout the process. As you can imagine, the whole experience was trying for me and for Andy, but he refunded our money in whole and I would recommend his team for friends going down the path of a new flooring installation.

Frank saved my home, literally. I had a terrible roof leak while i was in Florida for the winter and it caused my kitchen and living room to grow mold. Mold was found underneath the tile floor, under the carpet, and all over the windows. He did what he could and at the end of the project everything was either cleaned or replaced. Frank was responsive and very reasonably priced. I would recommend his company since they are a one stop shop, today a lot of business call other people to do their work resulting in higher pricing. I have worked with other companies that don't return phone calls, take advantage of you on pricing, and don't stick to their work, America One earned my future business for any future construction needs. Go America One.

Leo had previously fixed our upstairs bathroom and had done such a terrific job that we asked him to do the first floor bathroom. They came and totally demolished the old bathroom which included taking out an old porcelain tub and tile that was 3/4 up all of the walls and attached with concrete. They rewired a new ceiling light and exhaust fan, along with updating all of the rest of the electrical. We decided to put just a shower in so Leo had to plumb the bathroom for that and the new sink and toilet. A new window was installed, too. Then they put in a ceramic tile floor and tiled the walls and shower. When I wasn't sure which tile to go with Leo patiently went over my options and made wonderful suggestions that in incorporated. We were so happy that Leo and his men were able to complete every aspect of the job: plumbing, electrical, tiling, and painting. They arrived on time and worked long hours. They were very courteous and neat. We were quoted a fair price and there were no hidden surprises. We are absolutely thrilled with the bathroom and would definitely use Leo again!

    Handyman Dan, LLC
From the day  I called him (on references from a Realtor) to the time all work was completed, Dan was on time, very meticulous and extremely accommodating, even when he or I found other-unexpected-things needing repair. He is honest, very competent, and reasonable in price. I recommend him highly.

    REFLECTIONS ON WOOD INC
Reflections on Wood has always provided us with great service. The first time we used them with an empty house and they were able to do the entire house for what I remember was the best price of any service out there. The subsequent times they came back we were always very happy with the service provided.
Finally the last time Reflections on Wood came back over was to repair a mistake I caused that spilled a blue stain all over the floor. I was expecting my error to cost me a lot of money but Nick the owner was fantastic and did the work for $100 or so which included him coming back and forth 3 separate times very late into the evening.
It as been very nice to be able to them. They do a great job always show up on time are very reasonably priced. Best of all if you somehow have a serious incident on your floor after the fact Nick is very helpful to work with when it comes to fixing up your mistake.

Rick arrived to measure my floors, he was punctual but didn't go into much detail during the measuring. I had a good idea of what I wanted done but still felt like I had to drag answers out of him. This is a newly purchased home that was completely empty. I informed Rick that I was waiting until the floors were done to move in, and I would appreciate if we could move as quickly as possible. He stated he would get right back to me with an estimate. Well, 4 days later I finally got a 1 page estimate that wasn't all that informative (no costs were itemizes, etc). Based on the company's reputation I decided to overlook the lag time and went ahead with the work.
About a week later I let the crew in to start removing the carpet and old tile and start the sanding process, but when I returned that night no sanding had been done. Rick was nowhere to be found and another employee told me no other work had been scheduled. I eventually got in touch with Brad, the owner, who said he would take care of it and have the crew work through the weekend to finish. Well, come Sunday only 1 coat of poly had been applied and the tiling process hadn't even been started. I got the runaround for the rest of the week, with bits and pieces of work being done here and there. Despite my repeated requests I received no updates about the schedule or progress that was (or was not) being made.
I was told the project would be finished by Friday (10 days after the start of the carpet removal) but when I showed up at the house Saturday morning the tile transitions were not in place and most of my shoe molding was missing. Also, the tile had not been done to my specifications (an error that could have been avoided if someone had simply called and asked!). I called and got a hold of Brad (who was, disconcertingly, under the impression that the project was completely finished). Here I have to give him some credit, because after coming to the house and seeing the state of things he came back that evening and worked until 11pm installing the transitions and replacing the missing shoe molding by himself. He also offered to replace the tile at no additional cost, which I intend to take him up on once I finally get moved in.
Monday morning I stopped by the shop to pay the balance of the bill (full price, despite the doubled timeline and tile being wrong) and retrieve my keys, only to discover no one knows where my house keys are. I was told they would contact the crew and see if they knew where it was... big shock, I didn't hear back from anyone.
Bottom line: the floors look amazing, they really do quality work, and even though the tile was done wrong it WAS done well. I'm just flabbergasted at how disorganized the whole process was.
