    SIGEL BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION LLC
Sigel Bros did a outstanding job. We have a old home where nothing is level or straight. They went above and beyond to make sure everything came out perfect. I cannot say enough about Anthony. He is a true craftsman.

    PREFERRED PROPERTIES LSC

First contact was in March was told it would be done in a few months, just finished today 1-31-16. His builder was fantastic, Masons very good but very slow. Every time we turned around there was an extra cost. Owner blamed every sub contractor and us for all the delays. He always wanted his money up front. Overall we are satisfied with the job but at close to 50% over contracted price. My advice to anyone who is considering using Preferred Properties is:

    1. get everything in writing, read it and understand it.

    2. Have an exact payment schedule.

    3. Save all e-mails

    4. Record all conversations.

This has been a very pain staking process and we are very happy it is finally over.

    Buckland Home Contractor
I found Kurt through angies list and contacted him based on positive reviews.  I called him and set up a time to meet for an estimate.  I accepted his estimate and paid a deposit.  Kurt brings along a work trailer that he left on my driveway throughout. My house was built in 1932 and has cedar siding.  Kurt repaired some areas that needed repair for a while and some that were more recently damaged by woodpeckers. Kurt works diligently, does all work himself. He is easy to communicate with and responsive.  His work looks very good and used good quality materials. He did a good job a cleaning up each day.   I couldn't be happier with the process. The work done to my house cost 2470.
I also referred Kurt to my parents.  Kurt also did work on my parent's house next door(built in 1985).  He repaired window trim, wood siding, repaired rotted sections of their screen porch.  The work on their house cost about 2700.  My parents were also very satisfied with Kurt's communication, the quality of the work and the cost of the project.
    Thanks Kurt!

    Alex Masonry
Crew was very professional. Alex spent a lot of time with my fiance and I to select materials. His father even came by to make sure everything was well done. The crew cleaned up after and the deck is beautiful.

    Everlast Construction LLC
The date was set for our roof to be replaced, then we got a call they were able to get to us sooner! The whole process was very professional, and looks and works beautifully.  It did take a little bit longer to finish than we had thought it was supposed to but there was just a slight miscommunication and or misunderstanding about that part.  All around wonderful fast and friendly service; we definitely plan to use Everlast for a future project!

    Arnold's Masonry and Construction LLC

Our house is on a hill so we have a L-shaped cement porch with 9 steps and 2 landings.  Due to weather related damage over the years, the sides of the porch developed a hole and cracks, along with some of the cement starting to crumble on a step and some cracking on others.

We first called Arnold's a few months ago for an estimate, then we called him 2 weeks ago and he came out promptly to look at job again and gave us a time frame of when he could do the job.  He ended up having time earlier than he thought so he called us and asked if it was o.k. to come sooner, which was fine with us.  He and his father showed up early, and then the weather turned and they decided to delay the work for a short time.  They continued the work after the storm clouds past and were able to complete the job.  The work done shows their professionalism - attention to detail, neat work, conscientious and courteous.

    Sweeneys Contracting
The contractor was building a deck and a part of the deck of the rails that go under the deck little rails and he ran out of screws and we are two miles from the home depot and rather than go and get additional screws he stapled the bottom of an end and they all came lose. I wouldn't  have known that but they came lose and we had to replace them that's the first thing. The second thing was I asked him to build basically just six flower boxes that were 3 feet wide and well there was actually 70 feet of them one of them was 20 feet wide by 3 and another one as 20 feet wide by 3. At any rate, when he built them he made them leveled with the deck and the left the bottom open. The bottom was open 10 or 12 inches on the bottom you couldn't put dirt in it. I had to go and get lumber and buy lumber and cut each peace and fit it around the bottom of the whole 70 feet on both sides so that was 140 feet you know and it cost me about another $100 to fix something. When I came home he was gone and it was a disaster. When I called him and asked him about and he said well that's what you asked for. I thought the price was fair but then the work was shoddy.

    Bencar Building Systems, LLC
They did not stand by their work when there was a structure issue, Nancy and Mark Benson came and checked out the issue plus brought the engineer. That was the last we heard from them. We had to hire another contractor to add additional support in the basement to support the addition that Bencar built.  kim sevarino

    Dependable Remodeling, LLC
I have dealt with many contractors in the bast and Stu and his team are bar none the best! Stu treat your home, family, and yes even your pets as if they were his own! He and his team are courteous , prompt, straight forward and as the name suggests dependable. His work ethics is at a standard higher than the highest standards I have ever seen and his work is as close to perfect as you will ever see. The only issue I have is that I could not imagine ever using another contractor. You get what you pay for and Stu is worth every penny and then some!!! Great ethics! Great contractor! great person!!! Your search for a contractor should truly end with Stu and his team!!

    SIGEL BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION LLC
Our project is an addition and remodel of the kitchen and part of the basement of a house built in 1860.  This included an entry way and sitting room at the ground level, a new bathroom and finishing of part of the existing basement, an extension of the kitchen with the addition of a new stairway from the ground level to the kitchen.  Part of the deck was covered to make a screened in porch.  We are about halfway through the project.  We could not be happier with the Sigel Brothers - John and Anthony.  They are very competent and incredibly easy to work with, excellent in communicating AND listening to us.  They are creative, talented and very much "can do".  My husband is very particular about workmanship and we are both ones to research products and materials as well as "old house issues".  There work certainly "measures up" to our highest expectations.  We have found both Anthony and John to be knowledgeable and thorough in their work.  Their attention to detail in their work but also in how the project impacts us is noteworthy.  We have liked their selection and oversight of subcontractors who have also been easy to have around.  We are more than pleased with how the project is progressing and how comfortable we are amidst all that a project like this entails. I find myself frequently saying to them "This is really beautiful!" and my husband frequently saying "they really did a nice job on this.. as each day ends and we look at the progress.   We would give the Sigel Brothers our highest recommendation.
