    Denny Chiropractic And Acupuncture
I have seen Dr Denny for many years, off and on. I ended up injuring my lower back in 2010. At this time, I was not seeing any chiropractor and have been very protective over my lower back. When I came back to Dr Denny, I told her about my back pain and told her I was very hesitant to have ANYONE touch it. She explained what was going on with my back and asked if she could start to manipulate it. I was hesitant, but told her to go ahead. Within a couple of months, she had removed much of my back pain. Dr Denny is a very personable and special doctor. She is very gently, supportive, and makes you feel very comfortable. She is a 'tell it like it is' chiropractor. Her personality and knowledge makes you want to come back.

    Strayer, Dr. Ted R
Dr. Strayer is the best! He is very kind, very accessible, he takes time with you, and is very gentle. He is very professional and up to date on the latest equipment. He continues to research and participate in conferences in his field. The office is up to date and the receptionist is very good, she has been there for 15 years.

    Strayer, Dr. Ted R
My initial appointment with Dr. Strayer was unlike any medical experience I've had--and it's making me revise my long-held ideas about what a person should expect from a healer. He's out-of-network for all insurance companies, which had led me to exhaust my other alternatives before coming, but I wish I had seen him first. He's an osteopath and was recommended by my yoga teacher as a miracle worker who had fixed her in one session, on 3 different occasions. For an initial consult, Dr. Strayer will spend TWO HOURS with you, asking very detailed questions, listening very carefully, offering wise and practical advice (bring a notebook), and making musculoskeletal adjustments if necessary. I'd had a neck injury and believed that Dr Strayer was something like a chiropractor, but he's a healer in the fundamental, comphrehensive, historic sense. First, he discovered serious complications I wasn't consciously aware of, based on my medical history/records, and his physical assessment, leading him to suggest that I see a specialist covered by my insurance (obviously, he had no incentive to do this). Second, he was able to put his hands (and, with my permission, his acupuncture needle) immediately on the various and extremely localized areas that were causing me pain - many, again, which I had been unaware of. I've never met anyone who could do this so deftly. Third, while I thought he was diagnosing me, he was actually performing manipulations (that's how gentle it was), which led to dramatic improvements in the problem areas during the session. I'll be returning for further manipulations and acupuncture, but I never felt pressured to do so, and his philosophy is to help people help themselves and be available for emergencies - not to provide regular ongoing treatments, as chiropractors generally do. As an osteopath, Dr. Strayer is a general practitioner, and knowledgeable about the body in general, not just the musculoskeletal system.

    Strayer, Dr. Ted R
He gave me some ammunition to return to my primary physician and suggest a line of treatment.  His evaluation and treatment were out-of-pocket expenses for me and not covered by my insurance.
