    The reason I switched was the impersonal aspect of the visits. The doctor is constantly typing into a computer. Efficient for them, just not a great feeling for the patient. The exams, in my opinion, were not comprehensive. No EKG, etc. Blood tests were routine. Doctor reports every item you discuss from specialists you have visited for insurance purposes even during well visits, then charges you co-pay because he treated you for something else! Then the problem you thought you had turns out to be something different!!! Hence, try and get new insurance. It is a hassle and is on your record as a pre-existing condition. Result...Insurance payment goes up if you try and change. Changed doctors, had great well physical exam and no charge for well visit. In depth blood tests and I am a happy camper now!

    It went well. However---
    Front office staff should immediately acknowledge the presence of patients who have arrived and are standing in front of them! (or at the very least, they should provide a sign in sheet so patients can be seated while they finish phone calls, schedules, etc.)
    It would have been nice if Dr. Tellechea, and quot;welcomedand quot; me as a new patient to her practice and thanked me for choosing Middlesex Hosp. Primary Care as my primary helath care provider. I am, after all, a customer. Physicians often fail this aspect of their relationship with patients, and the and quot;value'' that we bring to their business.

    All the doctors I see there are very professional.  I really respect that they are honest and upfront with you if there is something they are unsure of.  They take excellent care of me there and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.  The quality of care is wonderful.  They have a research facility there too.  Some of my treatments have been as a result of their research.

    He is great. I used him last week, and I used him ten years ago. I'm seeing him tomorrow. He is well known and competent. He is personable, and he talks straight to you. He has practices in three or four areas.

    He is superb. He is an "A" all around. He is extremely well trained. His background is impeccable. I went to see him twice. The second visit he decided to drain my ear and put tubes in my ear to solve the problem. However he took me in another room and he looked again and didn't see the fluid so he didn't put the tubes in my ears. 99% of the other ear nose and throat doctors would have put the tubes in because of the revenue. Dr Boey decided, after a second look, that I might need a hearing aid. I am so glad that I found him.

    My doctor was very thorough. He made sure there were no hidden problems. He discussed the test results in detail and we talked about the options. I felt that he and everyone in the office was ready to listen to my concerns and helped me through the several procedures that I needed to have. Hopefully you won't need a cardiologist- but if you do this is a good group.

    I am constantly amazed at the poor scheduling availability. The average wait time for my own doctor is several MONTHS. I inquired about getting an appointment with the doctor that I like (my wife's doctor, Dr. Novak) and was told that he is booked out more than 9 months! Of the numerous doctors there, there is only ONE accepting new patients. I was called to be notified of a cancellation and have decided, after my last visit that I cannot trust my health care to this practice.
    I called to see a doctor on a Saturday morning and was diagnosed by the secretary, over the phone! and quot;Well, if you've been sick for weeks, the weekend is really for emergenciesand quot;, this is what passes for professionalism here! Upon checking in to my appointment I inquired as to how long it would take to reschedule an appointment for the physical that they had cancelled and was told and quot;oh it's going to be monthsand quot;. I was blown away that there was a sheet taped to the wall right in front of me, at each check in point, that had the daily hours for pharmaceutical company representatives on it. There are two hours a day EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK set aside for drug reps to come talk to the doctors, and after using their practice for years I have to wait literally months to get an appointment. God bless America! Needless to say, I feel that Middlesex Family Practice does not have my best interests on it's agenda. I cannot help but wonder what types of things and decisions are being ignored.

    I did not even get to see a doctor, so I really have nothing much to say about them. The facility seems fine. I guess they are an extension of the Middlesex Hospital, and I am sure the group has specialists too. I would continue to use them in the future.

    Love the Doctor, great bedside manner, spends plenty of time with you, the wait in the office can be long.  My only complaint is that when he did my c-section he forgot to tie my tubes, a decision we had discussed several times during my routing visits and was noted on my chart.  It was a complicated pregnancy with PIH and an unscheduled c-section, but I was disappointed that neither he nor his staff remember to complete this request.
