ARichland Pest & Bee ControlI was extremely pleased with the work that was done. Normally I would take care of killing the nest myself, but this one was very large and in a tough spot to access. From my first contact with them, their customer service was exceptional - very pleasant, polite, prompt, and professional! The experts themselves that actually did the removal, came with a lot of knowledge and care.- Linda C.

FFox Pest ControlWe live in the country and have significant problems with moles, voles, ticks and spider webs on the windows of our colonial. I was so happy when a Fox Pest Control representative showed up at our door and promised to take care of all of those critters for us. We did not see any immediate improvement but remained patient, assuming that these treatments would take time to make a difference. Four and a half months and $520.05 later there has been absolutely no improvement. Our lawn and garden are now destroyed by mole and vole activity, my kids and cat are in constant danger of tick bites and the spider webs on our windows continue to thrive. I called with my concerns and a week and a half later someone called me back and offered one free service (which have all proven useless). She said sorry but there was nothing more that she could do. My husband’s gut feeling that this would turn out to be a scam was absolutely correct. This company is nothing more than a scam.- Stephanie M.

AMichael's Carpenter Ant & Termite Services, LLCThe owner was professional, friendly, and prompt! We will definitely use him again. He did not charge us for the visit because he instructed us in how we could fix the problem ourselves! That is a truly honest salesperson.- Lori P.

FFox Pest ControlI contracted Fox to remove raccoons from the dumpster on my rental property. The first day a tech came out and set a large (raccoon) trap and a smaller (maybe skunk) trap. They caught a raccoon in the larger trap and the door was sprung closed on the smaller trap. It remained this way for a week at which point I called to ask when they would be back, they told me the tech had been there 6 times during the week. I asked for more traps as were promised and they did the same thing, set up a large trap and reset the small. After a couple of days they caught another raccoon in the large trap. They then removed both traps and said they were finished. Raccoons were never taken care of. When I called on the phone no one in their office knew if they had a guarantee or not. They told me they would send a message to their wildlife specialist to have her call me back, she never did after I called them 3 times saying it was urgent. I eventually set my own appropriately sized haveahart trap and caught the large raccoons myself. They charge me $537 and never completed the job Do Not Use Fox Pest Control- Lonnie B.

ATHOROUGHSPECT, LLCWe had experienced field mice and other vermin in our home for years, with traps serving as our "best defense", but the problem seemed to grow worse. We were referred to Brian by someone who had heard of him by word of mouth. This bit of serendipity has improved our enjoyment of our home immeasurably. Brian came in and methodically diagnosed the multiple vulnerabilities of our house, identifying potential routes of entry and characteristics of our home's construction. He presented us with a written proposal. Upon our acceptance, he returned to complete the job in a reasonable period of time and timely met his promised commitments throughout the project. We have not seen evidence of any mice since the sealing. We have also benefited from his recommendations to address other insect pests. As impressive as the results are, what is notable about Brian is his zeal for what he does and his ability to communicate effectively in person and via E-mail. He inspires confidence in his work and follows up repeatedly to ensure the results are satisfactory, demonstrating true professionalism. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.- Howard A.

AModern Pest ServicesWe weren't there, so we have to assume service was performed as expected. Their communication was top notch. Emails to confirm, reschedule etc was spot on. They emailed when complete with an inspection report. Excellent job.- Steven R.

ABethwood Pest Elimination LLCFrom beginning to end, the experience was smooth. Based on reviews here on AL, I called the business phone and left a message. My call was returned within two hours, and a date was set for the initial site inspection (which was free). After the owner visited the house (he was highly personable and extremely competent), he provided me with all information on paths forward. A treatment option (recommended by him) was determined, and a date was set for the extermination. He arrived on time, did a thorough job, and described in detail what to expect and to call him if there were any problems. A month later, we have seen many dead ants and no more running rampant in our house. I would highly recommend Bethwood Pest Elimination services for the treatment of carpenter ants. I would expect other extermination services to be equally as professional and thorough. He also guarantees his work for a year, with the option to re-up at the end for a reduced fee.- JULIE R.

ASteve was great. He arrived early and explained everything that was going to happen. When his coworker arrived with the very large ladder they got to work and were done in no time. It feels good to have the hornets gone. One less thing to worry about during this pandemic.

Dfrom the beginning I was reluctant at having to buy a year's worth of service in order to address a problem whose nature and breadth was an unknown to me. the owner came to the first appointment and i was given the impression that initial placement of feeding stations would help them establish the rodents' entry points and pathways. that was never address in the year's worth of service. i wanted to be able to address HOW they were getting in. the extent of their service was to simply refill the pesticide in the feeding stations. when first signing up, i inquired of the woman on the other end if their approach involved use of material that would be toxic to wildlife; she replied that they did not. later, the owner addressed my disappointment with an apology for inaccurate info being given out. the technician who regularly attended to my property was dismissive and frankly, ignorant, regarding the consequences of rodent pesticides upon wildlife that feed upon them. his response to my expression of reluctance was something to the effect of... "they haven't ever really PROVED that the pesticide impacts them..." i watched the technician, in every visit, handle the pesticide, often damp, with bare hands.

FI recommend getting a copy of the liability insurance certificate before signing a contract with American Bio-Tech. While working on our proporty a crew member dropped a tool from the roof. The tool fell through the seat of one of our outdoor dining chairs, leaving a hole in the seat. American Bio-Tech refused to forward their insurance information even though we asked for it multiple times and refused to cover the expense of changing the material on all six chairs to keep them a matching set. Instead, Mr Boone threatened to file a claim with small claim court because we withheld an amount of the account balance for coverage of the repair. He refused a quote for repair obtained by us, and only offered a cheaper repair by an other company; a company that made it perfectly clear that our furniture is “cheap crap bought online or at Costco” or a credit equivalent to this. Needles to say, we would much rather have filed a claim with American Bio-Tech’s insurance company.
