    Louie, Mike and their crew were friendly, honest, and extremely attentive to detail. They were a pleasure to work with. Louie was the primary contact and was always prompt, helpful, and responsive. They performed a high quality job at a very reasonable price. They took their time with the flashing around both chimneys to make sure it was done well and replaced the skylight while performing the roof. Friendly, honest, and reasonable pricing. I highly recommend M&J.

    Service technician competent and very friendly.�� Phone receptionists bouncy cheerful.�� Management laughing all the way to the bank.

    Their web site says service call ABSOLUTELY FREE (if your appliance gets repaired,��you don?t pay��the service fee).��

    Understand what that means.�� It is not a "service" fee.�� It is what they charge to give you an estimate. You pay either for the service call ($100.00) or the repair which you have no idea how much the estimate will be. The technician gets on his tablet pc and gets the "Bluebook" value for that repair like an auto repair place.�� The estimate to replace our $20.00 plastic blower fan was $328.00.�� When he saw my jaw drop he gave me an instant coupon for $25.00 off.�� Wonderful!�� You can buy a new dryer for $300.00.�� Now I'm already 1/3 of the way there.�� $100.00 for what his ticket said was 45 minutes��to diagnose and keep the broken dryer or go ahead and fix it.�� I said alright, fix it.�� That means him ordering the part that he said he just used up from his van on another call last week.�� The part will be shipped to my house (not their shop) and when I get it I'm supposed to call an 800 number to schedule the repair.�� And I'm supposed to put down 3/4 of the cost up front.�� I did that. (Ee Haw! Ee Haw!)

    Then I changed my mind and asked for a refund. They said I couldn't get a refund until I returned the part that was being shipped to my house and I might be subject to a "restocking fee."�� I said I didn't see why I should pay to restock a part he should have had on his truck anyway.�� When the part came I took it to their office myself.�� They refunded everything EXCEPT the "Service Fee" plus tax.�� Bottom line: I paid them $106.30 and they didn't fix my dryer.

    I don't expect them to work for nothing but you decide how much you want to subsidize this sort of thing or make a few more calls around before you invite them over.�� Or just call nobody and go and get a new appliance.

    I actually got a call from one of their managers who was sorry that I got such a case of "sticker shock."�� And when he said, "I too, am a customer. . . " I felt he was sincere.�� He even offered to refund the whole amount to me.�� But I told him I didn't really expect that and that I knew they have overhead and I don't mind them making money and I hope they pay their service men well, etc.�� They actually did put another $26.59 back into my bank account.�� So, they ain't all bad but the advise in my last paragraph from before still holds:�� ��I don't expect them to work for nothing but you decide how much you want to subsidize this sort of thing or make a few more calls around before you invite them over.�� Or just call nobody and go and get a new appliance.

    Neil came to the house, looked at the work to be done, and provided us with a detailed estimate (with work and pricing options) the very next day. All our communications were friendly, and the roof was done in less than a week. The metal (not cheap plastic, thank you!) gutters were also installed very quickly. The roof and gutters look wonderful, we couldn't be more pleased with the work!

    JAM Appliance came to my house on a service call for my dryer. He
    discovered that there was a short that was a safety issue with the
    dryer, further it had non-standard European parts. He said he would
    research the problem and get back to me. He called back a few days
    later to say he was refunding the cost of the service call and that I
    should take it up with the manufacturer because he believed there was a
    defect. He refunded the money as promised and the manufacturer
    acknowledged the defect and repaired the machine for free! I appreciate
    JAM's honesty.

    I cannot say enough great things about Neil Jones Home Improvement. These folds were on the ball and extremely responsive to our needs. They came and gave an estimate that was more than fair.. I did get 4 estimates and theirs was the lowest and included the most for the money. They came when they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves daily. They were extremely professional and knowledgable. Made great recommendations and arranged for all the materials and inspections. They only required a thousand dollars as a down payment with the contract and did not ask for another cent until the job was 90% done. In fact the job is now done and they have not even yet asked for their final payment. They are trustworthy, use only the best materials and treated me like family. I have worked with many contractors over the years and never had one as good as these folds, They also have great follow-up. Had a couple of questions t, they came to my house to show me the answers.
    Linda is awesome to deal with and coordinates the work, Steve is a master carpenter as is Neil. the crew are professional and experienced. They worked from dawn to dusk and even on some weekends. This was an extensive job which required demolition and construction, electricity, plumbing, heat, siding, framing, sheetrock, molding, windows, doors, roofing, fixtures and shutters. They do it all. Don't waste your time with anyone else. They are awesome.

    Ferri Godmother has amazing customer service. She works on an hourly basis for big and small parties. It s as much or as little as you want and I love the fact that I don't have to worry about the details. She took care of everything and was out as soon as the party ended.
