    Trinity Mechanical LLC
I highly recommend this company! They have been out multiple times to service my oil burner and a variety of plumbing needs. They are always prompt and have come out right away for no heat calls, including one this past winter during one of the very cold snaps we had. Steve is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Prices are reasonable, too. Check them out before going elsewhere.

    Call The Plumber LLC
Work has not been performed. I wanted to post this review now, as it reflects on his knowledge and concern for the well being of people he has not even met yet. I will write a review on the work and price separately. As for Jason's character, very few people like him any more in the business world.

Anthony Vizzo Plumbing & Heating LLC
Anthony Vizzo was recommended to me by a friend who has repeatedly hired Vizzo for residential plumbing and heating services. I have not yet purchased the oil burner replacement. Vizzo is one of the people who I will contact when I am able to pull the trigger on the job. When I requested an estimate, he was very quick to call and set an appointment. During the appointment, he did a very good job of explaining the various options available to me and their relative benefits (short term fix, long term fix, basic fix, upgraded fix, etc.). He then quickly provided written estimates of the options. What he told me and his prices were very comparable with another vendor that is highly respected in the community. Incidentally, we got to talking about a plumbing project that was on my do-it-myself list. He did not hesitate to offer advice on the project and made no effort to convince me that I should let him do the project. To me that speaks volumes about what to expect from him as a contractor. Don't forget that I opened this review stating that Vizzo came to my attention because of a solid recommendation from another long time customer.

Anthony Vizzo Plumbing & Heating LLC
Discovered a broken drain line late at night. After reviewing Angie's List I had a list of plumbers to call in the morning. Anthony Vizzo was my first call and thankfully the only call I needed to make. Tony answered right away, discussed the problem and scheduled Mike and Joe to come out first thing. Mike and Joe arrived, quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired the drain line. This included, not only fixing the break, but also correcting a previous connection that was not done properly. They took the time to discuss potential causes of the issue in addition to checking the line to ensure I was not at risk anywhere else. The repair was done quickly and the workmanship was great. When Mike came to the door to settle the bill he removed his shoes. That might seem like a small thing to some, but I was in the service industry and to me it is a sign of respecting the customers property. Everything about Anthony Vizzo plumbing shows them to be professional and honest. What else could you ask for! I have work I need done in the future. I will definitely be calling Anthony Vizzo to bid. I should also point out this job was done the day before Christmas. A hectic time for all, and they came through with flying colors.

    What a great experience!

Sent a Message via Angie's website and got a prompt response.

Spoke to Mike on the phone and I explained what I needed done. Was given a quote over the phone that was very fair.We scheduled a day and time.

The guys arrived bright and early (so I did not need to take a day off of work). They had the Hot Water Heater installed pretty quickly and saw the quality of their workmanship. They did a great clean up and had removed the old HWH.

Mike followed up the next day to see if I was satisfied with the job.

    Great Job, Guys-

You will definitely hear from me again,

    Rhonda

    Clean Water Man Inc
Ted was great to work with. He responded to my query via email and asked for pictures of my water filtration system so that he could come prepared with the right parts. He showed up as promised and fixed the problem. He is very knowledgeable and recommended an easy and free solution that took care of some updates we were considering to the system. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Ted for any water related issues you may have.

TC' s Plumbing & Heating LLC
Tony provided a quote and completed the work on time and to our satisfaction without any surprises. He was flexible to work around our tiling contractors schedule and came back to complete the installation of fixtures.
Tony is skilled and very good at his work. His expertise comes at a premium but think it's fair given that he stands behind his work and provides peace of mind.

Mr Handyman of Upper Fairfield County
Using a razor blade as a tool, the technician was unable to break the glued panel which grants access to attic.  I asked him to try to use a putty knife and a hammer or mallet, and he refused saying the panel was sheetrock (which I know for sure is wood), and regardless, he felt he'd only do damage so refused to try any further.  So no assessment of the attic could take place and while he replaced the vent cover outside, he could not make sure the inside/outside connection was secure.  When fixing the dryer vent to the ceiling, he asked to leave to pick up some "tools."  I asked what tools and he said he needed duct tape.  I asked if he didn't carry this in his truck as a staple of many fix it jobs, he said no.  I gave him my duct tape, rather than pay for his labor and mark up on allowing him to leave to buy duct tape.  Mr. Handyman was to send a separate plumber to fix the outside spigot, but called 10 minutes before the appointment to say the technician was going to be late and the plumber couldn't come.  The technician would have to fix the spigot.  It took him quite a while to do this, when only a washer was required because he didn't know what he was doing.  Meanwhile had the plumber showed up to do the job, it would have cost $175 just to come and up from their based on time spent.  He also complained that he didn't like  going up on ladders as he was afraid of falling - he should be because he was about 80 years old.  Needless to say, I will never, never use this vendor again.  It cost $304 for a washer for the dripping spigot and replace the dryer venting tube from dryer to ceiling!
I called Mr. Handyman to express my dissatisfaction and make the recommendation, which I intend to take going forward with like projects.  That is to have a pre-project visit, assessment of right talent and tools for the project, and cost estimate.  In this experience, I was on the meter and with a limited-competence handyman, I felt the job costs way much more than it should have.  I was told my dissatisfaction would be passed on to the owner of the franchise.   He sent me a note via facebook saying he was sorry I had a bad experience.  I guess he doesn't agree that I was gauged.

Steve Basso Plumbing Heating And Ac
Scott was knowledgeable about both ac and plumbing. We had a very good meeting for about an hour to discuss two decent size projects. He indicated quote would be out next day. I did not receive and after a week reached out to vendor and then one more time by phone spoke to reception and they said he would call. Never received callback or quote for work. Left me confused as to why vendor would take time to come out but never make a proposal. It's been 4 weeks, getting alternate quotes.

    Water Dr LLC
I had called Water Dr to get a quote for replacing a water softener injector pump that had developed a slow leak several months ago. The service guy was quick to respond and came over the same day. But, instead of providing a quote, he patched the motor with duct tape and a dirty towel because he didn't have the parts in his truck and then charged a $100 for the service visit. I am a little confused why he thought that I would like to pay a $100 for the patch job that would last only a couple of days while he got the parts. The leak was going on for several months and I could have certainly survived a couple of days.  Unless, this is their way of getting an edge over their customers who hope to recover their service charges by paying whatever they quote for the replacement parts.
I cant trust them enough to let them back in my house again.
