AFAMILY UPHOLSTERY INCExceptional. These guys know what they are doing. I have been refinishing antiques for 30 years, but upholstery and frame reconstruction have not been my areas of expertise. Todd immediately knew something was dreadfully wrong with our 1920's transitional couch. We had it reupholstered 25 years ago, but it still seem to sag, and we were continually tripping over the front legs of the couch. They were like buck teeth. He not only tightened up the frame, but geez, the care he took in matching a very large repeat in the fabric we had picked was incredible. I highly recommend Family Upholstery. Please be aware, though, that from Labor Day to Christmas they are very busy. Our couch and chair (oh the chair, exquisite!), was in the shop for two months. Plan accordingly.- Scott E.

AI ordered an Acrylic turntable cover for my new audiophile turntable - Dr. Feickert Woodpecker with Origin Live illustrious tone arm. I got the "floating cover", which sits on the top of the turntable plinth via 4 seating blocks. This cover is a beautiful work of art, literally could be used in an art museum display. it is very sturdy and extremely well finished. The pricing was very, very reasonable and I have never seen better or more secure packaging. Shipping was received as was promised and in a timely fashion. ADavina was amazing, she came to my house for an estimate when I didn't have a clear plan; I just knew I needed help. As a mother of four I found that organization in my home had gotten out of control and I just needed some help/inspiration. She quickly formed a plan of action and didn't hesitate to put it into motion. I was pleasantly surprised with how much was accomplished the first day in only 4 hours, she definitely works quickly. I would absolutely request services from Total Room Makeovers again. Cost for services seems dependent upon extent of work needed and size of room. I definitely felt the first was fair and appropriate.

AI had neglected the exterior of my contemporary red cedar house for too long and decided to address this while working from home during the pandemic. This was much more than a simple staining project. The house had to be power washed, sanded by hand and cedar boards replaced as needed before the staining could begin. John Cyr and his team excelled in every area. John expressed enthusiasm and confidence to take on the project and was always quick to respond to my calls and emails. His talented team, led by Ernie, was always professional, courteous, tidy, accommodating and paid attention to detail, even making sure to stain the mailbox post at the end of the driveway to match the house. Everyone was always patient with my questions and requests, which I appreciated and my house looks brand new. The project was completed within budget and on time, actually a little early. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

ACheryl and Paul were great to work with. The back of the chair had to be taken completely apart in order to fix the 1 spindle. They did an excellent job with the work and matching the existing stain. You cannot tell which spindle was replaced. I will definitely use them again.

AJackie was more than helpful setting up a cleaning service for my Mother after her stroke in 2018. Since then, there have been services every week faithfully. The attention to detail was especially pleasing, as my Mother is very particular about cleaning and the care of the wood in her home.
