Mr. Welensky provided no estimate, is a poor communicator, impatient, aggressive and arrogant. We did not continue with his service based on his demeaning and unprofessional attitude. Treated my 85 year old mother with disrespect. When she asked his opinion of how close her little shrubs should be placed, he stated "how long do you plan to live here?" as if the bushes would outlast her. That's none of his business. When he kept directing his talk to me, her daughter, instead of my mother, the customer, she called him out on it - and his reply was "Look, I'm the professional, you don't want to go there with me!". This is just a sample of the conversation. Rough around the edges in all ways. Beware and good luck.

I called over two weeks ago, on Thursday, to request an estimate for regular lawn maintenance (mowing, seeding/fertilizing, potential landscaping, etc.). I was also excited about the prospect of having a single contractor that could consolidate the various services that I need year round, including leaf and snow removal. I was told that someone would be out the next day to take a look at my yard and would give me a call. I went through the weekend without hearing from anyone, so Monday afternoon I called back. I was told that because of rain late in the last week, they were behind on scheduled clients and were working to get caught up. Understandable. I was then told they'd try to get out to take a look at my lawn the following day (Tuesday). It's now been approximately 2 weeks since then with no contact of any kind. I'm disappointed by the lack of professionalism displayed here. Either N.A.I. does not value new prospective clients, which seems a poor strategy for the long-term viability of a client dependent business, or they are over-extended with their existing clientele, in which case they need to be notifying new callers that they don't have the capacity to take on any new clients currently. For the reasons stated above, Responsiveness, Professionalism, and Punctuality are rated as F's. As no estimate or work was every provided, price and quality are rated as a neutral C.

From start to finish everything went perfect. Wayne responded quickly to my request for a quote, which was actually less than I anticipated and scheduled the work for the very next day. The workers arrived right on time (maybe even a few minutes early) and the tree was removed before I even had to leave for work. I will be calling them again next spring for a quote on grinding a huge stump in my backyard. Lastly, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

Here's what you can expect from Birch Hill. This is a small family operation, so if ANYONE takes the day off, they have to cancel on you, at the last minute, which happens FREQUENTLY. The daughter, who answers the phone, has a poor attitude, so that's not fun. I would suggest that you provide actual pictures and names of trees and plants that you want, because using descriptive words will not get your message across. Be aware: There is a BIG difference in the quality of trees and plants they offer. Initially, I got small, scrawny trees that died. After I pitched a fit, those were replaced with larger, healthier trees that lived. I would have preferred not to pitch a fit, but unfortunately, that seems to be what they respond to. I saved up for a year to be able to afford landscape design, and I am sorry I chose Birch Hill. Ultimately, they finished the job and replaced dead trees according to their warranty, but it took 15 months from start to finish and caused me a lot of stress. Also, although they say they are "woman owned," I saw no evidence of this and, as a woman, I felt like I was condescended to.

They are a spring and fall inspection and service. Their pricing is okay. They are very professional. To do better there were little things the last time that involved getting all the sprinklers turned on correctly. They turn it off in the fall and then they turn it on. Somehow it did not go as well this time.

s that needed work, they took care of them The work the provide rdid was totally professional, done to the highest standards.  The provider removed seven trees, five of which were very tall, one of which was an enormous sugar maple that was diseased.  In addition, the provider trimmed a dozen trees.  In the contract we signed with the provider, he was to trim only five, but when the crew spotted seven others that needed work, they trimmed tham at no additional charge.  Our yard was spotless by the time they departed.  Sotil Tree Service is a first-class business.  I have dealt with them over many years and would give them my highest recommendation.

Liz came out and we discussed what I wanted to get done, she was obviously very knowledgable and gave suggestions on what did, and did not, need to be done. The price quoted was very reasonable and Liz said they would be out in about 2 weeks but they actually came a little earlier. The work was done today, it looks great and the cleanup was exceptional, everyone was friendly and polite and I am very happy with it. I will definitely recommend them and use them in the future.

!Our experience with Bahler Brothers was consistently pleasant and professional, from our preliminary contact through the completion of our project. All phases of the project were completed on or ahead of the time estimates From designing our new patio to selecting borders, edges, and the patio stone itself to excavation to installing the base and finally, laying the patio deck we were extremely pleased with our work with this company. This is a family owned and operated business which was clearly evident in the pride they took in their work. We are certain we received excellent value for our money.

I found Wayne to be forthright honest and hard working. His two young counterparts were quite adept at getting the job done quickly and efficiently. When all was said and done the cleanup barely indicated that there had been trees there except for the stumps he will remove these in the spring
