    All Star Rooter LLC
He was quick to respond to my call and said he could get out the next morning (I had called late afternoon). He arrived a 20 min early (which was fine). His price was right around the other plumbers $335 to snake the line. But then he charged me $65 dollars to take off the toilet and put it back on with a new seal. (Way too expensive for that work and a $3 dollar seal) He snaked the toilet and then mentioned that it would be beneficial for him to do a video scope down the line. But that would cost $185! THis was crazy, but we were worried about it since they had plugged it a few times and had water back up into the house. So we went forward with it. So he did a video and said to us and in the video that the line where it connects to the septic tank was broken off and that we would need to get a septic person out to dig it up and replace the line. Besides being super expensive, when we got the septic digging crew out and dug it all up we found out there was nothing wrong with the pipe. We had the tank pumped and the guy pumping the tank snaked from the tank to the house and pulled out stuff and got it unclogged. This was super disappointing that I paid $1200 dollars to have a septic company dig it up and ruin my lawn for no reason at all! Not happy with All Star Rooter for their bad call that cost a fortune from them and a whole day for me to be with the excavation team and the cost of them too! And they didn't totally unplug it! The septic pumping company did that free with the cost of pumping!

Electric panel was not labelled correct, worked through finding the correct breakers to allow service. Tested to verify floats were operational (which they were). Pump was over 12 years old and was shot. Replaced the pump and put in a new junction box.
Septic alarm which had altered me to the issue had failed as well, once again over 12 years old. Tech replaced that as well in the basement.
Everything went prompt and smooth, just the total price a bit much. Pump and alarm had significant markup.

Showed up on time, dug up the septic covers. At this point I came out to ask some questions about how to best maintain a tank. York gave me some advice. I asked if he needed anything from me (he didn't), so I left him to finish the task.
I have to guess at the quality since it's a job done sight unseen. But it's been two months and no problems.

    Earth Artist
Mark offered the best price among the three companies bidding on this job.  He performed the work as soon as the town approved the plan and completed the work on time.  Even though the removal of the old septic system pretty much chewed up the entire yard, Mark's team put it back in order and graded the lawn back to its original condition.
It is not a job I see doing again, but I would recommend Earth Artist to anyone doing septic work or general excavating.

Scheduled over the phone. Agreed on date and time. Arrived at appointed time. Was extremely courteous and professional. Completed job in approximately 40 minutes. Note: I have used Berkshire for years. It has always been always been a positive experience. I don't think their price has changed in years. I normally dig up the tank; however, they only charge $25 if you want them to uncover it.

They visited my house twice. The first step involved initial probing and follow recommendations for me to help in diagnosing the issue. After this stage and further telephone consultations we agreed that test pits were necessary. Three representatives plus a bulldozer spent the day at my property investigating the issue. They were not too quick to judge the complex source of the problem and in the end we believe we resolved it.
