    Well worth it they were polite, quick, tidy, and took care in their preping and clean up. The timing was perfect as our winter has been cold and windy and we have warm home that is more efficiently heated! We are very happy with Sky Property Services and would highly recommend them to friends and family.

    At the onset of our relationship in the fall 2013, we were enthusiastic about the work we contracted with Mr. Handyman especially because both parties appeared to appreciate the necessary updates that a 220 year old house requires.
    Working with Bob was a joy.  He replied to all our questions and concerns in a timely manner.  Unfortunately, Lorenzo was in charge of our account.  To our regret, neither Lorenzo nor Michelle returned our numerous phone calls and e-mails. We found both Lorenzo's and Michelle's lack of communication unprofessional, frustrating, and disheartening; clearly, they are not an asset to Mr. Handyman.  Needless to say, the communication on Handyman's side ceased to exist.
    In the summer of 2014, we reached out to Gulick hoping that they could solve our problem with Mr. Handyman.  To our surprise, Gulick told us that they, too, could not get a returned phone call from Mr. Handyman.  After two weeks, Gulick told us that Mr. Handyman was no longer interested in completing our job and referred us to another company.  
    Quite frankly, we were shocked.  Our communication with Mr. Handyman was polite and consistent and all work to date was paid in full at time of completed service.  Please note, $8,000 worth of work remained incomplete.   
    Fortunately, we contracted with Mr. Handyman's competitor who came out on Wednesday, reviewed the work, answered our questions and concerns, quoted the job, and today we signed and paid them for over $9,000 worth of work starting later this month. We could not be happier. Unfortunately  due to the lack of completion for our work we never received our Home Energy Rebates 
    In closing, we will never recommend Mr. Handyman.

    Showed up on time. Professional. Nice guy.
    He discussed the energy loss and potential of the house. He did go room by room and used a cool little gadget they could see temperature changes though walls. He went into my attic and told me about all potential "threats" to energy loss and what I can do to fix it.
    Two things that stood out. One, I had (since replaced with gas boiler) a old old oil burner, it was leaking fumes, but there was 2 servicemen that came out to fix and deal with the boiler saying that it was just crud smell, and unless you replace the whole thing, there's nothing that you can do about it. The gentlemen from green star went crazy and insisted that its a hazard and that he was going to call the fire department and have us banned from the house. He said it was carbon monoxide and we will be dead within a few days. He tried to force open a window in the basement that was sealed shut (for a reason), and he broke off the handle. Instead of apologizing or even offer to fix it, he just put the piece he broke on the ground and said we should just go in another room.
    I understand this was just a part of a sales call per se. But I wanted my home to be energy assessed, and it really was not. I got no paperwork or anything saying that he did any service at all. The only paperwork I got was a estimate for installing insulation all over the house and a heat pump HVAC system. I wanted neither of them from the get go. It would of been nice to get the detailed report of the energy assessment of my house and not a quote for work. 
    THe whole thing lasted no more then an hour.

    Not the best, but I guess not the worst either.
    They did the door blower test which revealed different air leaks in the house. They sealed around some of the doors in the home, installed some door sweeps, caulked around baseboard registers etc. However, the work was far from consistent and less than professional in quality.
    There are 15 registers / returns in the home and we were told they would caulk around them all, they caulked around 7. 2 of which the caulking was so thin that it cracked before the next morning.
    There are 3 sinks in the house where pipes were supposedly "foamed and insulated" on their report. There is no additional insulation visible anywhere that I can see.
    We are entitle up to 40 CFL light bulbs in the home, however, even the 30 they said they changed were not completed.
    For example:
    -there are 2 nightstand lamps in the bedroom. One lamp received a CFL and the other wasn't touched.
    -there is a hallway ceiling light that was supposed to be changed out with CFLs, but still has the same old bulbs.
    -downstairs bathroom still has all three original bulbs
    -two bedroom ceiling fans that take regular "A" type bulbs all have the same bulbs
    I sent an email to the gentlemen who came out to the house asking if we could at least receive the extra bulbs. He did respond and said yes, but never got back in touch with me. After the general overall experience I did not bother chasing after them for a few more dollars worth of bulbs. However, the whole point is not the money, its the fact that these were all listed on the report and not completed accordingly.
    They did recommend an insulation company to come in and give us a quote and also told us about different programs offered from the state which would allow us access to rebates for making home energy improvements. All in all, I guess it helped us to know where the air leaks were in the house, but the overall performance of the team was simply sub-par. They were nice, polite and somewhat informative but by no means "wowed" me.
