    One Stop Home Repairs
Derrick and One-Stop are top-notch professionals. Incredible pride in the work they do, I was continually impressed by how seriously they took their promises and schedules seriously. Derrick runs a project with efficiency and adaptability and is a great communicor. The follow-through and lack of surprises was terrific. He helped transform a small pool shed into a gorgeous pool house in days. Arrived every day he said he would bright and early and did an impeccable job. I can't say enough about the excellent decisions he made throughout the project to solve problems and make the end result better than we expected. We'll be having Derri

    The Pool Guys LLC
The Pool Guys (Nils Vitale and John Vargovchik) have opened/closed our pool and made minor repairs to our old pool pump/circulating system for the past two years. They are knowledgeable, competent and reasonably priced. They keep their commitments and are punctual. This year 2014, we had them remove our inherited nonworking pool heater and install a brand new one, which they helped us spec out and price. On their recommendation, we hired a plumber whose work we also liked (also favorably reviewed by me on Angie's List: John Comer Plumbing & Heating). As a team, it is obvious that they have solid experience and they always complete the assigned work quickly and efficiently.

They did find the pipes were damaged.  They wrote the estimate.   I wrote the check for $300 for the pressure testing.  He was going to give the paperwork to the owner and he was suppose to be in touch with me.  He asked if I wanted to get approval from the insurance company and I said no. The  I called back on May 6th.  I spoke to Mike and he said, 'I can't make the scheduling'  He said Joe had to make the scheduling.  I felt like they were giving me the run around.  Joe said Jeremy was suppose to get in touch with me.  I called again and got their answering service and no one returned my call.  In the meantime, my pipes are disconnected.  I have a hole in the ground. I have no idea why they are acting this way.  I had to contact another company which can't come until the middle of June. They said to get 'shock' and get a pump to circulate the pool to prevent algae that's in there.  I do not understand their behavior.  They put the pool in to begin with.

Pete closed my pool this fall and I was really impressed by his professionalism. He came by my house before the appointment to see what cover I had and look at the pool so he could give a better estimate. He shows up exactly on time for both appointments and gets the work done exactly as he said he would. Very nice person and great work.

They send their guys out to clean our pool on Friday and begin looking into the leaks. They don't fix all the leaks and leave the pool in a state where the filter cannot be used at all (spewing water everywhere when turned on).  The pool was not completely cleaned and while they were here they broke a railing and two solar lights. They were also very unprofessional and rude.
They were supposed to come back the next day and never showed up. When you call them you sometimes get a rude guy, sometimes get an answering machine, and sometimes get an answering machine that doesn't even let you leave a message.
I finally get in touch with someone on Sunday (a day after they were supposed to come back) and they said they would come on Tuesday (3 days after schedule) and that they would be there at noon.  I call them at 12:30 today asking where they are and they said, "He is stuck at a job and you are next on the list".  I was frustrated at this point and it should have been obvious to them. I said, "This is getting ridiculous, my pool is still leaking and is unusable right now, what am I supposed to do?". They simply reply, "I don't know what to tell you".
Completely rude and unprofessional people. DO NOT HIRE THEM!
They deserve to go out of business.

After the Town informed Shoreling Pools that it's Zoning regulations were not followed. Shorling Pools were to come to the property to install an additional suction outlet in the spa. The work was performed as agreed but it was the office administrators who were not as professional as one would expect. They refused to put anything in writing. Days of constant phone calls with no resolutes. I was transfered from one person to another. One year later I was informed by the local town officials that a final inspection was not done to the work. I call Shoreline to satisfy the Town and get the required C/O needed. Shoreline assigned Barry to contact me and resolve this. Barry was less than helpful. He disregarded everything I told him. I would explain the problem and he would tell me I was wrong. A few days later would call me and give the same info I told him days earlier. After I met with the Building Inspector and got approval needed I was told to contact the company who applied for the permit to submit the approval paperwork and get the C/O. I contacted Barry and explained what the inspector told me, once more Barry disregarded what I told him. Called me back and informed me that I was to have a land survey done on the pool and the original engineering plans. Not sure what he was talking about I contacted the Building Department for the Town. I spent the first 5 minutes of that conversation apologizing to the clerk who not only answered my call but just got off the phone with Barry. She told me what she told Barry. All paperwork was in and the C/O was ready. Which I picked up and now have on file.

They were convenient and the quality of work was good. The people seemed to know what they were doing. However, they were not as inexpensive as some other companies and they were not that responsive.
