Juan and his team are very pleasant and easy to work with. Juan almost always picks up his phone and answers his right away texts. If its not immediate he gets back to you very quickly. If anything goes wrong he makes it right. I have used him for many projects and have recommended him to lots of friends who were also very happy with him.

    Classic Construction Group
I found Classic Construction Group on the internet. The company had great reviews. German Ruiz, the owner, promised excellent work at a price little higher than market. He promised that all his subcontractors were going to be licensed. I should have known something was wrong when he presented a single page contract. None of his subcontractors were licensed. He used the cheapest material despite products defined and agreed to in the architectural drawings and contract. His crew was learning on the job--lacked basic craftsmanship. All his flooring ended up warped (see pic) and had to be replaced. He also kept extorting us to pay or else he would not finish the job. We ended up firing him and hiring another group to fix his many mistakes. He still sent us his full bill and demanded that we pay. I've worked with many contractors on different homes. He was by far the worst experience I've had.

Rob distributed some of his business cards and we happened to have just purchased a new home that needed some things done, so we decided to give him a call. We contacted Rob to complete a list of about 10 items throughout the house. They included switching out some old lighting fixtures with more modern ones, installing new ceiling fans in place of some old ceiling fans, installing a pet door, hanging curtain rods, and installing a new storm door. Initially, he made a great impression. His response time was excellent, he was very nice and seemed professional. He sent us an itemized quote which I felt was fair in price. He could start right away, which was fantastic. We had all the light fixtures placed next to where they were to be installed, verbally went over the job, and told him to contact us if there were any issues that needed addressing while we were out at work. We anticipated the project as a whole would probably take a few days to complete. To our dismay, we receive a text message from Rob stating that the work was over his head and he wasn't able to complete it, so he left, with the work in progress. (Mind you, one of the items on the list that he "wasn't able to complete" was hanging curtain rods.) The state in which he left our house was unbelievable. He had half-assembled two of the in-box ceiling fans, left little nuts and bolts all over the beds in the bedrooms to the point where even if we hire someone else, we don't even know if all the parts are there. There were pieces of old ceiling fans and broken light fixtures all over the floor. As he had taken down the light fixtures in the bedrooms, I came home from work at 10PM to find no lights in the bedrooms whatsoever, so we went out and bought table lamps to use temporarily. There are holes with exposed wires hanging out of our ceilings. The cat door, screened door, and curtain rods were thankfully never started - or I'm sure he would have left us with a hole in our back door and half-assembled curtain rods on the bed. We have called, left voicemails, and texted every single day since this happened and he refuses to acknowledge our messages or respond to us. I don't write reviews often unless they are positive, but this was without doubt the most unprofessional experience with any contractor in any field I have ever experienced, and I want to warn others in our neighborhood so they don't make the same mistake. Note: The "cost of service" listed was the quoted number. Thankfully we did not give him any money upfront.

This is the business of Dave Grecco. We'd hired him in the past for small projects and been pleased enough to give him a small bathroom remodeling job. Paid half up front on assurances he could "knock it out in a few days" (despite being Christmas week). Big, big mistake. Red flags right away. Irritation at our interest in reading/understanding contract. Used-car-lot pressure tactics for cash and contract. Poor-to-nonexistent communication skills. Day 1 showed up 1 hr 45 minutes late; no warning or notice, plenty of excuses. During demo he destroyed a light switch in another part of the house and did not inform us. Left the debris in the driveway. 4 days later electrician comes but couldn't work because no wall prep by Dave Grecco. 1 week later, after no progress, Dave sends plumber. When plumber arrives at our house, he can't work and leaves - again because of no wall prep by Dave Grecco. I fire Dave. Afterward, husband texts Dave and asks for refund of deposit. Dave responds, "*** is this?" Husband: "It's me. The guy with the Angie's List account." And of course, no refund. This is what happens. I'm glossing over a LOT. Guy is so bad his aura erodes the ratings of contractors he's never met. He's the least interesting man in the world. Radioactive. His integrity is as low as the drooping rear waistband of his pants. Stay away. Ah, now I feel better. Not really. Below see a picture of the present Dave left for us over Christmas

everything went great, smoothly and right on schedule. Miro and his crew arrived every day on time; cleaned up at the end of each day; dealt with us changing our minds during the project; great craftsmanship on the window boxes & cedar portico railing & overhead. We love how everything came out and the entire process was very efficient and easy to manage. We are considering an addition & kitchen/baths remodel next year and would definitely have Mcraft back.

Miro built us the portico of our dreams with the most beautiful hand crafted details. I showed him one photo of what I wanted and two days later had a gorgeous entry way to our home. When we first moved in he did all our our trim work around our doors and entry ways as well. He is as professional and efficient as they come and is very polite and easy work with. He is a true craftsman, and we would highly recommend him. His prices are responsible and on both occasions got the job done within the timeframe promised. We gut renovated our home and I understand how difficult it is to find talented professional people to work on your house- so it's important for me to spread the Miro word! Hire him, you won't regret it!

fantastic. Ed is very responsive and very creative. For every challenge, he came over with a proactive and creative solution to work along the lines we had in mind. Ed is totally trustworthy and has been honest at every turn in the process - potential risks, potential impacts, potential benefits. Ed worked with all required inspections and was fantastically responsive at every point in the process! I did not have to worry about details being forgotten or disregarded... :D Ed and his team can also be counted on to be accessible with any questions or concerns you may have AFTER construction is completed and all the $ exchanges hands... that to me is truly magical :)

    Jonny's Home Improvement LLC
I've been working with Jonny for the last two years. We were introduced to him through a friend when our prior contractor did not finish the work he had started in our new house and Jonny came in and took over the entire project. He was able to start right away, working long days and finished the work for us in a timely manner. He basically updated our entire first floor of our house 2 years ago and did an amazing job. I was very satisfied that I decided to hire him again to remodel our entire basement this year. Our basement which is the entire floor plan of the house, is finished but needed some serious updating. I discussed my ideas with Jonny and we came up with a plan and he was able to finish the work at the end of the summer. Initially I had planned to change the drop ceilings, add recess lighting, paint the entire basement, and change the floors of the bathroom. However Jonny started working I decided to gut the entire bathroom and update the entire bathroom. It's now a beautiful bathroom. Jonny did all work. He did all the tile work on the floor, walls, in the shower and painted the bathroom. I also wanted to paint the vanity which he also did. In addition to the bathroom work we also decided to add Pergo flooring over the existing tiles in the entire basement and a few other small projects were added on the way such as creating a wood wine rack. Overall everything looks beautiful. We are so happy with the end results of the entire basement. Jonny has been great to work with, I trust him and the work he's done. I would definitely recommend him to others (which I have already) and I would hire him again.

Both the painting and the handrails turned out beautifully. The paint is perfectly edged in and everything was clean at the end of the day. I was a bit nervous about the handrail project, but Daniel and Mario listened to my concerns and addressed them in a creative and practical way.
