    Pro Painters
Pro Painters is the BEST painting company you could ask for. This was the second time we hired Pro Painters. Jacob and his team are amazing. They are a pleasure to work withextremely efficient, professional and super responsive. The quality of work performed was excellent. We are extremely pleased with their overall performance. I would highly recommend them to anyone. We will definitely hire them again next time.

Carson Richard Kitchen And Bath Designs
We took bids from several companies, and they were the most straight-forward and clear, without any upselling. They showed up on time and continued to work until the job was finished (5 days). They were careful to protect our floors and cleaned up completely every day. The finished job was excellent, and they came back as soon as we called to re-adjust the hot water mix. We strongly recommend this company.

    Pacific Stone & Tile
Very pleased with the job that was done. Only critique would be a slight gap between the backsplash and wall, which had I noticed sooner I am sure they could have corrected with caulk or pushing backsplash closer. It is hardly noticeable. Everybody that I dealt with was extremely friendly. I am very happy with the counter top.

    Buckland Home Contractor
Kurt is a good, hard worker and he did a professional job. However, since he was involved in a large project out of state, we had to wait about a month before he got to our project. He did stay in touch with us during that time, but perhaps he may have overbooked himself. Luckily, due to the time of the year, the project was not an emergency, so we could wait for him to do the work.

Carson Richard Kitchen And Bath Designs
Fantastic as you can tell from my rating! They were very professional and were on the job when they said they would be and finished in a timely manner. They were very helpful to me in making decisions that I couldn't get together. Family friendly and did the job as if it was being done for themselves. I highly recommend Carson Richard Kitchen and Bath. If you are looking for a professional job and one done on time this is the place to go to.

    Express Paint & Decoration LLC
Excellent job.  I have previously done all of the painting in the house but was ready for someone else to do the work, plus I really don't like painting ceilings.  Contractor came in while we were away on vacation.  No mess or issues when we returned.  As if he was never here and the work was done!  Trustworthy

All went well. I'm very satisfied with the end result but there's more to it than that. First off was not cheap but cheap was not what I wanted as cheap is what made the kitchen the disaster it was before Carson Richard started work. And everything money-wise was quoted upfront and best of all inclusive of EVERYTHING. And 'Everything' including all necessary upgrades that other quoters don't include in their 'initial' quotes--like necessary electrical work and sheet rock and ceiling work--as well as the basic necessities like the dumpster you're gonna need to haul all your old stuff and debris away. One of the reason it took me so long to find anybody to work on this house is I could never either get a TOTAL price up front ($blah blah thou 'to start') where I got a clue what the end result would look like. Or a price that included the entire project ("no that's just for the cabinets" "no that doesn't include the fancy floor upgrade I had in mind and talked to you about") or any kind of plan period. Sorry but I don't like being told $20Gs plus when I'm not given a clue what's included and what the kitchen's going to look like like when finished. Carson Richard had it all down in print-out--including a visual of what the kitchen would like like after the work was done, which it did-- and the end result was exactly what was quoted and how it was planned to look. And I'd say the end result added the cost and then some to the value of this then (but not now) outdated suburban split-level ranch. Some more details that may interest you are as follows. Within a couple of days of my initial call the wheels were in motion. Never once did Rich or Joe who came out to look at the job use the words "nightmare" or "disaster" as prior visitors did. All the crews involved came and went as planned and on time. All involved always kept in mind that an inquisitive 84-year-old woman and her fiery long-haired Chihauhau would be in the house nearly all the time while they worked (and I was away at work) and not only tolerated but actually entertained the two to where in her mind's eye she wasn't inconvenienced that the part of the house she's spend to bulk of her time in was being totally stripped down and inaccessible during the month or so the project took. Again another of those little things that make me confident I definitely got my money's worth. And once again, no surprises. I know of one guy who's kitchen was done--by one of the same guys I had spoke to--a year ago and is still getting bills from Lowe's and the dumpster companies (who are not the Boys Scouts, BTW). Stuff that he thought was included in his bill. So bottom line as far as price: don't expect cheap, you may be quoted more than you had in mind to pay. BUT and this is will get every dollar's worth of the quote and there will be NO surprises along the way or in the end. And Nicole, Joe, Rich, Tom and the rest are some of the nicest, honest and coolest people you could ever hope to deal with and they did think of everything from beginning to end (i.e. putting down boards in the kitchen so all'd be safe in the time before they could fit the job into their schedule--yes the flooring was THAT bad, but it beautiful now!). Again it's a business to them but a business that they got a lot of passion for and is more important to them than the paycheck. I know I was beyond impressed with the end result. In fact I can't wait to have them back when the budget allows to improve the one-and-a-half baths I got here. Find a winner you stick with it and I intend to. Definitely check out Carson Richard Kitchen and Bath if you got a house that needs saving. They saved mine.

    Eastern CT Residential
At the start of it I kept trying to keep an open mind to how they were doing things but they came and went without communication. The end of day was a big curiosity... some people work until later hours but they'd leave and I'd not know when they were coming back. I'd left my days pretty empty and this took about a week or so. They didn't pull a permit for the work where they suspended my house with scaffolding and took out a corner of my house (about 12 linear feet) and cut all the wood out and replaced it with concrete. But, in the process of demolition, they cut electrical wires and they ended up breaking the water main coming into my house that goes through the concrete floor. They fixed it but it's still leaking and that's one of the primary issues that I'm trying to get resolved. They came and went and there were parts of the house that I had to go back and seal up with foam because they ran out materials and instead of getting more supplies they left it to me. There were quite a number of issues but the biggest one is that, while trying to get a hold of the owner I could not get a response and could not even leave him a voicemail as his inbox was not set up.
