    Gove Restoration LLC
We could not be happier with the result, it is gorgeous, it was well worth the investment and the effort. We were also very happy with the process. When you select the Gove brothers for a project, you have their undivided attention. Literally every square inch is attended to with great care. They are meticulous, experienced, highly organized and quality oriented. I dont know how Adam did it, but he stuck to his planning to the day so we knew what was happening next. They have a great team of skilled professionals working with them, they all take such great pride in what they do and have been working together for years if not decades. They were all a joy to have in our house, everything was left clean and ready for the next day. The Goves are such good carpenters! one of the cabinet makers told me and I could see that he was right. They are also very good people. They love what they do and they enjoy working together. I have enjoyed and learned from every conversation with Adam and Matt. I was able to weigh in every decision no matter how little I knew. We had trust and understanding throughout the project. As a result, the space is now a reflection of our taste and it is built to last. You would be in good hands if you selected them for your project.

    Better Built Basements LLC
To say Better Built is amazing is an understatement. I was looking for a company that could handle all of my needs so I didnt have to deal with multiple businesses. They handled remodel, kitchen, bath, plumbing, Tile, electrical, floors & paint! I wanted someone who was going to make things easy on me & they did. Hiring is the most important thing youll do with your house & trusting the people handling is important. Staying with in budget was very important & they did! Their workers are courteous and on time. They kept me up to date daily in what would be happening each day. They remodeled my entire downstairs including windows, kitchen, dining & two baths. I had no idea where to start & they helped me develop the entire plan. You will not be disappointed if you hire Better Built!

    New England Kitchen & Bath
It went excellent. The representative, Abby, lead us through the entire process. She designed and suggested possible items we would want. She listened to what our needs and wants were and fulfilled our dreams. I loved how Abby scheduled the workers and checked on the progress several times a day. When questions rose she was right there getting our feedback. With any project the home owner has to realize there will be hidden things lurking behind those walls. We were in the same boat. We needed to do a new header to secure the kitchen ceiling and had to update the electrical panel. The house was built in 1946 and needed updating badly. All of the workers who came into our home were so professional, respectful, and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend New England Kitchen and Bath team with flying colors.

Chris was great! Super easy to work with and did a beautiful job! He had great design ideas and really paid attention to detail. He took a lot of care with demo and cleanup to ensure the least amount of mess. Overall fantastic experience and I would use him again in a second!

    New England Kitchen & Bath
Our kitchen looks great. NEKB was great to work with. Frank and Abby are great to work with. Abby has opinions and offers them when asked but is not pushy at all. She also understood the concept of and our commitment to a budget. She is a very candid communicator which was very useful in this process. If we had a bad idea, she'd say so. If we didn't like something we said so. All of the subcontractors were super neat and cleaned up each day.

    Cornerstone Home Improvement
My husband and I just had our bathroom completely remodeled by Cornerstone. He also added a tiled backsplash to our kitchen. Both areas came out fabulous, Steve is so talented. With older houses, there are always issues that pop up. Steve was able to resolve every problem quickly and effectively. We are extremely pleased with how the bathroom and backsplash came out. We will definitely use him again and would highly recommend him.

    DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen
The electrician that they used and recommended has been removed from Angie's List due to work problems. His/their price for electrical turned out to be more than one thousand dollars more than their original estimate. They got around this because they made me pay him directly. Their installer turned out to be a subcontractor who had his good and bad days. When I complained they kept saying that he is an "award winning installer". He had to return4 or 5 times. Basement was left with mud and grout over a large area. The tiles were not installed well. The grouting and putty over the whirlpool had to be replaced three times. He popped a hole into the next room and refused to repair it until I made a formal complaint to the owner. We had leaks because the tub fixtures were not installed properly. The shower doors were over tightened and the turn knobs at the bottom cracked. It took almost a year to have things put right. The owner is too busy to be interested. He is busy building a showroom near the Berlin Turnpike in Newington. The only good thing about this company is the other person named Paul who is the designer. His work is excellent and if you really need something to be done, contact him. No one else listens.

    Lady House Doctors
I purchased a coupon in June of 2015.
It took over 2 months to receive a quote. I should have known that this would be a sign of what was to come. Work began in early September. The walls have been removed but no patching up of the holes it left has been completed. I have been living in a construction site for 4 months and I cannot reach Kelly. I have emailed at least a dozen times, called, and texted and have received no response. Finally, I was able to reach her and we agreed to meet on Friday Dec 18. The day came and went with no response from her and she did not show up.
This may be the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. I have already paid 50% and have not received 50% of the work, I regret choosing this contractor. In the 4 months since my job started, I have seen new reviews and new coupons appear on Angies List, so it is clear that she is not too busy but simple refusing to finish my work. I should not have paid 50% in advance and I wish I had only paid for the % of the work that was completed.
Although Kelly is very friendly and seems like a great person, would recommend against her professional services to anyone.

    St Hilaire Restoration, LLC
The  leak sourcing and repair was outstanding.  The leak was repaired,  the leak outside at the vent was sealed and the ceiling was fixed.  Was able to almost exactly match the popcorn ceiling area that was repaired which is very hard to do. This work was done by the owner and this part of the job would get an "A" rating.  I was not as pleased with the caulking and grout work and give this work a "B" rating for the following reasons:  This work was done by an assistant who was learning to use the caulking tools. I don't have a problem with someone learning a task on my home repairs, but I think there should have been more oversite of his work by the owner.  I as the homeowner was checking the work and pointing out things that needed to be redone.  The owner had to re-do several areas himself. There are still two small areas that were not done very well (one very visible). And the caulking was a bit sloppy.  I know caulk squishes onto the counter tops and wall above the backsplash when it's being applied, but I had to do alot of clean-up to get it off the counter tops and walls once the contractors  left.  One last comment: (also speaks to the "B" rating)  on the day of the work, the contractors arrived right on the scheduled time (8 a.m.)  but had to leave for two hours. Because the work wasn't started until 10 a.m., this caused the contractors to be at the house two more hours than originally planned. I was told at first that they left because they had to get the caulk and had to go to two Home Depots to get the right color and then found out later that they forgot to bring a ladder and had to backtrack about 20 miles (each way) to get it in addition to the caulk. I get forgetting a ladder. But when the job was quoted on-site, the owner and I discussed the caulk colors and I was surprised that he didn't arrive with those materials in hand. While I would use this contractor again, I would set some expectations out upfront, especially concerning any assistant who is apprentice mode.

Great experience all around, very pleased with the tile job and with the installer. The backsplash greatly improved the look of my kitchen and it only took a couple days to get completed from start to finish.
