    Great. I called Tony to make an appointment. He asked me when I wanted to have my van serviced. I asked for the next day and first Morning appointment. Done. They opened at 8:00am on the dot and started my service. Tony’s shop is about 20 miles from my house, it’s worth that 40 mile round trip to have Tony and his professional auto Technician service my cars. It so hard to find an honest automotive shop, Auto Topia is the diamond in the rough. Every time I have my cars serviced, Tony has gone well above and beyond To make me happy. He only uses good quality parts direct from the manufacturer. Tony will actually show you the parts that he replaces. I don’t not hesitate to drive down to Tony’s Auto Topia and anyone who asks me for a good automotive mechanic, Tony’s is who I always recommend. Thanks Tony for another great service.

    On Dec. 2, 2019, at 7:30 a.m., I brought my 2016 BMW X5M to BMW of Morristown for a previously scheduled appointment to have them swap out my four summer performance wheels/tires and install my four winter wheels/tires that they had stored for me, while I waited for this work to be performed. I requested that once the winter wheels/tires were installed that they also perform a 4-wheel alignment. FYI - approximately 6 weeks earlier, I had purchased from BMW of Morristown, four new BMW-approved winter performance tires to replace the worn ones that were mounted on my winter wheels, currently being stored by BMW of Morristown. We agreed that they would hold onto those new tires for me and install them on my winter wheels on the day I brought in my vehicle for the summer-winter swap. The timing of this appointment on 12/02 was appropriate since we experienced a significant snow storm today, dropping 4+ inches of snow. Unfortunately, BMW of Morristown made this a far less than acceptable or enjoyable experience for this long-term BMW customer and BMW CCA member. They took five plus (5+) hours to do this work....! That is ridiculous and truly unreasonable. Prior to that, my SA asked me to sign a work authorization for all of this work, for his estimated cost to me of $460 + NJ sales tax. As part of this estimated cost, they were going to charge me $40 per tire for installing the new tires, as well as $300 for the 4-wheel alignment. He had the gall to say that he was giving me a $10 discount per tire, off of the usual tire installation cost of $50 per tire. I pointed out to my SA that it is their Dealership’s stated policy is to not charge for tire installation when a customer purchases four new tires from them, which I had done. I also shared with my SA an email I received from their Dealership, about five months earlier, where they were promoting to perform a 4-wheel alignment on any BMW vehicle for a cost of $129.95, when one purchases four new tires from that Dealership, ( which I did....!). Therefore, I believed that there should have been a total cost to me for this work of $129.95 + $8.61 (6.625% NJ sales tax), for a total of $138.56. After further discussion about all of this with the BMW of Morristown’s Service Manager, they charged me $200 for the 4-wheel alignment + sales tax and that is the amount that I paid. While I appreciate the final resolution to all of this, I believe that BMW’s customers should not have to be subjected to having to wait around for this level of unreasonably drawn out work time duration, as well as a blatant attempt at pricing manipulation. While the quality of the completed work was acceptable and up to BMW of Morristown’s high standards, I did not appreciate the extensive delay in having the work performed while I waited, nor having to remind them of their Dealership’s stated policies and recent applicable sale promotions. It really leaves a bad taste with a loyal customer who has a number of choices of other BMW Dealerships to patronize in our geographic region.

    Green City Heating and Air Conditioning
    In December, our heat went out. We called another company to fix it. They mentioned our blower motor wouldn't last long and recommended we get it replaced ASAP. In March, we called Green City to get the motor replaced. It was gradually getting louder so we assumed it was approaching time to replace it. Aharon came out to investigate. He quickly told us the motor was fine and the furnace we have is just noisy. He cleaned the furnace and tightened everything down. Noise was gone when he left, it has since returned as expected. Original company quoted $1000+ for the motor, Green City quoted about half that. Turns out we didn't even need it. They could have easily told us we did and made more money off of us but they didn't.

    MAVIS DISCOUNT TIRE
    Front passenger tire top tilted in. Grease was inbedded in the material inside drivers door. Can not remove!! Reminded them of a coupon I showed them after seeing they did not take it off the bill. They claim the process to remove the discount was incredibly hard and in detaied talked about it. They gave me a business card saying I can come nack and use it again on something else. Bought my wifes car in to use it on an oil change. Appointment was for 2:30 got there 2:20 they claimed when we came in at 2:20 it will only be 10 minutes until the car was ready to go in. 3:30 still waiting. They claim a car on the lift mind you they have more than 1 lift. The one car on the lift came down and went back up. The manager said they were waiting for an approval from the manufacturer for the car up on the lift. Mean time I saw 6 workers standing outside bullshitting. I mentioned "I hope that when they were done their would be no grease on the door handle" manager's response "nope just on the steering wheel". Seroiusly this is why I was waiting he had an attitude an a quick short smart *** answer for not only me but for every customer he turned away while I sat there and listened. He was an older person (lemont) MANAGER and think he should work were he doesn't have to deal with the public. Thank you for your service old timer but this is not for you. Time to gooooo

    Parkertown Tire And Car Care
    Parkertown Auto was recommended to me 8 years ago when I was new to the area, and I've gone there since. They've always scheduled my work quickly and have never tried to up-sell me on extra repairs. They'll let you know what needs to be done, but don't pressure you. George has always explained things thoroughly. I've brought both of our cars there for a number of years, for a variety of repairs, and have never left there dissatisfied.
