    Carroll Painting
The original restoration and painting was in 2010, since then I needed to have some minor issues repaired and painted. Each time Carroll Painting made the repairs without question. Peter Carroll was on site to make sure the work was completed properly and covered by his company's warranty.

Awesome service! Eduardo came to my home for an estimate the day after I originally contacted him. He had the estimate to me in under 24 hours and they started the project right when he said they would. They did a fantastic job on my home and took care of it along the way. He guarantees his work and I appreciate the excellent job and service that both Eduardo and his workers gave me and my home. Excellent communication, as well! I would not hesitate to use this company again!

    Southwestern Design
Southwestern Design is a family-owned business with no subcontractors.  Dennis Eason is the owner, and he, his wife and sons do all of the work themselves, and do a great job!  They had to first finish removing all of the mess left by the previous company that I fired for using illegal workers, and then set about prepping the house for wrapping and wire.
They provided all of their tools, scaffolding, materials, etc., and were exceptionally punctual at all times.  They finished the site prep within a week and had the brown coat (initial layer) on in 10 days.  Rather than immediately start with the final coat, Mr. Eason waited a full 28 days to fully cure the brown coat.
They did the window and door pop-outs in a contrasting color of my choice (at no extra cost).  The final coat was well done and the total project was a complete success.  All of the exterior lights, gutters, etc., were re-installed and the work area cleaned up completely.  The final coat was completed in a week.  This was a real trial for Mr. Eason as he was in race to complete this job before he had to have a shoulder replacement the next week!  But he didn't let that interfere with this project.  He got it done in an exceptional manner!
Mr. Eason also coordinated for matching pea-gravel to be delivered (at my cost) to repair the damage to my driveway that was done by previous contractors.  When the material was delivered, Mr. Eason came back with his skid loader, spread the gravel and dressed it for me at no additional cost.
Considering the problems I had with the previous stucco company, this job was a breeze and very well done.  I highly recommend Southwestern Design and Mr. Eason to anyone contemplating stucco for their home.

    Colorado Window & Door Company
The entire episode was a disaster. When the first crew of five or six showed up to start, none of the workers spoke enough English to understand that I needed them to move their vehicles so I could exit my garage. I finally found the crew boss and asked if all of the workers were legal, either citizens or legal immigrants with EINs. He said, No. I told him that the illegal workers must be replaced by legal employees. I walked in the house and they all loaded up and left.
The POC to whom I was directed at Colorado Window and Door named Eric accused me of throwing his men off my property.
When I explained the situation he promised to have a legal crew here ASAP. Approximately four days later a crew of two supposedly legal workers showed up and began. Two days later they quit because they said Colorado Window and Door would not provide the required scaffolding. Another two man crew showed up two days later, worked four hours and left, never to return again.
After several calls, Eric told me that he just couldnt find enough legal workers to do my job and that I was going to have to help him out with the situation. When asked what that meant, he responded that he was not responsible for the crews because he subcontracted them out. He had to use what they gave him. I told him absolutely no illegal immigrants would be allowed on my property and that I wanted the job completed. He said there was no way he could do it so I demanded my money backand the mess at my home restored.
Eric and a crew came out on a Saturday, removed all of the wire off the house, left large staples all over the house and a huge pile of sand in the middle of my drive way. They also failed to replace the gutters on the house. At some time during this ordeal one the crews took a folding ladder from my home with them! I finally got the refund check but the mess they left and the loss of my ladder were not covered.
I cannot stress enough that this ordeal with Colorado Window and Door was an eye opener. According to Eric, EVERY company installing stucco in the Colorado Springs, CO area is breaking the law and using illegal labor every day on every job. Something to think about
The ONLY bright spot in the entire organization is a young lady name Melissa in the Colorado Springs office.

    Ramirez Plastering
All went well. Fernando called me back in a short time after my initial call. He stayed in contact threw out the job. Price was very reasonable. Workmen were curteous, they cleaned up at the end of their workday. All the trash was hauled away at the end of the job.

There is a reason Rafferty Construction has nothing but excellent reviews on Angie's List, Bart Rafferty does great work.

I requested bids from eight construction companies to stucco my house and garage. Rafferty Construction was not the lowest bid but Bart was the only company that agreed to do all of the work I was requesting. Bart worked with me to make sure his crews were going to do exactly what I wanted done.

His stucco teams were fast, efficient, and thorough. All work was done with care and excellent craftsmanship.

I had a lot of other work, new windows, new roof, going on at the same time. Rafferty's crews worked well with the other contractors crews so that everything went smoothly.

Bart was extremely responsive. Whenever I called him with a question or concern he personally called me back immediately.
Cleanup and haul away of all trash and debris was done as soon as the stucco was applied.

I highly recommend Rafferty Construction. I would definitely use them for any future projects.

He is a great guy.  He had crews with him.  If you deal with him he know what he's doing. The first time we used him was a year an a half ago for stucco in the back of the house.  Most recently he did stucco for the deck.
