Carson Richard Kitchen And Bath Designs
It's absolutely beautiful. I just love working with these people. They worked on the bathroom upstairs. He told me back in 2012 that I would need a new sub-floor.  They did the bathroom upstairs, we needed a new sub-floor. That is the floor under the regular floor. Well, it got worse and I called him back  and what they did was, this is an old house, they had to rip everything up. They had to put in a new sub-floor. They gutted the bathroom and put in new drywall, a new ceiling, a new ceiling fan, new fixtures, granite counter, beautiful cabinets and tile floor. When they were doing that job, I asked them if they thought if the bathroom downstairs would have the same problem and they said they didn't think so but, they would look at it. What they found out is that it actually  had a much bigger problem. So they had to rip up that floor and install a new sub-floor and a tile floor. I bought a new toilet and...but, the walls down there were drywall already, that bathroom had been remodeled before. I needed some lighting changes, the new tile floor, the new sub-floor and the toilet. From there, we have an enclosed cellar stairway that goes off of our porch that goes to the underground. There's a door that goes into the basement and so, when they were doing the work in the bathroom; they realized, I told them to be careful with the stairs because; they had been there since the house had been built. We ended up putting in all new stairs and a new cement platform so that I could get wider stairs and were more stable. That was a huge job. Then, off the back porch, I had a little stoop that was just  something that someone just put in real quick and it was going. So, they built a new stoop that has that stuff that doesn't rot and nice white railing.

I said, since they were here, I might as well get them to do the pantry upstairs. The pantry upstairs was the same pantry that did back in 2012. The only thing is that I didn't have to have the walls replaced. The walls and the ceiling stayed, everything else went. It's absolutely beautiful.

They used the white railing out of the stuff that doesn't rot. It's a composite railing.

They started working in August until right up to Christmas.  They started in around January to February and started up big time. It should be ended in a day or two coming up to Easter week.

    Handyman Connection- Hartford
Handyman Connection was extremely quick to respond to my initial request from Home Advisor. Walt from Handyman Connection was our contractor for this job. He was prompt, courteous, neat and did top notch work. He was also very flexible and went out of his way to help us resolve a variance issue on our property. We will definitely request his services in the future.

    SPANO CONSTRUCTION LLC
My house was built in 1767 and needed EVERYTHING repaired and/or replaced. The company laid down new floors, installed ceiling lights, re-wired frayed wiring in the basement and (that was a nightmare of a job, tracing all the old wiring!). They rebuilt 2 bathrooms, including installation of a dormer for a shower and laying down marble tile. These men put in new plumbing, and CORRECTED the doors and windows that were put in by another company They extended the garage (I can finally park in my garage -no need to remove the snow from the car!!!) They put new roofs on the house, apartment, garage and shed. They removed an old behemoth heater and properly disposed of the asbestos. They removed wallpaper, hung new wallpaper and painted, painted, painted. They organized heavy items and brought them to the basement. They hung pictures for me. They even mowed the lawn for me and did snow removal in the winter. There isn't anything they can't/wont do. These men work above and beyond the call of duty. They are professionals, concise, and pay attention to detail. The work took over a year, and because of their efforts, I expect this house will last another 200 years. These men are passionate about their work and if you ever need construction done, this is the company to contact.

Everything was okay. They suggested only one way to do that and I didn’t had enough fund for that, if they would have suggested another, more simpler option, it would have been better.
