APerfectView Remodeling LLCPerfect View (and Lou's team) did a great job start to finish on our fairly extensive remodel. His team turned three separate rooms (Kitchen / Living Room / Dining Room) into one big open concept modern kitchen-living-dining room combination. This included new sky-lights, exterior doors, and almost 1,600 sq-ft of new flooring. The job started and finished on-time, and the team cleaned up every day after they were finished. Lou and his team did a number of things through the project to make sure that all would go smoothly (including leaving a generator here after the hurricane knocked out power for a week). AGove Restoration LLCOutstanding! Gove Restoration is an outstanding contractor. From the initial estimate, through construction and the final walk through, Adam Gove and his team operate as true professionals. Their knowledge of the industry, meticulous attention to detail and commitment to customer service is unmatched. We hired Gove Restoration to make our 1st floor enclosed porch and 2nd floor open-air porch in our circa 1757 home structurally sound, stable and usable. The foundation, walls, floor and ceiling suffered considerable rot and were on the verge of collapsing from water damage through the years caused by incorrectly placed gutters (which they also fixed). The process was straightforward and top-notch. Adam was on the job site constantly. Any concerns or questions throughout the process were addressed immediately and issues were resolved quickly and thoughtfully with our budget in mind. Adam’s crew are all well experienced in their trade, are courteous, and their workmanship is excellent. Gove Restoration made a project that I was dreading remarkably pleasant and stress-free. We are incredibly happy with how the double porch turned out. Thank you for turning a dilapidated, unusable space into a safe, functioning area my family and I now enjoy daily. My only regret is not using Gove Restoration sooner! I look forward to our next project together!- KIMBERLY M.

AGibson Cellar Door and WindowI am exceptionally happy with the work of Gibson Cellar Door and Window. I had a new hatchway door, basement door, and basement windows installed. I was quite please that they agreed to install the glass block windows that I wanted - other companies wouldn't. Unfortunately there were delays caused by COVID, but they installed the windows and hatchway door while waiting for the interior basement door to be delivered. Once the interior door arrived, it was installed even after the snowstorm the night before - I was expecting them to reschedule. They went above and beyond to get the interior door install, and did a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.- Rita B.

ASensible Home ProductsBest experience, ever. In September a storm had damaged and pulled off vinyl siding on our home, I had never filed a claim on our homeowners before and had no idea what to expect. Filed the claim online and then started search for a siding company. Jeremy responded quickly, was very personable and explained the process that would take place with the insurance company and how he would help to get the insurance company to do the right thing and cover our entire siding replacement as the siding we had was old and could not be matched, he was spot on. Jeremy even spoke to our adjuster and came to our house to inspect the damage with the adjuster and advocate for us. He wasn’t pushy or trying to get us to sign a contract. I’ve always been told you should get at least 3 estimates so I did. We went with Sensible Home Products for many reasons; quality of previous jobs completed, Jeremy’s passion and insight on how to make our home look beautiful, his persistent efforts in dealing with our insurance company, and we also loved that all the work was done by his own guys and not contracted out. Jeremy’s crew started on time each day, were extremely polite, very proficient and did incredible work. At the end of each day things were clean and neat. The workers treated our home as if it were their own, a rarity these days. Jeremy called or stopped by almost everyday to check in with his crew and us to make sure we were happy with the work being done. Our home came out beautiful, we could not have asked for better quality workmanship. Jeremy delivered top end craftsmanship work and overall experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Jeremy to anyone looking for work done on their home!- Jeff O.

AExteriors of CT LLCExteriors of CT recently replaced the 40-year-old windows in our colonial home. It’s difficult to imagine someone tearing out over twenty sash windows, two large picture windows, a kitchen window, and a French door without ruining the siding, destroying the interior trim, and generally making a mess of things. Not a lick of wood, hardware, or any material remained on site when they finished. The crew applied their many years of experience to the project, setting the new windows, insulating, and then silicone caulking. Really, for the multiple quotes I received, this project was so reasonable my spouse took me to Block Island on the savings. Great work. Fair price. Mostly, though, we felt cared for during the job. They know what they’re doing and they are kind in their work. Recommend without hesitation.- David O.

He carefully considered the request for work and made very good suggestions for product and durability, understanding the natural elements the product would have to withstand. The job was fulfilled by one of Adam's door specialists. The workmanship was outstanding and the attention to detail was impressive. Adam checked in on the job periodically, making sure his craftsman had what he needed and making sure I was pleased with the work and answering any questions I might have. Gove restoration is my first choice for all future home repair/renovation projects. He is timely, considerate, attentive to detail, estimates are spot on, no surprises (indicative of the fact he knows what he's doing), and his craftsman are excellent. AProfessional, talented, and conscientious, Sensible Home Products experts surpassed our expectations when Jeremy and his team installed our solid core siding in May. They used time efficiently, informed us at the start of and at the end of the workday about our project, and kept us informed of the progression of our siding installation all within the challenging confines of the Coronavirus pandemic. We’ll be asking Jeremy and his expert team to assist us again in the future and we highly recommend Sensible Home Products for anyone considering home improvements. Our siding has now been tested by wind, pounding rain, and a 20” snowfall. Our home stayed cooler in the Summer, it’s warmer this Winter, and starting in May 2020, is also much quieter, keeping the everyday noise of activity in our neighborhood outside. AThese guys are amazing! Incredible work ethic. We were blown off by a contractor to install cabinets that already had been delivered to our home. I called Loja construction, Wilman and his team came out the next hour gave us a great price and started work the next day. The worked from 7am-9pm then came back another day from 7am-7pm. They are work horse, they really want to get the job done right and quickly. They do not mess around. They even custom made a base for our farm sink at no extra cost because they wanted make it as strong as possible for us. Any little extra we asked for they did without hesitation. I really have never experienced such great service. These guys are outstanding!! They hadn't work with the cabinets we had ordered before but that didn't stop them from doing a fantastic job. They did extra customizing to make them work beautifully in our kitchen. They even replaced part of the plumbing for us because they thought we might have a problem in the future. I am so grateful to Angie's list for helping me find them. They really saved the day for us! Loja is awesome!!

AI am very happy with the work that was done. Corey took the time to find out the traffic level in my home and my needs before installing the floor. Because of that he suggested a different flooring, explaining the difference between my first choice and his suggestion and what the outcome could be. I am very glad that I did not go with my original choice! I have had this floor for two years now and It still looks great. I am pleased with the way that he staggered the seems of the flooring boards, and I appreciate his attention to detail. The workmanship has stood the test of time and a lot of traffic over the floor. The durability and beauty of the floor was everything Corey said it would be even after two years and a lot of "episodes". I would highly recommend him if you were considering to install flooring!

ATheir design services were exceptional. After viewing our bathrooms they came up with several options they thought would work for us which were spot on. They also worked with us on a division of work, (we did demo, electrical and painting). Their work was professionally done, they suggested some modifications while work was ongoing and accommodated some minor changes we wanted. All in all good experience. They are not the cheapest contractor you will find however the old saying rings true, you get what you pay for.
