    Rainbow Painting
Scott and his crew painted nearly my entire interior (kitchen, living room - with vaulted ceilings, dining room, entryway, hallway, and nursery) in just 5 days. They were super efficient and the work was excellent. Scott is easy to communicate with and responsive to any ideas you have. Couldnt have asked for it to go any smoother! We loved them so much, we added on painting our kitchen cabinets!

    Colite Construction Company
As a widowed single mother of two girls in an incredibly difficult accelerated one year nursing program, I was beyond overwhelmed when I had a major septic overflow in my home. My first-floor bathroom, front hallway and entire kitchen needed to be gutted. The team manager of the mitigation company that I used, suggested David Colite of Colite Construction simply because he used the same program that the insurance companies use to build estimates for damage repairs. Supposedly it was more seamless to work with a contractor that used this program. Due to the fact that I was so busy with school and taking care of my girls, I agreed to go with David Colite. It was the worst decision I could have made. I am confident that David Colite will respond to this negative review like he has with the others I have read; stating that he is really upset that I am writing this, that he did everything I asked of them and that I signed the job satisfaction form. He told me multiple times that I was an awesome client and quite honestly I know that I was. I paid him on time and I wasnt phased when he needed to be at another job for a day to receive a delivery or do work. I was kind, patient and trustingtoo trusting, my mistake. It wasnt until we were nearing the end of the job that I started seeing the poor workmanship and even worse I realized that he had charged me for several items that had never been purchased and in fact, I had purchased them myself. The signed contract stated that the job would be completed by May 31, 2018. The last time he was at my home was June 26, 2018 and the job was not near completion. I wish that I could post the text messages and recorded voicemails from him promising to complete the work after I raised my concerns, specifically responding, Piece of cake. I had planned on doing most of that today. We will take care of all of that not a problem. It wasnt until I asked him to do the right thing and reimburse me for over $3,000 that he received payment on and yet he did not purchase the materials or perform the work, that he replied letting me know that his work was done, that the project was complete and wished me good luck. I also wish that I could post the multiple photos of the work that he and his children did at my home, the craftsmanship is so poor. If you look at the photos I took of my kitchen from afar, they look beautiful. That is what he used to send to the insurance company to show the work was complete. No other photos were sent because the bathroom was not near completion. If I was able to post close-up photos of the kitchen, you would see the multiple corners that were cut and how poor the craftsmanship is. He put the job satisfaction one-sheet in front of me as I was racing out the door to pick up my children, and more importantly he did this prior to the work being completed. My attorney laughed at the job satisfaction form, stating that it would NEVER stand up in court and is extremely unprofessional. I also wish that I could share the PowerPoint document that I created for the insurance company that is 20 pages long with specifics of everything that happened from April to late June of this year. At the end of the day, I was too kind, too generous, and too trusting of David Colite of Colite Construction. Lesson learned. This man is not to be trusted. All that he cares about is getting paid and will cut corners on anything to get the job completed. Luckily, I have consulted with my attorney and I will be working with my insurance company to get the work done properly.

    Anderson Pro Painting LLC
Anderson Pro Painting did a wonderful job for us. The owner Anderson is very responsive, and his crew are courteous and professional. The services we had done were: exterior power washing, installation of drywall, interior walls, trim, and ceilings painted, as well as entire exterior painted. Andersons team took great care to clean up and leave everything as it was before. We would definitely hire Anderson Pro painters again!

    TRP Construction
TRP Construction (Tom Prete) did a fabulous job renovating our bathroom. Tom is extremely professional and prompt with an excellent price for the job. I am tremendously pleased with TRP & Tom Prete. He keeps you posted as to timing and the next steps of the job, cleans up the job site every night, and has a very professional Crew. One of Tom's specialties is fine carpentry which came out great in the bathroom. I can honestly recommend TRP & will use them on my next projects.

    DMZ Painting
Don was fantastic throughout the experience.  He immediately got in touch with me (while he was away on vacation) and then came to the house and provided a quote on the spot after talking through the project with me.  The prep work and attention he pays is impressive and it shows in the finished product.  He was so easy to work with, he made recommendations when I asked including light carpentry work that he suggested and did himself.  He will connect you with other skilled trades if you ask him and overall just wants to be as helpful as possible.  I would recommend him to anyone and could not be happier with the outcome of the project, it far exceeded my expectations.

    East Bay Home Repair
Adie was responsive, professional, and his work was high-quality. I contacted him in mid December and asked him to perform the work before my family Christmas party, and Adie was able to fit me in. The new kitchen disposal he installed didn't work at first (defective from manufacturer) and Adie came by twice (note: after I'd paid him) to resolve the issue. He made helpful suggestions for how to best get the work done. And his price was reasonable. I'd definitely use him again.

    Better Built Basements LLC
This project was as smooth as could be.  We had a wonderful assessment by Jeremy Mintner, who got our vision, did a great job of diagramming a very difficult space, and giving good advice.  We were concerned because the estimate Jeremy gave us was approximately 10K lower than the other two estimates we received.  We were very wary of going with what seemed like a "lowball estimate."  However, we contacted several references, and all were very enthusiastic, so we moved forward.
Jeremy and his boss Randy  came over to review the project and finalize plans.  From then on in it could not have been smoother.  The permits were pulled expeditiously.  The company was awesome about updating the calendar on an online tool they use.  THe workman were professional, nice, and efficient.  When it became clear that some things might be cheaper if we outsourced them (such as the HVAC), Randy advised us to do so. Similarly, we preferred a particular cork floor that their supplier could not easily access, so there was no problem getting a credit to the contract and ordering by ourselves.
The project came in on time, is absolutely beautiful. There were a few details that we did not anticipate that I wish we had thought of- for example, matching the basement banisters to the rest of the house. The banisters supplied are lovely- no complaint- but it's a small design feature that might have been suggested.  That said, the space is beautiful, the price was right, and we will definitely get them to bid next year when we redo our kitchen and master bath.

Cal is a lovely guy, responsive, clear, and straightforward. His job manager Dennis was totally professional. He and his team were clean, efficient, and did a fantastic job, totally on time. They were excellent problem solvers and had great suggestions. Cal was disappointed that because of other contractors they couldn't finish until three days after we moved in. We will definitely use them in the future.

    DMZ Painting
DMZ provided great service in a timely and friendly way.  He started the project while we were on vacation and took very good care of our home while we were away.  He also was very nice to our cat!  The workmanship is unbelievable.  Every detail was addressed and he left our home clean.  He even suggested a color that was perfect.  We love our new kitchen and will use him again for all of our painting projects.  Highly recommended.
