  • Could not be happier with the outcome and professionalism that Steve and his crew provide me with time after time. The guys are polite, clean up all work areas every day, and go WAY above and beyond to make sure nothing is overlooked and the final outcome is nothing short of astounding. They gave me an estimate, scheduled the work, showed up as scheduled and on time and were done in their estimated timeline on/below budget! I couldn't ask for a better job that was 100% stress free on my end. Don't hesitate to use Steve and his crew for any project that you need will not be disappointed.

  • It looks beautiful! This was not an easy job, as we have a cape style house and on one end there is a gulley which can make it difficult to place a ladder safely, 3 floors up. Diego and Neil were here every morning by 7:30. They worked hard all day long and only broke for a short lunch. They were very courteous and Diego knew which products to use to solve our problems. They finished in 4 days, a half day sooner than estimated. Anything I saw that needed touching up Diego was on it. Although the estimate was for one coat of primer and 2 costs of paint, the job ended up requiring a third coat. He did not charge me more because of it. Because I was unsure about what color to use on the shutters and doors, he suggested going to Sherwin Williams, whose paint he uses and talk with their consultant. That was another hit. I went to the Frederal Road, Danbury, CT store and the young woman selected a color I never would have, but she was right on. I believe her name was Colleen. Diego is a very concienceous person, did a beautiful job and I would hire him again in a New York minute.

  • A long time ago, he also painted a room in my house, and it's always been a pleasant experience. He works hard, and paints very well. Comes on time to his appointments and is very professional in his work. Would highly recommend if you have any painting needs, at home or at work.

  • Mike my salesperson was great, punctual, knowledgeable. He even came on the morning the work started to confirm the details of the project with the crew. Elmer and his crew were courteous, punctual and very clean. Highly recommend!

  • Exactly the way it should, I was contacted with the start date, they started on that date, they cleaned up at the end of everyday. They let me know if they would not be there on any day due to weather. They entire job took about 2 weeks and I could not be happier.

  • Certapro was very professional and the salesmen was very knowledgeable. There estimate was very detailed. The company was very concerned that I was completely satisfied, and I was.

  • We contacted the company for an estimate. They were kind enough to wait a bit when I was running late from work. They provided a reasonable estimate and were patient when it came time for us to make a decision (as we had other companies to decide from). I then contacted Barbara - it did take some time for me to hear back from them (I assume they are very busy being a small company) but she was always pleasant and ensured to calendar our requests. Mauro (the owner) came for a final once over and even began patching that same afternoon (which was yesterday) we provided a 50% deposit to cover costs for supplies etc. and they actually began prep work today (patching some small nail holes). He explained he would be bringing in a few guys because it was a larger job - entire house interior less the master area - and that he anticipated being done by Wednesday. I am shocked they could get it all done that quickly but I am happy that it will be ready before the holidays.
We left him the garage button to our home and allowed him entrance as both my husband and I work full time. Mauro is a very kind man and very honest. With that being said, I feel the work was rushed and done with no concern for tidyness and accuracy. The team and Mauro keep insisting they have completed two coats on our walls but it is clear they have not. They have gotten paint splatter all over the floors of my entire house (some wipe marks where they have spilled). They had ensured they would be using drop cloths and plastics... I saw one in the entire house. Their lines were not accurate where needed (edging) and they got paint all over the place, on my furniture, on my wood floors, steps, railings. I mean it honestly looks like they just rushed to get in and out.
Once they advised they were done, I insisted they come back on Friday after surprising them by coming home early on Wednesday afternoon (day before a  holiday). I should not have to spend my evenings every evening pointing out missed spots, errors, places that needed to be touched up because I can see the white still of the walls - the previous color, I mean if this is their job I should not have to do all this. Now that they are gone, my husband and I are left cleaning up their mess. I had to reclean and polish all my floors because there is paint all over them. Tiles and wooden floors. Door knobs, handles, etc.
We are going to end up having to call Mauro back to touch up spots all over the house. In all honesty, we need him hear bright and early and going each wall inch by inch to ensure they did their job properly. I understand there is human error which is fine but use two coats and paint all trim. They didnt even use a small brush for the edges, just the same large brush which is why the paint was all over..... I wouldnt use him for a paint job again.

  • Finding Tom was the best thing I could have done.  He came in, assessed the work to be done, gave me a reasonable estimate, brought in his crew and got the work done.  As this was insurance work, he worked with my insurance company in a professional manner, expediting the process.
His crew was very professional.  They were courteous, worked to minimize the disruption to my home, and kept us informed of their progress.  They cleaned up after themselves each day, which was very much appreciated.
As I have more work to be done, I will definitely turn to Tom in the future.
