    Chatham Auto Detailing
    I have been detailing my own vehicles for over 10 years now. My schedule did not allow time to detail the interior. Chatham Auto Detailing did an excellent job. I will be using their services again. I have already recommended Chatham Auto Detailing to my girlfriend, and she will be having her car detailed as well.

    I'm on a first name basis with them. They are excellent. Every time my daughter smashes up a car, we are there. Everything is in writing and everything is quoted. They try to work with me money-wise on the best price for getting what we need done. They actually scoured the area for used parts for the car because it is an old car. He was great with it. They have also come to the house a couple of times to tow away cars. They are great. There is nobody named Andy's there, which I thought was very funny.

    The work was all done in a timely fashion.  I was given a loaner car since it was going to take all day.  i returned the loaner car the next morning.
    All work was done as discussed.  I knew the Outback needed a bunch of work and the service people explained everything clearly.  There were some additional repairs that they recommended but I chose not to do them.  The service person did not pressure me in any way.
    I have dealt with this Subaru dealer for two years (4 visits) and have always found them to be very fair and honest.
    I think they have fair prices.  The only reason I rated "price" a "B" was for the simple fact that one can always find an independent shop who will do the work for less.
    I chose my auto service to be from a dealer since i feel that, in the long term, it is more reliable.

    I believe it was free of charge for that service. I've had no problems with them. They did what they're supposed to do. They were on time, honest and they don't try to get me for stuff that don't need to be fixed.

    Mavis Discount Tire
    I find one of the best tools available through Mavis is that you can go on line, shop for tires and or services and schedule it without having to wait for the store to open to speak to someone.
    This is what I did for my daughters 2008 Subaru Impreza.
    The car has over 120,000 miles on it and I did not want to spend a small fortune on some high end tires. It is driven 15 miles to her job, or 20 miles to her boyfriends.  After looking at the reviews and the prices I decised on a knock off Japanese tire that had a buy 3 get 1 free sale. they were only rated for 25,000 miles but I figured we wouldn't be keeping the car much past the fall or early winter of this year.
    I put them in the cart, added installation, balancing, and tire disposal ( no hidden charges ) It ended up costing around $375.00 . So I paid for them online with my CC and scedualled to have them installed two days later.
    When I arrived the Sales Manager was very helpful and confirmed that the tires were available, they could squeeze in the oil change,  and I could pick up the car a few hours later. ( this was by my choice because we had to run some errands )
    Before I left , however, he asked me about why I chose those tires and what kind of driving she would be doing, how much longer we would be keeping the car etc. So I thought to myself it comes.... the " someone just cancelled a higher priced tire" or the " Just because I like you special "  Well I couldn't have been more wrong. Steve looked at the tires I purchased and looked through his inventory and offered me for all season Bridgestone tires for the same price. Steve said the knock off tires would be ok but if I did decide to keep the car through the winter could be in trouble. He also offered me a discount on the alighnment and oil change if I would do it all today.
    Mavis could have sold me some tires and I may or may not have ever come back, Instead Steve made me a loyal customer.
    I hope this was helpful.  I did also go on Costco, and Town Fair Tires before making my choice.

    I have been going to auto technic for many years. Rob has always been very professional and knowledgeable.He never tries to do work that is not necessary. I have never had any issue with any of the work done on my car.

    I just stopped by to have them check my tire pressure. They always have me in and out as fast as they can and I feel they are very honest. This past summer when my car had a bigger problem they gave me a loaner for a few days without question.

    I will NEVER trust this company with my car again. The mechanic and owner, Dimitri, did some work in the dash that was causing my car to have trouble starting, specifically the ignition switch- I paid nearly $600. The work was sloppy and the problem continued intermittently. Recently, the vehicle wouldn't start again and after taking the car back, Dimitri told me that there was nothing wrong with my vehicle and told me to pick it up. Of course, he charged me $95 for a diagnostic fee. Less than 4 days later I had the same starting issue, which he told me was a fuel pump problem- for this, he wanted me to pay $822 +tax. Partially because the cost for the work was too high, and also because I wasn't sure how much this man really knew what he was talking about. I decided to take my car to another shop- not before having a heated discussion about why I did not plan on paying him another $95 diagnostic fee. At the new shop, I was told that my issue was with the main relay and the ignition switch- NOT THE FUEL PUMP. I already had the ignition switch done a few months back- turns out Dimitri installed a used, probably junk yard part (of course he charged me for a brand new, supposedly original part). The used part is probably a part of the reason that my problem continued. I'm mostly angry, because Im now getting that ignition switch problem fixed AND the main relay for less than $400 right down the road from Affordable Automotive. Dimitri is a RIP-OFF artist, and deserves to be put out of business.

    Honda of Danbury
    My family loves the minivan that we purchased from Honda of Danbury. It runs great, performs well in the ever-changing New England weather, and has been so reliable. If anyone ever wonders whether or not to get the seat heater options, get them. Long rides can be tough on my back, and the seat heaters keep all my back muscles nice and loose. What a great option!
