    They were very prompt, on time. They sent a crew of four and they moved us out and into our house in 4 hours of time. There were no issues not scratches and no dings. They were on time. I would use them again.

    This move was a disaster. The movers arrived in 2 small trucks that were inadequate for the job, despite my having provided a complete description of the scope of the job when I contracted for the service. Halfway through the work I was told that all of our things would not fit and that a second crew and two additional trucks would have to be brought in after business hours. The company did not have anyone available to preform the rest of the work before that. This created a serious problem for us with our landlord to whom we had committed being out of the house by the end of the day. The owners version of making this right was to charge me a discounted rate for the second crew. I had no choice to agree to his terms because it was too late to find another mover who could show up the same day and they were already in possesion of 2/3 of my stuff. The second crew was delayed due to a flat tire, and when they did finally show up at our new house at 11:30 pm, I was told that they could not complete the work (one of the trucks contained items that were to be taken to a separate storage facility), until the tire was repaired. They wanted me to wait 2 hours for the tire to be repaired and then go to the storage site. I refused to have them complete the move in the middle of the night. At that point I was promised they would return "first thing" the following day. They did not return until 12:30 pm the following day and the final work was not completed until 3 pm. Thus what should have been an 8-9 hour move took 2 days. The load time for all parts of the move was excessive because of the time required to overpack trucks that were too small. The inconvenience and stress associated with all of the mishaps was extreme and the only resolution offered to me was to receive a discount for the work I should never have had to pay for in the first place. Since I was basically held hostage at the time, I paid for the services with 2 checks. However, on the second day, after the work was completed unsatisfactorily, I stopped payment on the first check. The second check cleared, thus the company has received partial payment. I offered to pay a fair price for the remaining balance based on what the job should have cost. The owners' response was to threaten me with both civil and criminal action if I did not pay the full sum of what he said I owed. The aggressive and intimidating posture he took during the move has continued as I have attempted to resolve this matter. This company is horrible.

    The overall experience was okay.  They did their job.  They were honest.  They were late for their job but it’s no big deal.  They were not well prepared for the job.  When they came, they did not have tools with them like the cording.  Fortunately I have one so it was not an issue for me.  But if I don’t have one, I would feel bad.

    At the time we were considering a furniture only move. I called and gave them a list of the furniture we wanted moved. The man I spoke with said that they would call me back with an estimate. The next day I got a call from them the woman on the phone said that the estimate for moving a 2 bedroom house was $1300. I said wait you are giving me the wrong estimate we are moving a 1 bedroom apartment. She then apologized and said that she had two estimates side by side and that she read the wrong information but that the price part was accurate. This price seemed really high for the move we were requesting. We went with another company that only charged us $455 (before a discount) for moving the furniture and some additional boxes.

    They arrived on time and packing up our apartment went smoothly.  We
    left the apartment at the same time. They arrived at the house over 20
    minutes later than I did. When I called to see where they were they said
    they were taking a break. It would have been nice if they told me that
    they were going to do this prior so I didn't worry that something
    happened in transit. For the most part they did a good job unpacking and
    reassembling our furniture. However, they damaged a piece of scroll
    work on a dresser. First they tried to convince me that the damage was
    there already. When I didn't buy it they said that they were going to
    offer me a discount. (But they didn't really at first) They crossed out
    the traveling fee discount that they give to Angies list members and put
    in a "quick claim" discount in it's place. So the actual cost of the
    bill did not change at all.  After I questioned how he was giving me a
    discount for the damaged item  since the price of the bill was exactly
    the same as before. The owner finally did actually discount the bill to
    reflect the damaged item.

    People loading truck told me tips are expected but I didn't have to pay it but they would make sure my things got there safely.  Cost $200 more than I expected.  Driver arrived in CT with terrible attitude was rude to me and the maintenance personnel. When I went to the cab of the truck, this guy said he was on the phone and would talk to me when he was ready and not before, He insulted the staff of the building and was mad because he couldn't park his truck exactly where he wanted. They broke furniture (admitted it) and would not pay unless I signed a release that I would not tell anyone what had happened.  (Blackmail) I refused and they still have not paid for their damage.  These people are horrible and unprofessional.  I have proof of these statements so I strongly advise everyone to stay away from them.

    Jimmie was patient, kind, and professional from start to finish.  Firstly, I appreciated how flexible he was in terms of availability.  I built a new house and was awaiting a closing date when I first spoke to him.  He was able to provide me with several moving dates and was very patient as I tried to establish a solid moving date.  He ended up moving me in on a Sunday, which other movers either didn't allow or charged extra for.  I was most impressed with how careful and conscientious the movers were with my things.  They wrapped each piece of furniture, placed cardboard down so as not to mar the hardwood floors, and even took their shoes off in the carpeted rooms of my new house.  The one drawback was that the move was expensive (twice what it cost me to move to my condo) but given the painstaking attention detail, availability on short notice, and overall service it was worth it!
