  Selma has cleaned our house for several years. We have been happy with the job she does and I have recommended her to our neighbors. She does vacuuming, dusting cleaning surfaces, furniture, fixtures, bathrooms and kitchen floor (1 to 1.5 hours). She always arrives on time and is very dependable.

  I have a contract with them. Maybe I'm expecting too much. Maybe I'm expecting my carpet to look like new and it doesn't quite. There is still a little shadow left in the entryway to the rooms and stuff like that. I don't know that I think maybe going over the area a little more. I don't know exactly how they did it or if it is just impossible to do what I hoped. Maybe my carpet is just too old but they have been cleaning it for years. They did clean up the area where my cats messed up so I'm happy with that. 
  
  I like it that they are dependable. They come when they say they are coming. They do what they promised. There were a couple times like the last time - my stair case is part of the contract - but I switched it with them for another room. They were willing to do that. I liked that. I wouldn't be able to get somebody for less than that. I shouldn't complain about my carpet. It's probably just the carpet itself. I had them clean the hardwood floor and I know it was still dirty after they cleaned it. I paid for it thinking it was going to be spotless. And it wasn't quite. I wiped it after they left and there was still residue left. When I move I will probably call them again when I need carpets cleaned.

  Jolyco For Cleaning

  They cleaned only one bathroom. Never cleaned the outside of the toilet in the one bathroom. Left mildew in shower. The second bathroom, they told me they would get it next time. They never windexed ant of the mirrors , pictures or dresser tops in either bedroom. I had to go upstairs after the two of them were up there for 3 hours from 1pm to 4pm. Hence 6 man hours. I think Tom just hung around and did nothing. The second bedroom they did nothing, dust on furniture, pictures, etc. once again, carpet was just professionally cleaned. They left by 4:30 and wiped down counter in kitchen, while Tom used a swifter to go around the large area rugs, misusing entire areas. Never did any furniture downstairs. I told them I wanted a deep cleaning.

  Estate Solutions

  They did move many boxes of books to Donation sites I hope. We never did see any donation receipts. He did take the piano to the dump. However on the day of the move he and a helper arrived with just a couple boxesI actually had to go to the local grocery store for more. I ended up packing most of the kitchen. On the day he came to give us the estimate, while going through one of the bedrooms, he noticed a couple old pictures on a closet shelf. He said he would take them and see what they were worth. On the day of the move I saw him taking a few other things from the attic into his truck, he again saying he would put them on the inventory.
  They did move all he furniture we wanted them to, I will give them that. However, my mother had an old glass top sofa table that was in need of refinishing. Bear said he knew someone who could do that, he would take it to the and get back to us. We had more moving to do, as the house was not sold yet and there was more stuff in the house than could fit into the new assisted living space. So I thought we would be seeing him many more times and I would just check on the status of he table then.
  About 2 weeks after the move, he called me one day to say he was on his way to the house to look at the attic, see what else needed to be moved. He said my mother had given him permission and he knew where the key was. I thought that was strange, as she did not like him. We had told him that somewhere in the attic were 2 silver sets that we had not been able to locate . The attic was filled to the gills and a mess. He called my mother a bit later to report the "good news" that he had found one of the silver sets and was bringing it to her. He told her that I had given him permission to go over to the house !!!!!!! My sister and I could not believe it.
  
  The end of this story is that my sister and I ended up doing the rest of the substantial clean-out. We never found the second silver set. We never got an inventory of any type from him, never knew exactly what he "took to see what it was worth". We never saw the sofa table again. I called and called, he never answered his cellphone, left messages so many times I lost count. I made a formal complaint to the better business bureau, they notified him, he never answered their complaint. I guess we were so naive in not insisting on a inventory from the beginning to document what he took.
  
  The reason I am writing this now, so long after the fact is because I now belong to Angies List and see another review similar to one, and also because today in our local paper,I see that a woman ?his wife, associated with his business is giving a seminar on "estate Solutions for You" as part of a few financial planning sessions . I cannot imagine hiring this company for ANY type of work and only think that they continue to advertise as a company to help with your move as a way to get items for their consignment store.

  Sparkling Cleaning Services LLC

  It was great! We set up a time and the lady came and she was really nice and got right to work. She also seems to know everything to do. I didn't have to mention anything. She worked straight for 4 hours and I was writing so I was off in a different room. I couldn't believe how clean the house was. It just had such a different feel to it afterwards. It was terrific. It was such a good experience and i wish I could afford to have it done all the time.

  It was very thorough. They did a great job. She arrived a little late but they gave me a discount for the inconvenience of waiting. The cleaner asked if I minded bleach products which I appreciated her asking.

  I would say it's going well. I'm not here when they come so I don't know if it's always the same person but overall I think it's fine. The last time, I really didn't notice that much difference. I think the first time, they were really trying to impress us and we came back and we were like "Wow! This is amazing." I haven't had the same reaction every time. They show up on schedule as far as I know.

  I was very excited to work with Genie Maids on my move-in clean. Kevin was responsive, friendly, and seemed to share my appreciation of the details when we discussed my needs and the scope of the job. He sold me on his service because he promised a thorough job (cleaning vents, baseboard heat units, shelves, appliances, etc.). He gave me some great cleaning tips and called me with any issues or concerns that he had about the new house based on what he saw. Until I went to see the completed work, I was thrilled with this service and anticipated using them for bi-weekly/monthly cleans.
  When I visited the house while it was being cleaned, the crew that was there was delightful - very friendly and they seemed to be busily working away. Paid for the service at this point as well.
  A day or two later, when I returned to the house, I really started to look around at the job that had been done. Some of the work was good - most windows were clean, floors were in good shape. But other elements were quite plainly done poorly or not at all. The empty cabinets had crumbs and dead ants. The refrigerator shelves still had crumbs and other loose items on them - so it's not just that these things weren't and quot;scrubbedand quot; but they didn't appear to be so much as wiped down. And then the details that sold the job to me (the promise of cleaning the heating units, the grill under the fridge, etc) didn't appear to be touched. Bathrooms were hit or miss - toilets were clean, but tubs had and quot;stainsand quot; that I was able to wipe away with no elbow grease required.
  Each element of the cleaning that I found disappointing had been explicitly agreed upon at the outset, so my experience seems to be to be a failure to deliver, not a miscommunication. Overall, a very disappointing experience for a fair price. I would not recommend this service.

  He is good. Things get cleaned very well and I am pleased with the service. I think that he get things done quickly and that he is dependable and honest. I could leave him in the house by himself and I would still be left with great quality work.
