I had an issue with the walls in my crawl space. The wall was cracked and lifted during the winter. Water leaked in every time it rained. I called numerous companies to get a quote on fixing the problem. Most wanted to control the water by digging a trench drain on the inside of the foundation and direct the water to a sump well and pump it outside. Provider name locked. was the only company that wanted to really fix the problem by repairing the outside of the foundation walls and Provider name locked. new drain tiles.
The quote was the highest from all the companies that wanted to fix the problem. Mr. Provider name locked. was the only one who was interested in fixing the problem and not controlling the water issue. He was very honest as to what needed to be done. I signed a contract in June and was contacted a few days later to say that I would be put on the schedule and that it may take a while until I heard back from them. I had read in prior Angie’s list reviews that this was going to happen as they are backed up with the amount of work they do. I did not consider this to be a problem because I believe they are busy because of their quality work.
I was contacted in the second week of October and said it would be scheduled for the next week. I was called a couple days before the work was to start. On the day promised an entire crew with many trucks came out and trenched around 3 - 22 foot walls, cutting concrete on all sides of the walls. New drain tiles were placed around the footers and attached to existing drain tiles around the walls that were not trenched. All were tied into sump well. During the trenching one of the walls one of the foundation walls crumbled. Mr. Provider name locked. came out the next day to discuss what was needed to fix the crumbled wall. The entire wall was replaced the following day at an additional cost and all outside walls were sealed. A few days later gravel was added to get ready for concrete replacement. An inside sump well was dug deeper to accommodate a sump well liner. At this point the existing pipe running to the inside sump well was determined to be filled with concrete greatly reducing the flow from the drain tiles. After unsuccessfully trying to clear out the pipe, Provider name locked. the foreman had his guys remove the gravel already placed in the trench and replaced the incoming pipe completely. I think most companies would have just let it be as this required an additional couple of hours to complete this. The work was finished and the yard and driveway were cleaned up. The crew did an excellent job of cleaning up when they finished each day.
The concrete work was finished a few days later when the weather permitted. Much care was taken to match the existing concrete. The overall concrete job looked excellent and I was very pleased with the results.
Overall they did everything that was promised and I feel the quality of work was outstanding. Mr. Provider name locked. offers a 20 year guarantee and I can see why. The work they do is high quality. The problem was fixed, not just “controlled”.

Well, the project was tricky from the start. My 3 car garage is in a barn built around 1890, which has a brick foundation and two center support columns. The floor was a mix of dirt, broken concrete, and some blacktop. I have 20 feed of pavers which prevented a cement truck from pulling up to the entrance.
Irv at MPI provided a competitive price, and provided an approach to the project which allowed them to excavate with minimal use of heavy equipment which reduced the risk of damaging the existing foundation, supports, and/or pavers. I had two other competitive bids which did not approach the risk of the project with the same care.
As part of the bid, I was given an additional price to provide a foundation support wall around the perimeter of the property if it was requested or required. As it turns out the foundation did require additional support, which I agreed to after excavation. The work was delayed a week due to the availability of concrete deliveries in the fall. But MPI was able to meet my required deadline to complete the project. Above the scope of they project, the crew also replaced the support footers and supports with new poles at no additional cost, which was appreciated. The end result was fabulous. The retaining wall added a great finish to the garage and I was very pleased with the end result.
