They wouldn't tell me when the job would be performed so I was forced to just wait and assume that somebody will at some point arrive to do the cleaning. The crew arrived two weeks after I was charged for the service. The gutters were still dirty after they were done and one of the spouts was still clogged despite the fact that we explicitly pointed the blocked spout to the working crew.

M&J roofing provided me with a very high quality roof for both my home and garage. The initial consultation was detail oriented all of my questions were answered with additional explanations provided. The crew of 4 men arrived early morning and completed the entire JOB that day! They stripped off all the existing roofing on both buildings, installed the new roof and cleaned up every single bit of scrap material left on the ground upon completion of the project. I was very impressed as were my neighbors. The owner was on site to manage and oversee the project. The team was respectful and kept on task. This company also repaired my chimney, rebuilding the exterior chimney, added an interior sleeve and took pictures before and after.

Lance and his team where very good. I had my roof redone on my ranch house. They where fast, clean and easy to talk too. As an older lady I get up later then most and he has made his work hours around what was better for me.

Great team. Responsible, professional and on time. We were amazed at how quickly they installed a brand new roof on both our Cape and detached garage all in one day! They made sure there wasn't one piece of debris left on the lawn when they were done. Would without a doubt hire this company again.

So far, very well. (Work has been scheduled. Will update when completed.) Michael was one of three contractors contacted for the replacement of the gutters on our small summer cottage. Even though this is a comparatively small job, Michael still came to present a proposal. (One contractors was a "no show",) We preferred his gutter design over the popular one so we agreed to have him do the work. The contract was signed late on a Wednesday and we are scheduled for the work to be done early next week, depending on the weather. Very happy so far. Will update at completion of work.

The provider first told me he was going to start the project in two weeks because he was busy. This was in August. He didn't start until October. I requested pressure treated wood which he provided, however he did not go and pick out the wood. It was delivered and it was terrible quality. He then proceeded to build my deck. Which he did in a couple of days. However, I had the building inspector come out to look at it and the stairs were not up to code. There were three things wrong with them and they needed to be rebuilt. Outside of the stairs, the edges of the deck weren't cut straight, boards didn't match up, the mitered corners were a mess, he screwed a piece of wood to the concrete slab at the bottom of the stairs because the stairs didn't match up correctly and he used several cracked boards. When I pointed these cracks out to him, he told me that was pressure treated wood. Yes, I'm a woman, but I'm not stupid. I don't think he measured anything. Nothing was consistent. I will say he tried to fix the problem, but his work is sloppy at best. I told him to stop and took him to small claims court. I won the case in June and he was supposed to pay me in July and I still have not been paid. (It's now August) I would never do business with him again. His excuse to the judge as to why the stairs weren't up to code, because they followed what was there previously. What was there previously was the original deck on the house that was built in the 1980's. Even I know that wouldn't be up to today's code. This was a terrible experience all the way around. I would not recommend this contractor.

We have a log home in East Hampton CT that we built almost 40 years ago.  Last winter ice dams caused water to come
into our house. Not knowing what to do we researched on the internet for the
cause of the problem.  My wife and I also
called multiple contractors and had some come to our house to look at the
Bill had a unique technique for assessing the damage.
He looked at the problem and tried to get to the root cause.  Bill obviously knew how to correct the
problem as he has done this type of work in the past.  However, the methodology for choosing the
solution varied to some extent on the conditions he saw.
In my opinion Bill had the best solution.  His
solution was very reasonable from a cost perspective.  I am 68 and my wife is 67 and neither one of
us wants to get back on the roof and shovel.
Our focus was that this had to be done correctly the first time.
When the job was completed it was done in a professional manner.

M&J Roofing exceed our expectations. The company and its employees were PROFESSIONAL to the T. Initial consult was clear and concise. The main house and garage roofing was installed within 12 hours. AMAZING! Our lawn was even vacuumed so that there wasn't a  hint of old roofing material or debris left behind. Our neighbors even commented on not only the speed but the beauty of the new roof.
M&J came at 7:30 am. complete with a crew of 5 men. Each employee was professional and curious.
    This entire experience was seamless.

They showed up 2 days early in the rain and did the job in no time.  Picked up everything even the leaves and things that fell out of old gutter even though I told him he didn't need to do that.  I would for sure use them again and refer them to anyone that needs gutters.  Great Job and thank you.

    Bauhaus Construction
The concrete and construction workers were conscientious, hard-working, and very thorough.
1). STONE WALL: They excavated, moved, and cut stones and boulders from our property to install a stone wall approx. 30' long.  This included a base footing under the wall, installing processed stone, and a 4" drain along the back side of the wall.
2).  FIELD STONE SIDEWALK: Installed a flat field stone sidewalk, including steps, by removing top soil and creating a sub base.  Installed 4" of processed stone base and installed landscape fabric before laying stone and filing in with stone dust.
3). CONNECTED DOWN SPOUTS TO YARD DRAINS: Excavated and installed drain pipes from down spouts to yard.
4).  RENOVATED EXISTING BARN FLOOR: Renovated our existing barn flooring by installing 4" of stone dust and compacting it.  Dug out approx.  24" around the pump for the water supply inside the barn and Installed stone for water to drain down.  Installed 6" paver stones around the stone area.
5). Installed 4" pvc pipe from barn down spout to concrete drain box in paddock, including back filing and grading.
The entire job was completed in approximately one week. The clean up was amazing as every area was graded smoothly and the lawn was raked with top soil and seeded. It was our pleasure doing work with this construction company.
