Short version - Sensible Home Products has done a phenomenal job on our home. We are so glad we found Jeremy and his high rating is definitely deserved. We had a roof, vinyl siding, door/window trim, a few windows, gutters, garage doors, and garage trim all completed by his team in quick order. I was very impressed with the crew's professionalism and attention to detail. The work was completed quickly and afterwards there was no debris left to pick up. In fact, the dumpster was out of the driveway 30 minutes after the job was complete. Nice touch J. Long version - My neighborhood was hit with a freak hailstorm in Mid-May 2018. Tennis ball sized hail did a number to my house and every other house in a 2 mile radius. The very next day, the construction equivalent of ambulance chasers from all over the country converged and promised homeowners to fix it right. Big fancy trucks, matching uniforms, glossy pamphlets. Naturally suspicious of the convenience that they were selling I held off and met with local contractors and finally Jeremy (because of the high ratings). I am sure glad I waited. He laid everything out for me, showed me the quality of is work, suggested a few improvements within my budget and got right to work for us. Besides the quality of work I witnessed in pictures what really struck a chord with me was that his crew has been with him for years. It shows a lot of character in the construction business to have a crew work that many years for one general contractor. I could tell he cared about taking care of his crews and doing right by the customer. Fast forward 2 week before construction was to start and we had buyer's remorse on the color choice for the home. I still feel bad but Jeremy really went to bat for us on siding already custom made for our job and got it switched to a different color. It wasn't without some hardship so please, if you do decide on a color, stick to it. I'm not sure Jeremy could take another last minute change of that magnitude. Construction begins in early November. The construction crew shows up on time every day the weather permitted and even some days when it didn't. They had many, many windows and doors that required trimming out and, if there's one thing Jeremy takes greatest pride in, it's the trim work. There was one gentleman bending metal full time each and every day on the job and I continue to be amazed at the quality of their work. Whereas most aluminum trim is flat, they actually made several bends in the metal to give it depth and pop out more. Additionally, we ponied up for the Azek trim around the garage doors and wow! what a difference. I get compliments daily on how great the doors and trim look. As a consequence of having such a great looking house with everything so well put together I now see other homes differently. You never recognize the poor craftsmanship and cut corners until you see great craftsmanship. I thought my house looked good and that's why I bought it a few years ago. With the new siding/roof it made me realize how old and tired the house was. One last feather in Jeremy's cap is that he is a great communicator. There may not have been a day over the past month that I haven't spoken with him about the project. In comparison, my neighbor sent a large check to another contractor and has not been able to reach him for the past few weeks. In summary, the hailstorm was the worst/best thing to happen to this house and Sensible Home Products really went above and beyond in every facet of this construction project. Cheers Jeremy, great job.

We had gotten windows from this company recently and are very satisfied with them! We used to have other name brand windows but once we switched to the HR40 we noticed a big difference. There is a dramatic difference keeping the heat in and it is saving a lot of energy. There are no drafts and they keep the heat out in the summer as well. The quality of these windows is well worth the cost! The installation went seamlessly, it only took them about 4 hours to do the job. We are very happy that we chose Peoples Products this time around.

I am very satisfied with the work Peoples Products did for me. The heat mirror is very effective in the windows and keeps the heat out very nicely. There is no draft like there was with the old windows. The installers did an amazing job and it only took them about a half a day. I am very pleased with everyone at this company, they are very pleasant to work with and very friendly. The customer service is also responsive and polite. All the products I received are high quality and I am very happy all around!

In 2001 Action Windows replaced two (2) windows for us. They installed pre-painted trim instead of the unfinished trim we agreed upon. When we confronted them they were very apologetic but did NOT want to rep[lace the trim. We were gracious enough to accept this MAJOR mistake for a discount because we were very happy overall with the quality of the replacement windows them selves.

Flash forward to Nov 2014. We ask Action Windows to replace the four (4) front windows on our cape. They are colonial 6 over 9 double hung windows. We are very specific that we want the unfinished trim as we will be staining it to match the rest of the downstairs woodwork. The work appeared to be done very well but when we went to stain the trim the installers had gotten glue all over the trim at the seams along the window edge. Anywhere between 1/4 and 3/4 inches of trim going out from the window would not take stain because there was glue on the wood. We asked them to replace the trim and they refused. Instead they sent a person out today who sanded down all the edges around the window where the glue was. This was only 80% successful as there are still several very visible 1"-2" places where the original white wood would still not take the dark stain.

Once again my wife and I love the windows themselves, but are not happy at all with the quality of the work or Action Windows response to their mistake.

My husband and I  have never had any work done on our house, and were anxious about the process of choosing a contractor, what projects made the most sense to have done,  and the cost of what we wanted!  Lou Cook of Perfect View Remodeling meet with us on several occasions.  He spent a great deal of time helping us decide what projects we could do, always mindful of our budget. He was so patient and considerate!
We refinanced our house to get a lower interest rate to pay for our projects, and that took FOREVER! Lou was so patient, and when we were ready, so was he.  He was actually able to get started on refinishing the floors (with very little advanced warning)
while were were out of town -great for us!!
The guys were all so great!!  They spent about a month working on all our projects, this summer.  Our 8 yr old twins boys loved to watch the guys work, and the guys were great with them!  The crew spent a lot of time in and around our house, and I felt completely comfortable with them there.  On the last day of construction, our kids asked me if one of the guys could join our family!!
The quality of workmanship, and materials used were impressive.  The crew were so neat, clean and polite.  Lou helped us redesign the entrance/foyer/mudroom to our house that had always been problematic for us.  His suggestions were so creative and now have made a world of difference in the entrance and functionality of our home.  We could not have been happier.  I have already referred 2 of my friends to Lou.  And did I mention that he did not go over budget in any way....NO surprises!!

Their quote was really high so we didn't go with them. They were on time and professional. They were also nice and very responsive with their phone and e-mail.
