    Fox Pest Control
At first when I started service with FOX it was going ok the rodent issue was cleared up after they put traps outside for rats after putting traps for just mice in the home and spraying for ants. , Then as the year was over they kept coming by without calling or emailing us They spray for ants in the heavy rain, in winter with snow but they kept not changing the bait on the mouse and rat traps. We called them back they would be forced to come onsite inside our home and provide service for rodents too... After fighting with this company I found that they just likes to bill you and not provide any services I GIVE UP !!! I cannt keep calling them to force them to call before they come so they can treat my home for rodents THE MAIN REASON I HAVE THEIR SERVICE !!!!! Their service contract locks you in to spend money providing services you don't need....!!! Be careful what you sign they like to make the first bill cheap and then keep billing you

He came the next morning, immediately assessed what the problem was (carpenter bees) and treated the problem area. He also checked the decks around the rest of the house to be sure bees hadnt started somewhere else. No problems since!

Quick and effective. We were told that it would take a day or two to notice the disappearance of yellow jackets, and if after a week bees remained we should call for a repeat treatment. We never saw another bee after a few days, problem solved in one visit.

Not an honest business and highly not recommended. The technician didn't place termite monitor and didn't check mice inside the house. Empty promise and no action while contacting the company numerous times. Once you are forced to cancel the service, they re-charge you the discount that enticed you to sign up the service in the first place. $300 for half hour service and all the subsequent hassle? Not worth it. Avoid this business. A couple of days after I cancelled future service, a $165 for cancellation fee was charged directly to my credit card. This is great. Original service wasn't done right. Tried a month to get you guys to correct it without any success. Now I am paying another $165 for nothing. I can't think of anything I did wrong except that I trusted you guys in the first place. Lesson learnt.

The owner came promptly and examined our house throughly. He explained the problem clearly and suggested a solution that was compatible with our dogs. He returned after treating the property to reinspect and refilled some traps, and quickly came back at my request an extra time at no charge to check if there was any further problem.

He did the ants; we've gotta call him back for the bees.? As soon as I called him, he came out.? He came, they were gone, that was it.? The cost wasn't cheap, but then again I don't know what anybody else would have charged either.? He was fine.? Give him A's for everything.? He came to give me an estimate, I said okay, he came right in, and he did it.? He didn't waste any time.?

Not well, Mice are still there. I was misled. They told me I can pay the 200 and then have a maintanence agreement which they changed there mind on and said I could not have it anymore. Would not return phone calls or messages.

Kevin responded via phone quickly, quoted me on the phone and came the very next day. Upon arriving he walked to premises with me and educated me in detail on carpenter ants behavior and how he planned to attack the problem. He was careful and concerned about not spraying on my neighbors property and making certain my cat was safely indoors before spraying. Great communicator, great work and honest. So honest, in fact, that days later I received a check from him for $5. I guess there was a slight error and he felt compelled to pay me back the difference. It was really not necessary and something I would never have spotted but that speaks volumes to his honesty. Will certainly use him again if needed.

It was very expensive so I didn't go for the treatment though.  There were no additional costs.  They came out shortly after the purchase date.  I definitely did not like the price.  The responsiveness was good.

Well, I did buy the trap but couldn't tell whether it or any others had decided to leave, too. I decided to get a certified professional wildlife control officer (part of a national organization) to take a look and he said the hole was definitely caused by a bird, probably a woodpecker, due to the droppings underneath the hole, and the nesting material that the carpenter found when the trap was taken down. He said flying squirrels prefer very high, three-story, dilapidated buildings to live in, not this one-level building where there's a huge park with 20-foot tall trees about 30 yards away. He said if it was a flying squirrel, they can glide 200 feet from the tallest tree (two houses over) but there were not a lot of options once the squirrel got to the the building -- nowhere to go but down onto the ground, and that's not what they like to do; they prefer to stay at treetop level and glide between high points. The wildlife control officer also went into the attic and didn't find any presence of squirrels.
I'm not sure whether it was Thoroughspect or the wildlife control officer, but I was told that the repair to the soffit had to be metal, not wood; the carpenters were able to construct/mold and paint a metal flashing piece that looked like the other soffits.
The wildlife control officer told me that I couldn't simply remove the limbs on the left side of tree and that the whole tree would need to be removed as it look very unbalanced.
