AStatewide Tree & Stump ServiceHighly recommend to anyone looking for tree work on their property. They responded immediately once I sent the request through Angie’s List. John, one of the owners, came by and provided a quote within a day. The entire project was completed the following week. We were very fortunate with the winter weather co-operating. I have asked them to comeback in the Spring for additional work on our yard. I wish I had before photo, but every thing in the photo was covered with brush and trees. APrecision Cutting ServicesTurning to Precision Cutting Services to take down 4 towering oaks (really 5, since one had full-height double trunks) was probably the best decision my wife and I ever made as homeowners. Paul Skerritt came within a day or two to check out our needs, and offered a proposal that was extremely reasonable, costing thousands less than what several other companies were asking. When the Precision Cutting crew and their equipment arrived at our home (promptly at 8 am) they set to work, and other than a lunch break, they worked through the day with remarkable energy, teamwork, care, and skill. By 4 in the afternoon, all the trees had been taken down, the logs had been carefully stacked for removal, and the yard had been cleaned up. The work had been completed in one day, though other tree companies had projected a need for 2 to 3 days to do the same. From start to finish, from Yolanda Skerritt, who was so helpful with the office side of the project, to Paul and every member of his crew as they worked on the site, our experience with Precision Cutting could not have been more satisfying. ADavid, the owner came out and gave us a detailed quote within in 3 days. His crew did some carpentry repair, which was tricky; they rebulit two doghouse windows and replaced some clapboard. They used Sherwin Williams paint - Durations, which has held up great for seven years now. Their work was finished in less than two weeks, and that was almost seven years ago now. He was very polite and even did extra work, like repainted all of the raliings and lights fixtures. Although they are not a cheap company in terms of cost, they make of for in terms of neatness, attention to detail, and in our case the longterm integrity of the work.
