Work was done in a timely fashion even though there were a couple small issues we were unaware of. They also took care of those issues no problem and completed the job to beyond my expectations. They were very professional and friendly and would highly recommend hiring, I will be in the near future for other projects throughout my house.

Excellent! Superb! Fantastic! Darrell and his crew worked tirelessly at a steady pace and their work was impeccable. Darrell was very knowledgeable about the age of our home and the best way to remodel it. For instance, the full bathroom was almost 100% original to the house. He and his crew did as we asked - added modern/updated fixtures to our home while preserving the integrity of its age and original aesthetic. He tiled a new shower for us and it is gorgeous. He installed a specialized macerating toilet in our basement and built a bathroom around it "from scratch" and that was a last-minute project we requested! When Darrell encountered problems due to the home's age or the fault of the home improvement store, he kept a positive attitude and found us the most cost-effective solution. He had great suggestions regarding both materials and planning/layout. He and his crew worked diligently and kept tools/equipment out of our way when they left each day. Darrell explained all costs, kept receipts for us to review and we found the cost to be well worth all the wonderful new changes. We never felt like we were paying for something we didn't get. Darrell consistently kept us informed throughout the process. I have worked with other good contractors before, but this company IS THE BEST! We will be calling him in the future for other projects, as needed.

Dave came when scheduled and completed the job on time. The quality of the job was high. He cleaned up the site after each visit as if he were not even there. I will use him again for future projects

We called for a couple numbers that a friend gave us, some didn't show up and never called us back. Some of them came and gave us a price; And then we called Alex, he answered right way, showed up in the day and time. He couldn't start at the date that we wanted, but at the day he scheduled, he START AND FINISH.
That's why we are so happy.

The people who actually do the work are fantastic. The project management is something to be desired. Absolutely no communication. There were days nobody showed and we didn't know why. I'm big on communication and they definitely lack it. We have a small bathroom. Not a huge job. They said about two weeks. Started December 2, 2013 and completed the bathroom last week (week of January 20, 2014). The port-o-potty is still here. They said they called to have it picked up which was two weeks ago. We called the actual place and they said they never received any call. Their garbage is still in our garage. They promise you the world before you sign, but once you sign it starts to crumble a few weeks into the job. Nobody ever called, such as the President who we signed the contract with, to apologize for all the delays and lack of management. We had to call the project manager a few times to get things done. We shouldn't have to do that. We would have liked them to redo our other bathroom, which is much smaller, because the workers were terrific, but due to their poor management ... NO!! They even said they would measure it and give us a price when they came out to do a preconstruction check. Never did. It's too bad because it is hard to find good people to trust to do it right with good communication and management skills. We wouldn't have been surprised with this if it was a one man operation, but a company like this, didn't expect it. It's unfortunate.

I cannot say enough about Bob. I've used him for many years. I feel that his work is extraordinarily good and his fees are not outrageous. I can trust him and leave him in the house even when we are at work. He will even let the dog out for us. He didn't even charge me for the cabinets, he wanted to take them back to the original maker since he recommended the maker, he didn't want to charge for taking them back or reinstalling them. He always backs up his work to the people he refers us to. He's impeccably neat with his clean up! He will even take his shoes off when he comes into the house, so he doesn't track anything in the house. It was important to us that he is an animal lover, when they were updating our house I had trust that the animals were fine.

It was the most horrible experience of our life to work with Pro Source LLC. The serviceman had come in and gave a nice spiel. He had wrote up a contract, gave it back, signed it, and everything was going great. Then what had happened was he said it would take six weeks which he wrote down on the contract and so forth and so on and the contract is all good but he did not keep his part of the bargain. He said six weeks but it took six months. He never did get permits for anything. He said just for labor he was going to renovate our complete bathroom and renovate the mud job. We bought all the materials including counters, sinks, faucets, toilet, and doors to close off the washer/dryer area. We told him to put plastic up so you don't get any dust around the house and they said they didn't have to do that because they had fans. We gave them a couple of sledge hammers because they said theirs were stolen. After they demolitioned the walls they got someone to clean it up but they did a lousy job. Pro Source LLC put the shaft to the two plumbers and the guys that were doing the work, they didn't pay them. They turned them into the downtown town hall and I got a stop work order on the whole job. They had covered the ceiling and the walls with the right kind of sheetrock and cement so that was good. They did have to come and bust it all up for the inspector to take a look so that slowed us down. Every time they did something it wasn't write so the inspector had to come back. It was ridiculous and annoying. He said they would spray all our ceiling because if we patch it then it will show. He came in and put plastic all over the ceiling, floor, and furniture. It looked good. He sprayed the ceiling and by the time they pulled the plastic out the paint was all over the furniture, rug, and clothes. They pulled the wallpaper boarder so they had to repair that. They painted the whole room and then wanted to charge us extra for trim. It was a fiasco and I could have done a better job than that. We told them we were not going to pay extra for the trim. They tore up all the shingles around the chimney, reshingled the base, put new lead shielding all around it, got the grout from around the stone, and regrouted it. It looks like a good job but it's still leaking. He closed off the full ridge vent around the chimney saying that maybe the water's getting in there and now it's crumbling down and leaking. The stone above the fireplace wall came out nice and the bathroom looks good. It was six months with a stop order, aggravation, and the house was a complete disgusting mess. They never really did a good job cleaning it up. They had a crew come in, a woman and her son, and they didn't do windows so that was a joke. It was a nightmare from the beginning to the end. I have a hairline crack in the grout of the bathroom tile and I tried calling but they won't answer. They refuse to answer. There were certain things that weren't lined up right such as the outlet boxes. They were a little it off. I had to replace a handle they knocked off when they were working. I gave them a bill but I don't know if they paid for it although they said they would.

We met with Rory from Accent Kitchens and he was very helpful in pointing out the design options we had for our kitchen. Since there are so many cabinet options it was great to have Rorys expertise to point us in the right direction. After about 3 revisions we had the final layout and placed the order. 3 weeks later the cabinets arrived and were installed. the countertop was measured and we picked the backsplash and within 6 weeks we had a dream kitchen thanks to Accent Kitchens.

We bought the house on a short sale, after it had been empty for nearly 2 years. While empty, the house was vandalized for copper piping from the basement; and many water pipes had burst during the winter. We had to negotiate a construction loan from the bank, in addition to the mortgage, to bring the house up to code so the mortgage could be approved. The loan approval was contingent on bank approval of the estimates for the work. I can't say enough good things about the quality of Charlie's work. In the kitchen, every cabinet and drawer in the kitchen is level, the splashguards are flush to the walls. We had to cope with a chimney that runs up between kitchen and dining room; Charlie put a spice cabinet over the chimney and then shimmed the cabinets on either side of the chimney so that their fronts are even all the way across. The completion of the upstairs was dependent of plumbing and electrical work done by other contractors, but Charlie was on the spot when they were working and even "worked around" some incomplete items at times. A few times, he even came in the evening after supper to do some finish work, like putting handles on the cabinets and leveling the doors and drawers. In the course of the projects, Charlie noticed numerous small things that were broken or damaged, such as crown molding or improperly-mounted electrical sockets, and simply fixed them. He dropped a new socket in the laundry room because there wasn't one in the right place. Overall, he just takes a very personal interest in the project as a whole. He truly has a craftsman's view of his work. "Doing it right" has been his motto throughout this work. After I primed the kitchen walls, prior to installing the cabinets, he chewed me out for getting paint splatters on the subfloor, which he said would ruin the floor when it was put down. Then when I came back to paint, I found that he had completed covered the subfloor with cardboard, as insurance against my maniacal painting ways. Based on my experience, CMA Carpentry is the go-to ninja master for any general remodel. We had a terrible experience in our previous house, where much of the same types of work was done shoddily by a different contractor. That just makes this experience seem that much better.
