    My experience
    dealing with Doug Theroux of Theroux Auto Body & Collision has
    been very positive. From the time of the accident to the completion of the repair took a period of six weeks.
    Mr. Theroux provides a level of customer service which is rare these
    days. He took time to explain why and how my automobile would be
    repaired and returned to me in a safe operating condition. Once a
    week, we would go into the shop floor and review the work completed
    and the remaining work to be done. The shop was well lit and clutter
    free. The office area was neat, clean and contained many Thank You
    notes from past customers. His employees were always friendly.
    Doug Theroux kept me informed in advance about any delays affecting the completion of the
    repair. When the car was released to me, the job truly was complete.
    There was no need to return to the shop for additional work.

    Truly, a class act! The reviews on Angie's list got me in the door, but my actual meeting with Doug Theroux was the reason I chose his shop to do my auto body work.
    When I explained that the other driver (a teenager) was paying directly, Doug went out of his way to minimize cost without compromising quality. For instance, he called the car manufacturer for a discount and saved $130 on parts. (No other body shop estimate passed on those savings.) A rental car arranged through him was priced lower than I could get on my own. He also spent a lot of time with me explaining why and how the work would be done.
    When I got my car back, the work he and his crew did was absolutely perfect. And, to my surprise, they had also buffed out some scuffs in the paint (caused by me clearing off snow), touched up a few nicks around the car, straightened my bent license plate, and they had washed it and waxed it.
    I always dread dealing with repairs and purchases where there's a chance I can be taken advantage of -- but I never felt that way at
    Theroux Auto Body. They're competent, honest, friendly, and very nice people.

    Kelly's was extremely professional and helpful. Although they are not a State Farm Provider, they dealt and negotiated with the adjuster for me. They ordered the parts (the car was drivable) and then called me in. I had some rental coverage. The only issue was that he assumed that I had more coverage than I did and he put my car on lower priority while his technicians were out on vacation. So, things took way, way much longer than promised (promised 2-3 weeks took 5+). BUT he covered the extra rental costs and they did an incredible job. Looks like new and is solid. I am very pleased. There were no excuses given for the lateness, they took full responsibility. Any business (or person) who is willing to say "oops-we really blew it" is tops in my book. There are so few of them.

    IIt was a pleasure dealing with Doug and his team at Theroux Auto Body.  After a fender-bender, my front bumper needed to be replaced, along with a few interior pieces.  I had never been in a car accident before, and Doug was extremely helpful in helping me have my inspection done for my insurance and in taking care of just about everything through this process.  They responded right away to my inquiry sent through Angie's List and helped to set up a rental car for me to use while my car was being repaired; the rental was there to meet me when I dropped my car off with them, and they even returned it for me when my car was ready.  I'm confident that good parts were ordered to fix my car and replace what was damaged, and my car now looks even better than it did before my accident thanks to the excellent job they did detailing and cleaning it up!  Many thanks to Theroux Auto for their excellent and friendly service!  Would absolutely take my car here again if I needed any future repairs.

    I took my 2006 Audi in to have the fender and trunk lid repainted because of two separate spots of flaking paint and rust. I'm paying out of pocket--not using insurance--since its not an accident. They emailed me two quotes, one for ~$1700 to grind off the corrosion and repaint the old parts, another for about $2200 to get a new trunk lid instead of trying to repair the old. Total time estimated at 4-5 business days for both options.
    I opted for the more expensive replacement of parts, figuring it would last longer and hidden rust would be less likely to return.
    They call you every few days to give updates. First, the secretary calls to tell me they have already started work on the car but the real cost for a new trunk lid would bring the total to about $2600, and it would take longer. I asked to speak with the manager for an explanation, and she tells me he is too busy to come to the phone. She explains that the price they estimated was from some internal database for parts and the real cost of the new trunk lid was more. Fine, I agree. The car is already apart anyway.
    The secretary calls again a day later telling me she is very sorry, but the parts are actually more expensive and the repair will take longer. I ask to speak to her manager. He doesn't call me back, but I was able to call and get him on the phone. He explains that he can't find the right trunk lid, since mine is a and quot;rareand quot; model of A4. A new lid would cost ~$1500 from Audi and he is having trouble finding a used part through his usual supplier. I eventually asked him to take another look at repairing the existing parts, and he said he could do it, but the total cost would be about $50 less than the second quote I already agreed to. Fine.
    I called Shokan Audi (an dismantler in Westchester) and asked if they had the part, and by the end of the day they have exactly the right used part, and including shipping it would be less than the original price quoted for a replacement trunk lid. NHAB's manager didn't like this idea, because he thought he would have to spend extra time repairing the replacement used part anyway. So they repaired the old trunk lid.
    In the end, I got the car back after twice the time they originally estimated. The original parts were repaired and repainted, for %50 more than originally estimated. The new paint looks good, and the actual quality of workmanship seems good. I don't think I'd use them again or recommend them after all this aggravation.

    Both jobs were done poorly. In fact, for the deer strike, we had to have them redo the paint job because there were so many streaks and blemishes. Additionally, they took MONTHS to get the work completed. I would never use these guys again.

    Ended up at Five Star after being referred to them by my car dealership.  The entire set up was quick, as they arranged for the towing and pickup and helped walk through the insurance and claims process after the accident.  Initially, they provided what I can only describe as the smoothest post-accident support of an auto repair shop.  Within just a couple hours after my accident, the car was in their lot getting assessed and I was all set up to go in a rental also arranged by them.  The work that was completed was professional and has withstood 8 months since the repair.  However, it took WAY too long for this repair to be done.  Understood that they had a lot of business at the time do to many ice related accidents, but the work took 3-4 weeks for repair, with little remorse or effort to speed things up.  Had I known from the onset it would have taken this long (originally was told 1-2 weeks), I'd have arranged for another location.  However, the work was done well and they worked seamlessly within my insurance overage to handle it, and for that I am grateful.

    Doug and his team are very professional and friendly.  We were going on vacation and needed the SUV. They had to order a replacement rear bumper, replace it and repair other damage I incurred as a result of backing into a tree (pretty hard!).  They got the work done in 24 hours and it looked like it had just come off the showroom floor!  Excellent work and I have and will recommend them to friends.

    It could not have gone better. I received an estimate immediately. Doug arranged to have a rental car delivered to my home and he and the Enterprise driver took my car into the shop. The repairs were done on time and the car was returned to me at my home. When I got it back I noted that Doug had not only fixed the required repairs, but he had also ordered a chrome strip to repair one with an inexplicable ding in it on the side of the car and he also had repaired scrapes to my other bumper as well. The car was washed, waxed and in perfect condition when it was returned. No one gives this type of service, and it was all done with a smile. I highly recommend this company.

    Well for a person living in w. Haven CT the commute was 45 min. to the repair shop.  Doug T. was kind enough to return the rental car for me to the rental company so that I would not have that long commute.  When I called the shop the owner was very accommodating to help me understand the procedure of what he was going to do, I was a little nerveous because this was all new to me.  I haven't had to deal with repair of a car in over 10 years.  Overall I think it went well.  Mr. Theroux was professional, courteous and very respectful.           U do understand the work was not performed at my home.
