  Very good. The repair was done a month after the accident, but they were closed for vacation part of July, by the time I had time. No problem, since car functioned properly. Done in a day and half and looks great! Pete is honest, gives you the options, sticks up for his customers and deals well with rental car companies.

  Not only did they tell me regularly that they couldn't complete in the day I took the car in (I dropped it off at 7am), but when finished after 2 days, the mechanic did not properly insert the oil plug following the leak, leading to a complete disaster. BMW of D did replace the engine, but then had some further issues that resulted in a check engine light going off. They kept telling me it was nothing, or a bit of moisture in the gas tank. Turned out that it was one of the fuel injectors that needed replacing. Had to go to another shop to find this out. Of course, BMW of D didn't want to diagnose this because then they would have to pay it under the new engine's warranty. Cost me, however.

  The service person, Matt, was very polite and helpful.  He arrived quickly, called the police to help direct rush hour traffic, explained why the lugnuts were missing from our tire, fixed the tire, and then tightened all the lug nuts on all of the tires.

  We've had a lot to do with them in the last 3 or 4 months. We bought a car from them in April and we had that same car serviced for the first time. It was the only time that we used them for the service but they were fast. The appointment making process was efficient because you can do that online. They have an evening drop off.

  The car was completely empty of oil, and Keall was able to ascertain that it wasn't any particular leak. But the car is old and hadn't had the oil checked in so long that it burnt through it. Oops.

  I had recently purchased a Volvo 850 and had Peter do a complete inspection. Volvos, especially older ones, are his passion. He does excellent work and is a good fellow. He did a complete inspection, found several things and prioritized them for me. With safety being first, he recommended the front axle be replaced and a few other things. He explained his findings, and gave me his estimate to which I agreed. We scheduled the work a few days later and it was done on time and right on the estimate.

  We are very pleased with the people at Mercedes Benz of Greenwich. They do a thorough and careful job on our vehicle. We have used them as our auto service people since we purchased the car there. I highly recommend them. The car is still under warranty so there was no charge, another benefit.

  I dropped of the car to check out a noise I have, which probably is the belt. I got a call in the office within an hour, they confirmed it was the belt, which would cost $90, but they recommended to replace the power steering oil because it was dirty ($60) and to do a tuneup ($400). I declined the tuneup, because the manual says you do it every 100,000 miles, the car has 60,000 miles.
