    Thoughtful, attentive care. Great communicating what he was doing and it's significance. Don't be put off for a second by the slighted dated equipment, the dentists took great care of me and that's the important part.

    I've always been terrified of dentists and didn't go for so many years I couldn't remember when the last time I went. Because I said so many positive things said about this doctor I decided to take a chance well I am so glad I did . This dentist is amazing I'm almost scared to tell you how amazing he is because it's like my little secret . The staff is incredible the dentist is knowledgeable friendly understands people like me who are terrified of dentist. I told everybody how wonderful he is .

    Our entire family has been patients of D'Andrea & Pantera DMD for over 10 years.  This office is modern, up-to-date and all personnel are friendly and communicate very effectively. Both doctors are very skillful with their procedures and also communicate the discovery of my oral health condition. They both show compassion and concern with immediate and long term care with my teeth and gums.  I have had different dental hygienists in their practice clean my teeth  - all have been wonderful in technique and demeanor.  Their office staff is top-notch and appointment reminders are communicated via text messaging in days before the scheduled appointment. This is the reminder option we chose which works well in our life style.  I would highly recommend this friendly, caring and professional dental office.

    Everything went very well with the root canal. I was afraid it would be painful, but it was not perhaps because he told me what he was going to do, and what I would feel, at every step of the procedure. The hour in the chair went very quickly also. He even called me the following day to see how I was feeling and if I had any post-procedure pain. What doctor does that in 2016? Truly a dentist concerned about his patients.

    Overall a positive experience, but I went in expecting to pay one amount and the total ended up being more. The hygienist gave me some optional treatments and checks, but it could have been made clearer to me ahead of time how much those extras would cost.

    Got a call from the office to set up an appointment.  They also provided me with reminder phone call.  Got a dental cleaning, which was an additional expense.  However, they had informed me of this during the initial phone call.  The service was performed well with visible improvement in the whiteness of my smile :)

    The service went great. The waiting area is great. It is modern, clean, and with coffee and water. It is very comfortable. The staffs are wonderful. They always remember my name. They greet people that come in.

    Called Dr. Kaplan's office just before they were leaving last week. I had a bad fall, my front tooth got cracked. He stayed late till I got there and did a beautiful job patching the tooth so I could go to work the next day. I went back the afternoon and he got it ready for a cap, which he just finished today. From the temporary fix to the final cap everything looked great. He was the only Dr. I have ever had who put in so much extra effort and I really appreciate it!

    I went to Dr. Pinkert's office for 1.5 years, choosing them
    based on the convenient location near the Yale campus. I've never had any
    serious dental problems, but a number of silver fillings in my back teeth since
    I was a kid. At my first visit to Dr. Pinkert, I was told that one of my
    fillings needed replacement, and of course I had it done. This led to
    sensitivity in that tooth that persisted for several months, which I don't
    think is the fault of Dr. Pinkert. Though this was bothersome, there were no problems
    attributable to the dentist yet. The next time I went in for my regular
    cleaning, I was told that another filling had a gap ("margin") and
    needed to be replaced. This time, I didn't want to simply agree, given the
    discomfort of the previous year, and also my skepticism that two 30-year-old
    fillings would suddenly go bad within one year of one another. So, I got a
    second opinion from an independent dentist, who said that the filling in
    question was fine. Now, there's no way to tell whether Dr. Pinkert has superior
    powers to detect failing fillings or whether this is a scam to get insurance
    money, but I'm certainly not going to this office again.

    I went to see  Dr. Kaplan two weeks ago. He explained everything I needed to fix my smile- no lecturing, took care of the pain I was in, and has figured out how to get me back the smile I always wanted. His office  is "State of the Art"- brand new equipment, digital x-rays on the TV screen, really beautifully decorated- very soothing. The staff was extremely helpful, and very friendly. They helped me with my insurance issues, as well figuring a very doable payment plan over 6 months, 0% interest card.

    I was in a lot of pain when I first arrived- I have really neglected myself because of my fear of the dentist. No more- Dr. Kaplan really put me at ease- took me out of pain first, then gave me a "road map" to fix my teeth which I am well on my way to.

    Sue- the hygienist-did a great job- best cleaning I have ever had- thorough but very gentle. Afterword she took me to a second room and I did a 15 minute whitening that really worked great- very cool!

    I could not be more impressed with how I have been treated at this office, and plan to send my kids, as well as parents to go there as patients!
