Heritage Kitchen & Bath Center Inc
Fantastic, the guys were very clean, knowledgeable and articulate. I can really tell they take pride in their work. Any small problems that arose (which always do) they quickly and easily adjusted to make my project move forward at a fast pace. They constantly kept me in the loop as to what was going on, and recommended minor changes to accommodate the finished look that I was after. The owner George Jay went above and beyond to meet my expectations, I have nothing but good things to say about them , BRAVO

TC' s Plumbing & Heating LLC
I contacted TC's and was promptly responded to by the owner, Tony Coscia. After a couple of calls we were able to coordinate a schedule and time. After receiving a call announcing their arrival, the company associate, Bert, promptly arrived at the scheduled time. He was professional, knowledgeable and personable. As I had multiple, what I considered to be small issues, I was fearful I would not be able to have all of them repaired at one time and that is would cost an exuberate amount but to my surprise, he repaired all in a reasonable amount of time and cost. He was very clean and worked quickly.

Having zero plumbing experience myself at the time, I was unaware there were cartridges in the new bathroom faucets. Bert, an honest man, informed me it would be more cost effective for me to purchase the cartridges on my own and replace them myself. After his instructions, I was able to do so quickly. It was an easy fix to an annoying drip. I appreciate the refreshing honesty. This information will be most useful for the future.

I would highly recommend the company and would have no problem contacting them again should I need a plumber for any reason whether the project be large or small. Thank you so much!!

Excellent service. Mike arrived on time, assessed the problem and replaced the faucet quickly and cleanly although the pipe was situated through a crawl space. He was very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly.

    Mike's Plumbing Services LLC
During this past January (2015), while my husband and I were wintering in Florida, something stopped working in the hot water heating system. We had asked some family members to look into the house periodically, but with all the storms and deep snow no one apparently was able to get into the house.  According to the extent of the damages, the house must have been frozen a long time for all of the heat radiators to freeze, swell and burst.  When the weather warmed a bit the burst pipes started flowing and water was spreading out all over the floors.  We were notified by our home security agency that a water sensor in the basement had sent out an alarm.  By the time Mike's Pluming got into the house it was 'raining' in the basement with an inch of water on the floor.  In addition to stopping the continuing water flow and finding and fixing the leaks, they also brought in portable heaters to keep our utility room (full of gages, valves, pipes, water tanks and the boiler) from freezing.  They found the source of the heat failure in the boiler, ordered and replaced the failed parts.  Mr. Carafotes also volunteered to walk with our home insurance adjustor through all the repairs, although on the day arranged for the adjustor to be at the house, Mr. Carafotes was called out to another heating emergency.  I feel that I can say without doubt that Mike's Plumbing Services earned their payment.

Apparently sometime during January of 2015, while my husband and I were wintering in Florida, something stopped working in the hot water heating system.  We had asked some family members to look into the house periodically, but with all the deep snows and the many storms, no one apparently was able to do that.  According to the extent of the damages, the house must have been frozen a long time for all of the heat radiators to freeze, swell and burst. When the weather warmed a little the burst pipes started spreading water over the hardwood floors. We were notified that a water sensor in the basement had sent out an alarm to our home security agency.  By the time Mike's Plumbing got into the house it was raining in the basement with an inch of water on the floor. In addition to stopping the continuing water flow and finding and fixing leaks, they brought in heaters to keep our utility room (full of gages, valves, pipes water tanks and the boiler) from freezing.  They found the source of the heat failure in the boiler, ordered and replaced those parts as well as several other heat related parts.  Mr Carafotes also volunteered to walk the home insurance adjustor through all the repairs, although on the day arranged for the adjustor to be at the house Mr. Carafotes was called out to another heating emergency. I feel that I can say without doubt that Mike's Plumbing Services earned their payment.

Steve Basso Plumbing Heating And Ac
The 'Cost of Service' quoted, was an accumulation of multiples visits during the terrible winter of 2014.  Our home has several heating zones, but in December of 2013 a couple of the zones apparently shut down resulting in near freezing temperatures. We had several different heating and plumbing contractors to the house trying to find out where the problem was.
The Steve Basso company was tenacious in repeatedly coming to the house (despite the heavy snow and icy temperatures), re-purging the system, checking all the cold pipes for leaks, ice or air 'plugs' and re-starting the system. After several house calls it was finally discovered that a faulty relay switch was the culprit. The switch was replaced and the system has been working fine ever since.
We would defiantly recommend the Steve Basso Heating and Plumbing Co. as a reliable and dependable organization.  All the men who came to our house were very knowledgable, skilled and exhibited complete professionalism at all times.

Ron Rich Jr Plumbing & Heating llc
The job took about 2 1/2 days to complete.  The owner put a camera down the main water pipe to see the exact problem.  It wasn't pretty for us, but he kept us informed during the entire process.  They had to remove the old exit pipe(ceramic), and replaced it with brand new PVC Piping along the entire line.  Since the Maple was in the direct path of the line, they had to go around it, which meant more work for them.  We were never out of the loop with what they were doing, and he informed us of any changes.  He was very professional, he did a fantastic job every step of the way.  We will definitely call him next time we have plumbing issues.  Top notch job!

    RAPS PLUMBING & HEATING
Firstly, we have a very complex hot water heating system that includes hot water solar panels on our roof that are connected into our hot water heating system and with the domestic hot water.  We were experiencing rather chilly temps in the house (mid Dec.) and notice that there were heating zones that were cold despite the thermostats calling for heat. We have had several plumbing folk in to make repairs in the past, but frequently they would admit that our system was much more complicated than they could handle.
Raps Plumbing was one of a few plumbing co.s that seemed to understand and 'dope out' the system.  We indicated that we would be interested in re-designing the entire system in the summer of 2014 and requested a complete proposal that was submitted within a short time.
We have a few other proposals at this point and will be deciding who we wish to handle the project in spring 2014.

    T R Home Improvement LLC
Troy Rosebrock is a consummate professional handyman, Jack-of-All-Trades, electrician/carpenter/plumber. When I closed recently on my new (older) home in Ansonia, I needed so many different types of workmen I didn't know where to start to look. Everyone seemed to know someone, was a brother/sister of someone, knew a friend of a friend, but noone could give me specifics so I went to work looking at Angie's list of local companies to see what I could find. Lo and behold, I came up with TR Home Improvement right nearby in the same town I lived, Ansonia.
Troy Rosebrock came down the next evening after I called him and spent an hour with me going over the list of jobs that I had for him and telling me what he could do to help me. Every job was listed on a digital notebook that he carried and whatever I asked was entered on a handheld digital voice recorder in addition so he would not forget a single thing when he got back to his office. Within a few days, he emailed me my endless list of home improvements all priced out. To my surprise, all the prices were reasonable and there was no sticker shock! I had him start the very next day.
When Troy says he will be there, he is there on time and works all day sometimes not leaving until well after dark. He is a perfectionist and does not go on to another job until the job he is working on is finished to my and his satisfaction. Some might think a perfectionist is a very slow and methodical worker; but I was happily surprised to find that he was so fast with most tasks that he had finished before I even knew that he had started--and it was done right the first time.
There were a few electrical and plumbing jobs that gave even Troy a hard time and he had the good sense to bring in a master plumber/electrician subcontractor that he had for some intricate wiring jobs in the basement and kitchen. Again, to my surprise, the prices did not go through the roof like I thought they would.
I got to know Troy and his subcontractor Pete very well for the two weeks that he was at my house every day, good enough to trust him with a key to my house so he could come and go as he needed. I never regretted that decision and I will be using him again in the Spring for some masonry work on my foundation.

    Jack's Plumbing & Repair
Found Jack on Angie's list on Saturday and the job is already complete on Monday morning. It wasn't a big job but it was a little tricky since our house is on a slab. As well as fixing our initial problem they pointed out a couple of additional problem areas and took care of that as well. The quality of the work is excellent, folks are responsive and friendly and I definitely recommend Jack and his team. I would call them again without any hesitation. And - he's got a coupon right here on Angie's list!
