AJuggs Paving & Masonry Inc.James called us back immediately, came out for a free estimate, and returned a couple of days later with a contract and to finalize plans for repaving our driveway. His crew showed up, did the job quickly and well, and even offered to throw in a little something extra we needed done. SO now we have a railing on our front step. AJuggs Paving & Masonry Inc.We had a longstanding problem with water in garage and basement. Hired Juggs masonry to redo asphault driveway which sloped toward garage door. We learned that the problem was more extensive with cracks in foundation and structural problems with concrete garage floor. James clearly explained the work that would be done, the exact steps and schedule, and the estimated cost. Juggs Masonry crew was professional, punctual, FAST and stood by cost estimates. AHighland Paving & Construction LlcAwesome, spectacular job. Dennis, Antonio, and the crew were punctual, and certainly knew what they were doing. Antonio and the crew take alot of pride in their work. One guy spray pained a piece of the gutter which needed attention. The base was exceptional when compared to other jobs around town - well packed. Other bases around town are loose and quite sloppy looking, put down by other contractors. The price was not the lowest, nor was it the highest. Job was paid in full when complete. The crew spent alot of time on driveway prep and worked well together as a team. AGuarco Construction Driveway Paving & Snow RemovalIf you want the driveway you've always wanted, select Guarco Construction. Their people and quality are top notch. We recently had our driveway removed and replaced by Guarco Construction. It is about 150 feet long, portions of which have a significant slope. I am a Geotechnical engineer with a firm that does work all over the country, almost exclusively commercial. We work with contractors every day. In addition to designing foundations for skyscrapers, we routinely observe paving work, typically on interstate or other major highways. In a nutshell, our job is to confirm that suitable soils either exist or are placed (following removal of unsuitable soils) below pavements and that those soils are properly compacted prior to placement of the pavement surface. Without proper compaction of the soils, the pavement surface will not provide the desired performance or life expectancy. We chose Guarco because after talking to several contractors to understand their process and gauge their understanding of pavement behavior, Carl Guarco seemed to have a better grasp vs. the competition on how to deliver a superior product. I also took the time off from work to observe Guarco‘s activities from pavement removal through preparation of soils, including addition of high-quality base material where needed. I would choose Guarco again to complete a new driveway anytime given their understanding, expediency, polite, friendly and professional personnel, and first-class driveway product. Thank you, Guarco. AJuggs Paving & Masonry Inc.Excellent work performed. The paving had some problems due to the steam roller; but the men returned to finish the paving after the machine was repaired, and the end result was a very smooth driveway that I am very happy with. If customers don't use Juggs for paving they are making a big mistake. I like the way they apply asphalt to the driveway, they use wheelbarrows. Other paving companies dump it from the truck, roll it, then each truck comes, and dumps it, then it's rolled again. Then in a few years you end up with seam separations, and cracks where the truck finishes dumping at those locations.- Ronald B.

AProfessionalism at it’s best. I applaud James and his valuable team for the great job they did in completing the challenging first phase of my backyard project. The project commenced right away, and his team wasted no time to deliver my expectations. My first phase included.. • Filling in the old inground pool with stone from a dismantled 9’ stone wall in yard. • Adding additional material to fill in gaps in the big hole then compacting said area with a commercial heavy-duty compactor to ensure a future level patio with firepit. • Designed a beautiful patio area with Nicolock pavers. • Installation of a sophisticated drainage system to preclude any sitting water accumulation. • Regrading yard, bringing in about 2 triaxles of loom carried into backyard by wheelbarrows, due to limitations with ingress and egress. This helped to lessen the steep hill to allow for a softer, gradual sloping of yard. Additional 4-5 axels to be brought in during second phase. • Transplanting very large, mature, evergreens to another location in yard My past hardship experiences with inept and unscrupulous contractors helped me to recognize a truly genuine contractor, like James. He boasts integrity and is truly impeccable with his word. What he says, he delivers. James is onsite, making certain his team follows his directive. When I had any questions, concerns, changes, with the scope of work James responded quickly and without hesitation. He had also gone out of his way to provide recommendations as to how I can correct areas of concern in my expansion joints in my concrete driveway independently. James has a very creative mind and is easy and comfortable to work with. I appreciate him helping to take my vision and turn it into a reality. My new patio area with firepit is awesome! Thank you, James and team! My next large phase of construction is forthcoming. It will include hardscape and landscape with stone wall and installation of Trex privacy fencing along with hydroseeding once weather is appropriate. I look forward to working with James and his team again to begin my second phase.
